The battery problem is a myth. If you only play one guitar with EMGs active for 5 hours every day the batteries will last even more. My experience.
Fantastic demo! Love hearing the difference in the coil split in a metal tone I can understand! Very very helpful.
Last year I've bought an SC 1000 Harley Benton because of the great looks and out of curiosity if such a low price guitar can play. My Verdict, after a year and a bridge pickup change to EMG 81, is that this is a great guitar with amazing attitude ! Nice video man.

Both look very stylish to me. 👍👏 the yellow is more like the sound I'm used to I think because my introduction into rock and metal started with Sabbath and Deep Purple, Hendrix etc.🔥🔥🤘🤘

I had the custom sc-1000 black with gold hardware 2 years back, now I have schecter hellraiser solo 6. I mean, you can tell the difference BUT for the price you can´t beat the HB, they have great tuning stability, great tone and sustain. They are great for live use, they are solid and hold the tuning well and you don´t need to worry about scratching them because they are really inexpensive!!!

I have the p90 version in black and was shocked at how well it was built for the money.
I just wish they would make the fretboard darker.
I have the 7 fan fret put some fishmans and grap tech ratios and now it's a beast just got the sliver burst gonna do the same thing there great mod platforms if you want a certain body style or string count

I got the sc 1000 in matte black and it’s my number one go to guitar I love it would love to get the white one wish they would make a viper model tho

I was watching videos and photos from the SC cutom white. And I noticed that there's some guitars that have the fretboard darker that this one from the vid. Does anybody knows why is this?

Te zebra pups on the paradise flame one are high output; and do get quite muddy. These are low output, and, to my ears at least, the sound much better in all setups
The grovers cost around 100 bucks alone, this guitar is just insane in value.

Have you tried the WOLF LP models? the really nice one with the tran red finish with ebony chips in the binding is SWEET They very nice and i would put it up against a Gibson any day!!!! Very well made. 1200 buch quality for 500 with hard shell case. Everything is great and if you call them they will actually set it up to your specs before shipping it. you can explain what you want or send them a tech spec sheet and it will be done. Guitar max reviewed one. i'm an older fellow and don't play a lot anymore and i have some nice vintage guitars such as a couple of old telecaster and a 1980 Hamer standard crowned and bound that i bought brand new in 1980. I'm going to sell the Hamer, buy a wolf for a hard tail and then i think i might buy this other tele copy that i have seen . I think it will be a Dean Nash Vegas ( Tele with SD Zebra's and a floyd ) Korean floyd. and sell the telecasters then i'm set for under under 1200 bucks to cover any style unless i want to add a P 90 guitar which i may. walk away with 3 great guitars and a butt load of cash in my pocket. Vintage is great but the new tech and the new guitars that are so competitively priced are also. My friend but one of the wold guitars. Seriously the REAL DEAL. Just got a Wolf a week ago they are fantastic for the money I recommend one but not a keeper for me the neck is too thick but that is a preferential matter other than that I'll give Wolf a five stars.
You should talk to ola and have him send you out a g series to try! By far my favorite single cut of all time

Absolutely phenomenal! I love the EC line as well but the g series blew me away. The neck is super smooth and fast like you would expect more on a super strat, and no baseball bat like alot of single cuts.

I've ordered an SC-1000 last evening, pretty excited for it to arrive! Should come either tomorrow or next Monday. Tbh I'm not expecting much, but I am already prepared to mod the electronics and hardware anyway

I'm not a les paul guy or atleast I havent found one ive wamted yet but honestly I lime those and look really nice for $300 bucks. Honeslty I dont know how Gibson is in business still with lp guitars like Harley Benton, Ltd Ec range and schecter solo style. Just my opinion.

Gibson is still in business,because they exploit their prestigious name and brand recognition,to sell overpriced coffeetables to boomers & hipsters.
Other companies are making waaaay better Les Paul-type guitars for ages,in terms of build quality & ergonomics and for far less money. ESP/LTD,Edwards,Tokai,Schecter,PRS,Kiesel, FGN... the list goes on and on.
A firend of mine,huge Gibson fanboy,got himself an Edwards LP Custom replica and never looked back.
Greekfreak1980 I agree with you 100%. I'm a new player. And I picked up a gibson les paul and I hated it. And it made me think that I hated lp guitars all together. Until I picked up an esp eclipse and really enjoyed it.

They’ve had these models for awhile now but yea they are clearly “inspired” by LTD EC models.

4.9 turbo i own a jackson and it’s pretty good still holding up recommend if you’re starting out and getting your first 7 string

I was pretty disappointed when they stopped selling the sc-1000 in white, these are more expensive and I don't like the shape as much tbh
I wish esp made the eclipses pickups direct mount. And then harley benton could of copied that then I would of bought the white one. To me pickup rings say: CHEAP. idk why. I don't like how they look either.
I completely agree with the pickup ring thing. Not sure what it is either, but I have an LTD MH-1007 Evertune and I recently upgraded the pickups and was really wanting to remove the rings but couldn't due to the direct mount issue :/

You dont need 2 guitars to play metallica and guns n roses you could play shreddy on the vintage yellow as well . In fact theyre both modern les pauls shape you even pointed out the yellow one was lighter so that would be More modern in that sense xD ive just ordered the black and gold one normally i play a vintage v6m24 with a seymour duncan in the bridge Remember randy rhoads used a les paul and had such a fat high gain tone live

Nice looking guitars. IMHO, taking into account that they gave you the guitars for free, you could have done a better job with this demo, especially sound-wise. I also own a HB guitar and it sounds great. Maybe you could have used a better guitar tone, just saying.

@@JamieSlays , I know tone is a subjective thing, and you can't please everyone; Maybe it was because the guitar had a lower volume than your voice, maybe it's because of my laptop speakers, I don't know :D You have lots of videos with killer tones!

Agree. You can EQ and run it through a DAW like this video to even it out, but plugging these into a traditional rig...totally average. Harley Benton are the Epiphones that are a hassle to return if you get a lousy one.
You have no clue how much you are going to regret what you did to your ears in 20 years time.
I think I’ll be ok. I’ve already had them since 2006 :)
