Definitely a great tool to have around the house. Awesome video brother and I hope you and the family are doing great. Great to see a new video from you on this Saturday morning
How do you clear a sink drain with the auger you used on the tub? Do you have to undo the pee trap under the sink or can you go through the sink drain itself with the auger?
Great information Brian. I have been taking the drain stopper out of my tub and just using a little hand snake but one time it got hung and I like to of not got it out my question is it better to go through the overflow?
I feel like you’re less likely to have an issue going through the overflow Britt. At least for me. Unless the clog is right at the cross bars on the drain you will be able to get the clog from the over flow.
look into hydro jetting yourself with your garden hose, a bladder sold by amazon, a intercepter valve, a short extension hose….on you tube here….search do it yourself hydro jetting. Otherwise a hired truck will come and should do hydro jetting for an hour if they charge about $700. But the equipment to do that yourself with your garden hose is less than $40.

Thank you Steve! It’s been a lot lately. Gotta take care of the family first though. I know you understand that.

I do clear sinks with this. I always like to see what is going on it the p trap so I pull it apart.
Very nice brother! Thank you!! Never knew that piece was an overflow. 😮
Thank you. So glad this was useful.
I remember the crane toilet rebuild vid. Why didn’t your order the Fluidmaster rebuild kit
I needed it faster than that.
Oh ok

Whats your drill setting
Low usually.
Always good info!! Thanks
Thank you bro.
I have one of those Augers, but, haven't used it yet with my drill. That was too easy 🤣
They really are easy to use and work well thank you Bonnie.
What is the name of the auger.?
Ridgid power spin plus.
Thank you so much. I unclog my bathtub.
Awesome! So glad this could help.
That thing is cool. I just have the crappy hand crank one
Can you take the handle off yours and hook it up to a drill?
I dont think so
My bathtub drain is clogged and when I use the snake drill nothing comes up…what do you think is the problem and what should I do ???
What part of the drain are you going down?
@@ThatFixItGuy the same one your doing in the video
@@ThatFixItGuyhow do I prevent the drain snake from going up towards the shower head instead of down the drain to where the clog?
