This was eerily similar to the Dolphins' stupid 3rd and 20 blitz against the Steelers at the end of the first half when they played each other in 2019.
IDK, the Patriots sending literally everyone at Eli Manning and leaving Ellis Hobbs to cover Plaxico Burress by himself in Super Bowl 42 was pretty dumb.
I specifically remember this game, and I can’t figure out why the penalty was accepted in the first place. Force them to try a long field goal instead. There’s no way Miami should have won their first game of the year on this day
Besides Martz being stupid to take over the defensive play-calling on this one, the play still was pretty much covered on the backside with a high safety. Unfortunately that guy overran the play completely. Had he stayed more centered and patient, he would have slowed the receiver down enough, that the corners, who where close enough, could recover and converge on the ball carrier
Martz irritated me with many of his coaching decisions, so I was never truly high on him as a head coach. Also, is this blitz dumber than the one that got Gregg Williams fired as the Jets' defensive coordinator?
I’m convinced that Williams did that to throw the game so the Jets could continue to tank for Trevor Lawrence. I just don’t understand how they screwed up and won 2 games after that
Until McVay coached the Rams to a playoffs in 2017 that was the last Rams team to make the playoffs. They also should been 1 and done. However they faced the butterfingers in the wild card round.

Early 00s rams... In st Louis...
I was convinced this was a Jeff fisher bungle
The Rams had to be the one of the worst teams to reach the Final 8. Atlanta literally ran over them in that round.

Being a fin fan, I love it!
I love how his explanation is pretty much just “whoopsies!”
The irony is that McMichael ended up playing for the Rams later on.
I was at this game. I miss the old dolphins stadium with the orange seats
Quoth Tuesday Morning Quarterback, “Stop me before I blitz again!”
So... 3rd and 28... in 2004... it's the last time ever in the NFL that something occurred against long odds involving those two particular numbers.
As all my friends and family that are Falcons fans have PTSD

@@marcusmcgraw3519 Was also 50 years to the day of a Raiders/Jets debacle at Shea, may have been paying homage

And another fantastic choke job by the overrated Mike Holmgren
Worse than the Chiefs Bono bootleg touchdown? Or maybe that was just a 7-2 defense or something.
Woke play call that Pete Hegseth would court-martial someone for doing today.
Oh I'm early early
