I know a trust fund baby who got fast-tracked to leadership upon graduation, acquired a Twitter following an posts a lot about how they'll give impromptu performances [singing, I think] at events that they host and how everyone is in awe of their talent. I always think of this line.
“I’m gonna talk like a robot I’m a robot I’m talking like a robot” is the most accurate kid thing I’ve ever seen

One of our favorite SNL sketches of all time!
Funny stuff
when snl was classic
one of the funniest characters MM ever created. And that skit, with Nicole, is Iconic!
That ending is so good. That zoom on his chocolate covered face! Classic.
The acting here was pretty amazing and natural.
You can't overstate the genius of Mike Myers.
That line about the Snicker's bar and a coke and he pulled her car all the way home for seven miles........was the funniest ever.

@@eulaliecholmondeley8326 I get what your saying but this is youtube man grammar doesn't matter
At least I don't have to wear a harness
There's something strangely endearing about this. It's not even that funny, it's just kinds heartwarming
Your comment reminds me of the Kaitlyn & Rick sketches with Amy Poehler & Horatio Sanz. Sweet & endearing.
It's a piece of Commonwealth humour inserted into an American television program...
It's great.
grade school kids just hanging out are 99% like that when no one's looking. it's perfect.
I agree
@@w.s.mcgallis7731 that's what I loved about Mike Myers sketches. His dad was English and he grew up with that influence in his life. Very unique sense of humor.
Wow you're surrounded by a lot of positive support!
Kids are really like this. I've seen it. I used to be an aide for children with disabilities at an elementary school and the kids always just saw me as another kid because I was always there so I got to see how they were when the "real adults" were gone. It was JUST like this.
Ida Dudenmanner I agree, I volunteered at a center for kids with special needs in the Elementary school age and they are astonishing smart and mature in the words they use and say... They are quite 'pragmatic'... And they even know what that means... Lol.
Kids are totally honest about their feelings and feel free to suddenly talk like a robot or sing a hoppy kangaroo song. Spontaneous and free. And then it goes away. Sadly, it goes away.
+Daniel Bradford yup
Daniel Bradford Bring it back. Be yourself.
Mike Myers was literally me when I was in elementary school. I have adhd and was crazy 😂 I’m not even offended it’s so accurate
Myers finally went mental on account of the chocolate!
Ben Marino lol
I tell my wife "You're the Devil!!" At least three times a week. Always followed up with "I love you again!" "I know!"
This is fun to see. We were taking the NBC tour earlier this same day, and we watched these two rehearsing this sketch through a plate glass window.
This is my Sisiters favourite thing EVER.
We saw this on Tv years later on late night TV in Australia in the mid 90's, we still quote it to each other to this day
Reminds me of Austin Powers and Mini me. Dr.Evil "He's gone mental on a count of the chocolate"
RIP mini me verne troyer
Mike bases that on himself
He gets very geeked up on small amount of chocolate...
Best SNL skit ever!!!
That wide angle at the end, zoomed in on his crazy eye look, chocolate smeared all around the perimeter of his mouth.. and that Glycemic twitch. I remember this the when it first aired as well.
This one is a SNL classic for sure! Now.... I gotta have more Cowbell!!!
I still find myself saying "you're the devil!" in reference to this sketch all the time, especially when my wife asks if I want Starbucks.. LOL
My God I remember watching this new episode of SNL back in 93. This was my favorite skit. I remember being 13 and laughing my ass off at this.
Damn I feel old. I remember watching this when it first aired Lol
I'm with ya
Me too. SNL isn't as good like it was in the 90's.
Same here. This was the first season I started watching SNL.
I didn't notice she was Australian until she pointed it out
Ari Pentelovitch you can hear her accent plain as day.
I didn't notice until u pointed it out.
She’s Australian? How did I miss that?!
And you can hear Mike's Canadian accent.
Born in the US though
I think this my all-time favorite Mike Myers sketch. He and Nicole are precious together.
One of favorites of any season. Mike Myers really did come up with solid characters.
Look what Nicole is doing w/ the dolls! BTW great sketch!!!😊
I remember this skit when it aired. Still charming.
The crushing disappointment of adulthood will be second nature to Philip but grace will take it harder and will likely exotic dance in college.
That would be awesome.
Mike Myers was literally me when I was in elementary school. I have adhd and was crazy 😂
And nobody cares.
@@MassimoAngotzi STFU.
the hairy legs even? nttawwt. not kink-shaming either.
I love you, you know 🙂
My son does too. I showed it to him (he’s 20 now) and he busted out laughing at the truth in that skit!🤣
I had to show this to my 17 year old daughter because if our dog was a person, he would be Philip! 🤦🏻♀️ I saw this the night it aired and it is still one of the most memorable and hilarious SNL skits I’ve ever seen. Classic 🤣
That’s exactly why my dad just showed me this
Phillip the Hyper Hypo vs Stuart from MadTV. Round one: fight!

Awesome. Stuart wins!!!!

A battle for the Centuries to come.
I remember being like 5 or 6 when this came out and watching it with my parents and we were cracking up! One of our favorite skits.
Probably my favorite Mike Myers sketch, and one of my all-time favorite SNL sketches.
A classic! This sketch is just as hilarious now as it was then. Mike Myers one of the greatest of all time! Nicole was awesome, too!
I wonder if Sunday and Faith have seen Nicole in this?
He is truly a one of a kind comedian! Both the physical and the cerebral. Zany, intellectual, or a combination. Love him!!!
This is where milk comes from for the babies.
I really wanna hug Nicole Kidman in this skit. She was freaking adorable!
If you look closely enough, you can see bush...
@@smartluck100 That’s a weird thing to say

actually he's 6 and infinity...plus one

Yea but shit, all thise kids grow faster and look like grown men off rip . so its actually kind of accurate... Well maybe not if hes almost 7 lol
He's 6 4/5th Icelandic
Really one of the best skits. Makes you appreciate Meyers and Nicole.
Just Myers. Nicole nealy ruined it with that half assed Australian accent. Think she could have practiced for a few minutes?
When you get older people aren't going to support you as much reality happens fast
One of the best SNL sketches of all time.
my dad called me "the hyper hypo" after this sketch growing up. i was a huge spaz.
Classic Mike Myers!
This skit and Brian Fellow will always be my favorite
Is no one going to comment on Nicole Kidman's rug burned knees? ROFL.
Greatness. My absolute favorite SNL skit of all time. I showed a video of this skit to my kids years ago, and they still quote it it me.
The people from the Hyper Hypos Association is not going to take this sitting down.
Wow - almost 30 years ago. And still awesome!
"That was fun."
"Whatever."
I remember watching this with my dad and my friend when I was 12. 90 to 93 were some of SNLs best years.
Yes. Same here. I'd try to stay awake every Saturday night. Funny stuff.
"My mom doesn't believe in it she thinks it's cruel."
"My mom thinks it's very necessary."

I think this is my favourite skit ever. The way Mike Myers acts like the hyperactive kid cracks me up.
Omg blast from the past, I must have been five when this came out. I remember we were camping and watching this on a small portable tv that was so staticky. I laughed so hard when he broke out and started running...😂

Most comedy is. We've turned into a fragile society that can no longer handle humor.
I'm a big Nicole Kidman fan, but this is still one of my favourite things she's ever done. My college roommate and I used to quote this skit to each other all the time
"I love you, you know?"
"I know". That's EXACTLY how kids are. So much confidence. Lol

SO FUNNY and CUUTEE!! Mike is such a really good actor and she is really good too.
This is one of the best SNL skits ever. "YOU'RE THE DEVIL"!!!🤣😂
My favorite Mike Meyer's skit!!!!
I loved this era of SNL
One of my favorite snl skits ever. Mike is priceless. His favial expressions are so good. "You're conceited". Cracks me up. 😂
Crazy how it's been so many years and I've never seen this sketch. Mike is always awesome in his skits of course, I thought I'd seem them all, but happy to see Nicole was also awesome in it.
The older skits were so much better, they hardly ever looked at a cue card to read. The new cast constantly is looking off camera at cards.
so true!! They’re actors!! They should memorize!
I'm not sure if it's snl, but have you seen the Jimmy Fallon "who's on first" skit? He runs it constantly looking off screen. Perfect example.
They've used cue cards since the first episode. They've said they always have and always will.
Everything was better before! Everything Jerry! Everything!
@@christinamata3405 All the skits are soulless. Theres so many where they look in to eyes of the person maby twice in 5minutes, Pretty much sure why people hate that, cos these actors dont even try to memorise and dont give a shit that all skits are garbage(that fake laughter in every skit aint helping)
Best sketch of all time! Looove Mike Myers!
The accuracy of this sketch is beyond belief. Like holy cow you’d think some 8 year olds gave sworn testimonies to help write it.
Always was one of my favorite skits, but after this many years I have a lot of favorite skits.
"You're the DEVILLLL...!"
These two were just so funny together!
I forgot if that was Mike's original SNL skit. Either way, he's stayed calm enough during super-stardom, unlike so many others.
30 years later this is still one of the greatest skits of all time.
I've been trying to find this, I told my Mr how funny it was. Now I can show him, I loved this script!
This is simultaneously the most stupid and brilliant thing I’ve ever seen.
I remember this, i was 10 year old 😆. Love the 90s
One of sweetest skits ever done at SNL.
I just love this skit. Pure writing genius. Micheal Myers was my favorite cast member at this time. From Wayne’s World to Coffee talk with Linda Richman to. Sprockets, Myers was just having a time.
One of the greatest of all time! So glad they posted it, ‘you’re conceited!’
I so remember watching this as a 13 year old.
We couldn’t care less.
One of my all time favorite sketches.
God i loved this one as a kid 😂 still holds up
"you're conceited.." 🤣🤣🤣
When he runs you can see him doing some of his Dr. Evil arm movements when he's talking about a diabolical plan to rid the world of Powers
*_"One time my mom's car ran out of gas, so she gave me a snickers bar and a can of coke. I towed the car home, seven miles. When I got home I was tired."_* 😂
One of the sweetest SNL skits.
Nicole Kidman was so cute in this
The funniest part was the close up of Micheal s face at the end covered in chocolate
One of my favourite sketches ever!!!
