  • Rene of Paris Evanna has a lace front and a mono part and is a nice density for those who get overwhelmed easily by wigs. She isn't heavy, doesn't really have much permatease (no poofy permatease for sure), and is really realistic looking. My only complaint is that the hair really hangs down in the face, but nothing a little steam won't fix.

    Thank you!
    I've found so many lovely colors in this brand and its sister brands, but my head is a on the larger side. This gives me hope actually since Evanna is one of the styles I want, and it does have a better price point than similar styles from other premium brands.

    What a beautiful color. Fun style, just kind of put on & go. I can't do the LR's, but I do love to watch your videos from start to finish because you take the time to cover everything in depth making me feel like I really know what a piece is all about w/o ever actually purchasing it and seeing for myself. You answer so many questions that I'm sure many people have after they've seen a stock photo, or even another reviewer. Have to say, my dear, I personally think you/your videos have raised the bar on these types of reviews. I notice other reviewers, and there are many great ones out there, have started including some of the areas you cover in your reviews, in theirs. 👍👍
    Thanks for sharing 🤗

      Thank you so much, Linda! Honestly, I am so glad there are so many of us doing these... we are all learning from each other along the way which makes ALL of us better! I certainly have not come up with anything brand new in my videos, and have tried to learn from others, from what I want to see, and from questions I get. I hope to keep improving!

    Cute wig and outside it looks even better, glad to know that ROP monopart is very dense, this goes to my note book, for future reference, thanks for showing her to us, good review and good info.

    Another great review! I love how you spend time really showing us the piece. It helps so much! On this on, I like the variation in the color, but that root gets really, really dark, and I’m not one who can tolerate the knots like that. Thanks to your review, I know that color isn’t for me. I appreciate the great job you do!

    Hi Denise, great review. I have a couple of Evannas. They both had too much hair for me so I thinned them. Also felt the fibres were coarse and frizzy. They are both in boxes now as I discovered Ellen Wille 🙂😀

    • @heywigsister
      @heywigsister  3 года назад +1

      Thank you for sharing your experience! I don't find them to have too much hair at all, but I agree with you on the fibers. They really are not my favorite.... I just posted a giveaway with another Evanna and that one definitely reinforced that the fibers are not my cup of tea, but if there is one lesson I have learned in this journey (and there really are a lot) I have learned that we ALL have different tastes and preferences and wigs that I haven't particularly cared for others love so I try to be careful and just share my observations as good as I can.

    Really good review! Nice that you showed the lace front close up & gave detailed info, also on the mono part. Since I'm a dark brunette I like how they integrated the few strands here & there of blonde at the root & love the wave pattern! I've looked at Evanna, but from the stock photos thought it was going to be way to full & wild near face. Thanks for the review.

    I have this one, it's super cute and the color is fabulous!!! Love how she looks on you! I always pluck the parts on ROP wigs as they are a bit dense for my taste.

    I like Evanna, had one in Ice Blonde. The color Ice Blonde is really a gray-blonde, too ashy even for me, but I did like Evanna. I've also had Mochaccino, but in the regular rooted on the Cameron wig and I remember it being lighter than this one . I think the rooting on the LR is a bit warm for me and if you recall, I always said that the warm roots look fake-plastic in fluorescent lighting. I would have loved to have another Evanna if I could find a color for me, but that is always the trouble for me, that perfect color!

      Yes, I do remember your video on the fake looking roots in stores and such... made me want to go to a store to check mine out, lol! Now that you mention it, I haven't done that yet!

      I have Belle Tress's Amaretto in mocha w cream.... Vienna Roast is same just shorter..maybe a tad curlier...but that can vary from piece to piece.... and its like an Evanna but wayyyy better quality. HD fibers need a little more care, but worth it for natural looking hair. Maybe you'd like as an alternative??

    Hi Denise, thank you for all the reviews and great content. I have watched a lot of your videos and the one about dream hair is where I’m at in my journey. I really love Finn or at least I think I do, I haven’t gotten Finn yet and know you have Finn and Evanna. The color you have in the Evanna looks very similar to the Finn in iced mocha, can you let me know if they are and also if Evanna is not as overwhelming as Finn? Thanks 😊

    • @heywigsister
      @heywigsister  2 года назад +1

      Hi! So I have reviewed Evanna in three colors... I'm assuming you are referring to the Caramel Brown one? None of them were really even close to Iced Mocha but of the three I can see how that one could seem like it could be. Iced Mocha is a really unique color, and I really haven't seen it elsewhere in another line. As for density, Evanna has nonwhere near the amount of hair that Finn has. She also has little to no permatease and is really flat. Even early on in my journey, when I was overwhelmed with almost all wigs, this one just didn't do it for me because of how flat she was. I also have to be honest that there are better fibers and lace fronts out there. I know some people LOVE Evanna and I always wanted to (thus getting her 3 times in different colors) but she just never did it for me.

      @@heywigsister The color I thought looked similar was the mochaccino LR. Thank you for your great advice. I think I’m just going to dive in and get Finn, she reminds me of what my bio hair use to be!

    Cute! I had the Amore Evanna and the root is almost black and the hairline & mono top was really cheap looking. Yours looks like an entirely different color, same name, crazy, huh??? Whenever I have tried to pluck a hairline it curls like ribbon and barely comes out. If it does come out, the hairs around look like curly ribbon. I must be doing something wrong!!! Such a great review, yes I find myself going back on old styles that I disregarded before, we do evolve, thank goodness!!!!

      I plan to learn how to pluck and then make a video on it.... I'll be interested to see how it goes... I will remember your experience with it.

    How dark would you guess that the rooting is? 4, 6? Indoor it looked like the root has a red hue, but that might be the lighting or the camera

    • @heywigsister
      @heywigsister  3 года назад

      I think it is probably a 4.... I agree it looks like of reddish indoors... it is really strange how that happens.
