I tried baking soda/vinegar and Draino on my clog; made progress but not total success. Went to the hardware store and got a 25-foot drain snake with a drum auger: bingo. They’re not expensive and are easy to use. That’d be my recommendation.
Old man at Home Depot said quit dicking around with the drain. Remove the overflow drain cap at the top of the tub and run a 20 dollar auger through the overflow. Took a couple tries and I pulled out an anaconda of hair and slime. Clearly the Draino did nothing at all. Always trust the old man in the plumbing aisle!
a few questions: I can' t bring my drain thingie up enough to get the snake down- do I need to get a plumber/handyman to help? (all our drain thingies cannot be removed). 2. I get so grossed out and feel like I can't clean the snake enough so I never want to mess with it- and then where do I store the not 100% clean snake? and last 3. doesnt the boiling water damage the pipes???
I would find that the drain cleaner by itself would never work but then I would hit it once with a plunger and it would instantly be gone. They say not to use the plunger in case chemicals shoot back you. You should definitely be careful and maybe not do it if you're not sure. The plunger definitely does push the whole clog out.
IF i have the money i buy HG Duo 14 euro's for 2 bottles but you have to use both. poor both bottles in (read the manual) let it sit over night next day problem solved 1 time i had to use it 2 times. Drano didnt do sh*t for me. I used baking soda and vinegar also verry good! close second (but i had to use it multible times in a row

Great testings....thank you for sharing..more video like this in the future.
I always get the big draino if not the great value brand. Usually last a couple years

Clean your bathroom at least
If the drain is clogged how are you gonna actually clean it
Plumbers say Drano is AWFUL for your pipes.
Plumbers also say it will cost $800 to replace a $50 zone valve. Never again smh
Lol the draino did work, the combination of all three worked. You can’t say it didn’t work if you didn’t use the baking soda / vinegar first
You realize you have to take the drain stopped out and a longer deeper snake will reach the full pipe lol
Y’all made it so difficult for yourselves
Those cups 😅you still drink in them 😅
Hell yea
@ you a real 🥷 respect 🫡 😂
Be very careful with vinegar and baking soda, it can make clogs worse!!!!!
I put draino on mine and the worthless crap made it worse
I’m a plumber, don’t ever use Drano
