Great video. Viltrox makes good affordable stuff

Great video! Helped me in my decision to buy the lens😀 Would you say you could still use the lens in dusty environment (e.g the beach, but not close to water ofcourse)? Or would tiny bits of sand or similar make its way trough to the sensor? 😌

Exciting Glass , It would have been better if it was 24 1.8 for Sony Mount. Just an hour ago I placed an order for Viltrox 27 1.2 for Fuji mount.😄

The 24mm is also great, reviewed it a few months ago. Enjoy the 27mm 1.2 🙏🏼

So it seems you are one of the few who have reviewed both the 24mm and 28mm from Viltrox on Sony. Which one is the better lens? Seems like maybe the 28?

I actually think Viltrox screwed up; they should have dropped the price by another $50 by forgoing the aperture ring which 90% of the reviewers complained about. If you are gonna go "cheap" then spend all the money on the optics, and nothing else. If it was $379 with a cruddy aperture ring nobody wants to use and you can't click or declick; vs $325 for a no aperture ring and perhaps even 1CM shorter; I know what the majority of the people would pick.

Will have to get this one for my Nikon ZF. I don’t use an aperture ring so it makes little difference to me.
