Truth. The first time I got to 6k was through offlane heros. Abadon and underlord were my faves. They do aight in lane and are just obnoxious to try and kill

How do I know what lane is recommended for each hero? I feel like Dota doesn’t give new players any directions on how to play in a reliable way for your team.
If you're really good player, you can play any hero, in any lane and in any position. That's how complex Dota is.

I have been spaming him mostly as a support won 13 games out of 15
You can even go for a semi carry-frontliner build on him with radiance, crimson, solar crest, pipe etc. So many options on him

First time commenting but been here for a while. What do you think of Pos 4 abadon? I usually run him through 4 and got a good result but would like to ask for your opinion.

I also play Pos 4 Abaddon. It's literally a walking fountain. Just constantly heal your core, and when you're out of health and mana, just deny yourself, tp back and be annoying again. I usually build aether lens for him as a support since his apothic shield has a very low cast range and it is very important in fights especially getting your cores out of stuns or holds.
Been playing Aba as a main for 2 years now. Grinded the hell out of him, from archon to divine. Absolutely love the hero as an offlaner and pos 4. The cool thing about him is that he can come online regardless of role. Pos 5 and 4 works well, you just get less cs early on. However, if you do follow his advice on pushing the lane out here and there, you can get everything that's needed.
Vlads
Pipe can be farmed quite quickly. Ward farm in lower brackets is easier cause everyone tends to ward every common cliff point. Take your sentry mid at 3 min and deward the ramp (pay attention to mids movements)
Rest is history....great hero and goes well with LC (dbl purge) and Undying (once you get vlads ez t2s)

Honestly, a good sign that you're playing well, and also utilising good mechanics at consistent pace... that's when you will reach the next bracket. If you are losing 3 and winning 3, try to really watch what you are doing and change whatever it is that brings your pace down.
Are you pulling at the right times? Are you leeching xp? Pushing correctly?

I decided to watch my own shit and have others that I've met help me out.
Once you reach the 3.5k it gets interesting.
1. You lose a lot and go back to 3/2.7k
2. you start winning more often than not and reach that 3.8/4k margin.
Once you get to 4.5 you're almost divine 1 (4.6k ). Then its maintaining and working on your mechanics, thinking and keeping pace.
They really cover everything well here...
Just a bit from my experience getting out of 2/3k and reaching 4.9k

Abaddon’s flexibility is why I think he’s so powerful in games that can go any which way
ye but i disagree when speed says abbadon execution is easy, because most of the time you have to be aware enough of your situation, who needs debuff, what's ur protection priority etc and all those comes only with experience. There arent much of DP and PL in pubs, reso can chill back abit and have more spare time to observe his backliners because his 2 cores are not easy to be killed. so i dont think he is as flexible when the other 2 cores are less tanky, 1 apotic cooldown is more than enough to burst down most of the carries rn

1. Viper
2. Shadow Demon
3. Invoker quas wex
Slark is the most annoying Safelane against Abaddon. Apothic shield doesn't dispel Pounce and when your Ult is activated, Slark just take it as an opportunity to stack some Agi's.

The previous CoA was the bane of slark and invo. however in lane the worst heroes to lane against with an abaddon are MK, Sven, AM, TB and during team fights i really hate Riki, Silencer and Grim.. lvl25 aba player here

If you would not be a dota player i think you might be a actor,
Because you make good videos with good script and dialogues which makes even sometimes boring videos interesting, also you have good communication skills i noticed.
Sorry just personal thoughts.
If you do that in 2k, you will get 5 man ganked while getting the hard farm, while your team is all afk in jungle. Then, the enemy pushes while your team is afk. If you win a fight, they go back to jungle so curse doesn't do anything. If you lose the fight, the enemy wins because they push while your 4 cores do nothing and you can't kill anyone yourself.
Speeed, what would you do in 3k games as a carry when ur supports and offlaner keeps taking the safe farm , the triangle etc.

Im 6k and i can definitely see what your talkkng about once i played on my smurf 4.1k ppl tend to always farm their side of the map get some couple of wards and play their side of the map near your wards push w8 repeat its that easy even if you die couple of times the time they will need to reach your tower you will respawn

This is exactly how i play post 4 abba...just chill n hang back covering other people asses..but most people expect me to buy wards as if im the post 5..abba support more like providing utility and aura..abba carry post 3 need some lockdown and speed attack to be more effective..different build for different position too..only vlads stay for both position

Abadon is normal hero. Broken is mepo and brood on 10th pick. You can ez kill abadon with SE as LC or Lina... Abadon is great pick if u play as utility (solar+pipe), not as typical core with radiance.
Konrad Kopiec you need both silence and break. He can still manually use the ulti when stunned.

Won 8 of 10 calibration games as Aba pos 5. You save your team all the time so ppl get really pleased. After I started spamming Aba I usaually have around 40-45 commends per 25 matches

build according to the game. only consider basher when u want to stun thru bkb or tping opponents.

Yes! All the spells are amazing on it's own. Q for nuke/heal and denie, W for save/aoe and dispell, E for slow/silence and push towers and R makes you tanky
It's amazing, you're not as good as you used to be at harassing heroes, but still excellent at keeping your carry safe and sustaining hp in lane

@@TheCodenaruto Almost always go radiance if no one else will on your team. Abbadon will stay alive the longest on the team and usually is in the middle of all teamfights. After Radiance it's preference, I ALWAYS go the 20% CD Reduction at 20 so I will usually go items that are needed to beat the other team. Recently, after Radiance I am going Scythe, I think on Abbadon it is an AMAZING item for him, as the int and mana regen allows you to keep up shields and mist coils without ever running out of mana, also sheep is one of the best effects in the game. Other items I go is Silver Edge / Manta / Lotus / Linkens / BKB / Octarine depending on other team comp.

Abaddon is good but in high ranks, it gets countered with a naga or a PL. Its really annoying they just attack u with illu and then losing ur mana. Good in captains mode but shit in pub.

Yeah that hero is good too global presence with ulti and really tanky with items also clears creepwave really easily.Also has a ton of dmg with his passive to lasthit in the early game. You can jist easily mess with enemy's lasthits

AA is not really an Abaddon counter. The only thing AA does is keeping Abaddon from healing while Borrowed time is activated. Eul's Scepter can do that.
