Ever wondered what happens to returned Amazon items? Well, we took a dive into a charity shop bin and found a treasure trove of brand new Amazon returns! Join us as we explore our finds, share some tips for dumpster diving responsibly, and maybe even give you some ideas for your next charity shop haul!
Welcome to our dumpster diving adventure channel. We are a married couple in the UK (Lynsey and Alvin) and we love to go Dumpster diving to find lots of amazing items that can be reused or recycled. We donate lots to a fantastic charity shop (a small independent one) We give things away to people/friends/family who want or need it. We use things ourselves and sometimes we are able to sell it to help us get by! But our main aim is to stop so much great stuff from ending up in landfill and destroying our planet.
Join us on our adventures where we find all sorts of wonderful things including perfectly good food/drink. Alvin also recycles by scrapping electrical items and scrap wires etc and there will be more videos about this coming this year. Sometimes we do a random video like a vlog about us and what we do or where we live etc and mostly every Saturday night we have a fun live show where you can join in the live chat. We have a few drinks with you and you can say Hello and get a shout out or ask a question anything goes, they are very adult only Live streams though!

Hiya Tam and Belle 🥰 That charity shop is completely shameful and there is no reason why any of that stuff was thrown away. It was all Amazon parcels and returns and all of it is absolutely fine, no issues what so ever. Some fantastic items too. Am I the only one thinking this is stolen goods dumped in a charity shop bin? An Amazon van was stolen while delivering to my son a little while back x
Hi Debra, To be honest we very much doubt that any if this was stolen. This charity shop is always throwing away really great stuff so it isn't any surprise to us at all. Also we have information that Amazon are now donating their returns to charity shops, but unbeknownst to them the charity shop is binning it anyway. That's crazy though that the Amazon van was stolen when delivering to your son 😲 Thank you for watching x

Hi 😊 Thank you for your comment. We don't have a vehicle and do everything on foot or bicycle. We have been doing this for a long time now so not to bothered about other people. We tend to go when the shops are closed so we aren't disturbed by staff. We find so much that should not be going to landfill and if the charity's can't or won't sell them then they could just give it to people free so that it gets reused and maybe helps somebody out. Hi James, Sorry it's taken a while to reply, we haven't been well. Keep on trying because you won't always find jackpots but every little helps and then you will find something great we are sure. The reality of diving is that it takes lots of hard work to find great things and you won't find that every time you go out. It's pot luck. Hi Sean, Hope you're well 😊 We have no idea how Amazon Returns ended up with the charity shop, they have probably been donated to them in good faith but as usual this shop is a disgrace. Everything we took was fine, nothing wrong with any of it and there are some fantastic items too with some good value. It's a joke because inside the shop they charge stupid prices for crappy stuff. Definitely a great one Kev, We don't mind taking it all but what a waste on the part of the shop! They are so ungrateful and don't deserve to be handed free donations. Need to check the knives sets as we haven't had chance yet but will keep you updated. Thank you for watching ☺️

Hi Martin, Yeah no reason for any of that to be thrown away and it is criminal. Fantastic items with nothing wrong with any of it! The charity shop is a joke and they have the nerve to charge inflated high prices inside the store for sub par products that they don't sell and then that ends up being thrown away too. Well we are 100% sure this is not a mistake, if it is then they make mistakes all of the time by throwing away fantastic donations, we have so many videos that document this. It's not the first time we have found brand new boxes in their bin. They are overpriced in store and very ungrateful for the donations they receive. It's criminal waste. Thank you for watching ☺️

This is all Mary Portas's fault. All charity shops want to be designer shops now, can't be selling "any old second hand stuff"!
Although, the staff in this store are 100% accoubtable for dumping this stuff. Too lazy to process or don't want to dilute their "designer" store! Urgh!
Yes they are really bad, long gone are the good old second hand shops where you could buy a bargain or get some clothing if you were struggling. They think they can charge ebay prices but ebay have a global audience not just local people. Some of the smaller independent charity shops are OK but these big corporate ones are just a joke now. They price High, it doesn't sell and it ends up in the bin. We will keep taking it and either give it to friends and family, donate it to other independent shops or use it/sell it ourselves.
