I really enjoyed seeing the different colors in rooms already designed and furnished. I noticed and liked the organic and soothing feel to all the decorated rooms. I’d like to know how to combine tiles, floor coverings and fabric colors with these paints. Would be good to identify them as warm, neutral or cool and tell their Light Reflective Value (LRV).
Thanks for the video! We’re considering Benjamin Moore’s Navajo White in our home office, a room that doesn’t receive much natural light. The previous owners of our home enclosure a patio to make a sunroom. Beyond the sunroom is a covered patio. This drastically cut back the amount of natural light our home office’s single window allows in. Our preference is a paint color that won’t look and feel washed out. We want to see some ‘color’ on the walls. Our trim paint throughout our home is a neutral white, so something that looks nice with that. Thank you for any advice you can offer us! (Edited for typos)
Hi there! I compared Navajo to Simply White, also from Benjamin Moore…it would reflect the light more with LRV 89 vs. 78 …it is also a creamy white…perhaps pick up sample to compare if u have the time before you are painting…here is a link to simply white www.benjaminmoore.com/en-us/paint-colors/color/oc-117/simply-white
I'm having the same difficulty. The more I look and compare, the more confused I get. I appreciate the expertise of these professionals though, I've learned a great deal about what to do and what not to do in different areas of the home, natural lighting, illumination, undertones, LRV, etc. I'm on the search for an all-over-the-house paint choice that I can live in. Best of luck to you.
Which neutral color would you pick for a bathroom that has oil bronze finishes and lots of different shades of brown, cream, white black with some pink undertones? I want to calm the beige pinkish tiles on my bathroom floor so they are screaming at me. Thank you.

Hi Lisa, I hope you have the chance to get a new color soon…it’s tough when you are unhappy with a color. Let us know what u end up choosing if you have a chance.
I'm late finding your video, but extremely happy I did. I was indecisive about City Loft. This has helped me take the plunge. City Loft it is.
Oh good! If you have a chance, let me know your thoughts once you’ve lived with it for a bit!

Dated color contractors choice not to offend anyone..
I am having the hardest time picking a neutral color, 🙏
Does the room get a lot of light if so a lighter shade might be too bright…if you don’t have a lot of light….a tighter shade like Polar White

Can u send a pic of the room to happiestplaceishome@gmail.com also is there a lot of light? Thanks for writing in!
I wish you could have shown rooms with no window light coming in!
Good idea…I think we can do that…thank u!
Agree, all these houses are gorgeous and I'm sure most paint colors would look nice. I live in a 1960s ranch with low ceilings
I wonder where blank canvas from Behr would fall in this spectrum of whites

DayBreak is YELLOW! Only looks good at night (very dim light). In a room with a lot of natural light it is a bright yellow. I hate it.
