Saint Augustine, Florida
Thank you very much James!
i have had Pepi's pizza and it is everything that they say it is. New Haven is definitely a destination for pizza lovers and they take a lot of care in preparing the pizza and doing things the right way, not cutting corners, fresh ingredients, good job New Haven!
The destination.... Is only Italy
Those clam pizzas look so simply delicious 😋 Great video Mark!
You are doing a awesome job Mark , Lots of Love ❤️❤️❤️
That thin airy crackling sound when you folded it, i almost died, you almost killed me Mark, lol
Wish I was there right now. Looking forward to trying Zuppardi’s the next time in Ct. Modern is my favorite pizza but now I want to try them all again. Great video Mark.
Mark never goes wrong !🔥
Your style of the eating show is undoubtedly awesome !🥰😍😋
Thank you!
Wow! It’s no wonder how these guys make such delicious pies.. the attention and care. Having high standards for your craft will always yield a superior product. Hats off to these guys.
I knew it was a matter of time before Mark busts out the 🌶️ for his slices. The escarole sausage 🍕 looks and I bet tastes insanely scrumptious.👍
Zuppardi's is actually in West Haven which is different from New Haven . They are amazing and the staff is so nice.
Yes, good point made.
I love pizzas, especially the real ones, you can see that the dough is very well done, mmmmhh 🤪🍕
If they were medium size how big is the large? Love it
Jeffrey strikes again, and I love it!
“OH WOW”
I could watch that employee from the first place slice pizza for hours
I am craving pizzaaaaaa so much!
Absolute legend, Mark
Thank you for the videos!
On our way from Philly to Vermont and are currently stopped at Zuppardi’s for lunch. Thank you Mark!!!
How was it 👀
That white clam pizza looks amazing hope Mark can share it, literally. hahaha
MICAH IN BACKGROUND: LET’ME SOME CLAM PIZZA!!!
Love the show, just a very honest review, and can taste that pizza and smell it by the look on your face, this guy is a pro😅
That pizza looks absolutely delicious 🤤!! But so does the pizza maker Anthony 🥵
Pretty sure he was on an episode Naked & Afraid 🤔
Surprised you didn't go to Sally's, that's the best apizza in New Haven.
Sally’s is the best!
He went
That’s a separate video 🙂
Love Sally's
I love your unbridled passion for food, its contagious!
totally missed out on Sally's Apizza
Everone knows the rules
@Disguised Dv8ant imagine taking what the Prez says seriously 😂 one bite, snort another 8ball
@@-EchoesIntoEternity- I mean he isn't wrong, it's the same thing with a burger. It takes a LOT to make a already damn good burger set itself 1-2 points above others.
He replied to another comment and said the Sally's video is coming soon.
takes too much time for a burnt pizza, not worth it bruh
I've eaten this miracle food all around the northeast USA and in Rome and Naples. I can say there are great pies all over the map, but New Haven apizza is next level.
I reported you for blasphemy. New Haven before Napoli or even Rome. Ridiculous...
@@GuitarTuningOnline For a standard pie, maybe Naples, but for any specialty pie, New Haven. I lived in Italy for a year and while the food is spectacular, New Haven style apizza, is next level.
@@geneticrex ähhhh, you talk about pie. I thought Pizza, my bad. And Italy is not Napoli.
@@GuitarTuningOnline Now I understand.......not enough vowels in the name, eh??? It's ok. It's not your fault.
@@geneticrex 1) what u call and nickname "new haven style" in reality is : ROMAN ROUND DISH PIE PIZZA from the origins till 70s 80s when stopped to be trendy and substitute by the actual thinnest / tinnest versions. There are however some differences... Which are all epic American fails : the doughes there in italy are classified as BREAD, The "coal fire" can exist only there... So cancyrogenic!!in italy ahah after 5 minutes of activity.. Nas department locks it immediately .. The "coal" was good as fuel in previous century for ships and trains u know?? Not for food!! In last but no least don't u see the slags, ashes, various garbage / scories... Attacked either on toppings or edge/carriage / pizza base?? Please dude.. Do not compare it with the real Italian excellent nominated HERITAGE OF UNESCO. Compare it may be with other parts of America not Italy
When Mark visit your Restaurant you just made it . I am from Kansas where Mark Dad from and definitely I am going there 😂. Pizza pizza Apiz Apiz Aaaaa 😂
Based on Mark's reaction from every bite, best from first & second restaurant would be the clam pizza, and the sausage pizza from the third restaurant
Wow this is amazing vlog Mark
Was at Zuppardis today. Fresh clam pizza, best pizza in the world! Worth the price, at least once a year!
Great vlog! Now i'm ordering my pizza 🤤
I remember visiting Chicago for business in about 2003, this pizza place that was there since the 20s, was absolutely amazing. It took awhile but it was like art. I can't remember the name and I would definitely make a trip to go back to eat their pizza.
I like to watch you and Jeffery eat, others are out of place
I agree.
Yeah only the recurring characters - Joel and Jeffery. LOL.
I agree , Mark lose the entourage.
Jeffrey reaching over everything gave me such anxiety. Also him eating over the other pizza 🍕 I was like Jeffrey NOoooOooo.
weird....
I was just telling my wife that I wouldn't like that.
Riiight
The lady on the right touched like 3 dif pieces before she picked one 🤦♀️
@@suicidalmaniac3256 yeah I was like why are you touching all the slices🤦♀️
indeed a historical pizza house Mark, thanks for the tour..i really enjoy watching you
Locals know that when you're on Wooster street you go for Sally's over Pepe's. Pepe's is still good, don't get me wrong, but it has lost some it's lustre since they expanded their locations. Sally's, Roseland and Modern are my top 3 in the area.
I think Mark ate more pizza in one sitting here than I eat in a whole year or two. Can you make a video explaining how you eat all this food and don't ever gain any weight?
You know Mark ... When I grew up there was no such thing as pizza. I didn't taste pizza for the first time until I was 14 years old and I loved it.
Hell yeah bro
The best pizzerias in New Haven are: Zuppardi’s and Bar!
Modern, Pepe's, Bar, Sally's, Zuppardi's, Mike's and even Roseland in neighboring Derby are all EXCELLENT pizza joints. You won't get a bad pie at any of them it's really just a matter of which one your taste buds takes to most IMHO
bar is not even close to being the best. modern and sally's are both far superior
Bar is garbage
Bar is good, but it's not in the conversation of Ct.'s top joints.
Damn this video makes me so hungry!
We're supposed to get a Frank Pepe here in Maryland in the near future. Was supposed to open a year or so ago but of course COVID put a stop to that. Now it's back on. I hope to visit New Haven someday; my late parents lived there back in the 60s.
