In my opinion, it's important for the reactors to know about Daybreak's backstory. The Bastau concert video is so often suggested without any context. And the problem is that some reactors are so excited by the performance (and of course there are so many reasons for that) that they jump in their seats, laugh, cheer and shout “cool, great, beautiful” without knowing what the song is about. And to be honest, it's cruel to watch. And sometimes the reactors got bad comments because of that, even though it wasn't their fault because yes, this version is mindblowing. And that's unfair.
Every reactor who saw The Singer version first and then Bastau was so glad they knew about the backstory. You don't necessarily have to watch The Singer version, but a bit more explanation when recommending it would be in order. And every time I'm still in awe that he went on stage despite his pain and sang that song. He once said in an interview that it felt like broken glass in his throat.
Thank you again for your reaction to this song. It shows a little more of Dimash as a person and not just him as a singer.
