I’ve been going on this ride for years, so it was certainly a shock when I visited euro disney last year and there was inversions and in general a much more intense version than this. Both are great though!
In my opinion, this version sucks. It killed Paris's and Hong Kong's and is very cheap and lazy compared to the love and creativity that the normal Space Mountain's were created with. Whenever this thing comes back, I live in fear that it'll replace the original forever.

Considering we have 3 star wars rides I doubt it.
