Seeing as Sword is coming to the MCU through WandaVision and in 2023 Marvel Studios has an 'ensemble original' coming out I think its safe to assume we'll be getting the FF some time soon. As a HUGE Fantastic Four fan I thought it'd be fun to fancast this amazing family for the MCU, so fingers crossed that you guys agree with my consensus
Nice cast, what are you're plans for the X-Men? Pleas tell us about the marry mutants and who would you cast.
@@daviddyster4145 merry
@@isinganddootherthings4616 Sorry

@@jennajamez1967, Interesting, but you know you don't have to explain which movies or tv shows your actors appeared in. I don't quite agree with your casting.
You seem to have multiple actors on each character. Hell, I had a HELL of alot too (no competition intended), But I want to see your final choices. You know what,, I'll do the same thing you did, just for the hell of it.

@@SmileyySmiley LOL My F4 casting is separate from the X-MEN one hence why some actors appeared twice on both of those fronts(LOL I wouldn't be irked if you had did the same 2 now if I put the same actor up for 2 roles in F4 or X-MEN castings then I'd understand your complaint). As for a final casting its not that serious, but just for kicks here you go-My MCU Fantastic 4 cast:
Supernatural's Jared Padalecki(only cause Kransinki is the fan fav I just wanted to go diff here) as Reed Richards/Mr.Fantastic
The Boys actress Erin Moriarty(same reasons as the John explanation wanted to add variety cause everybody goes with them 2) as Sue Storm Richards/Invisible Woman
Euphoria's Jacob Elordi as Johnny Storm/Human Torch
Tom Hopper from Umbrella Academy as Ben Grimm/The Thing (CGI)
Antony Starr from THE BOYS as Victor Von Doom/Dr.Doom
Tony Todd as the voice of Galactus (CGI)
Watchmen's Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Norrin Radd/Silver Surfer (CGI)/practical effects.
My X-MEN casting would be this-
Professer X: Denzel Washington
Magneto: Giancarlo Esposito
Cyclops: Zac Efron
Logan-Manu Bennett but again I prefer they don't touch the character at all like Jackman is a GOAT
Jean Grey: Emma Stone
Iceman: Deadly Class-Benjamin Wadsworth
Gambit: Punisher's/Westworld's-Ben Barnes
Beast: Liam Hemsworth
Bishop-Ricky Whittle
Nightcrawler: Robert Sheehan from Umbrella Academy
Storm:K.J. Smith from BET's SISTAS
Shadowcat: Saoirse Ronan
Angel: Bob Morley from CW's 100
Jubilee: Lana Condor
X-23: Lindsey Morgan from CW's 100
Mystique: Lily Collins
Rogue: Nina Dobrev
Emma Frost-WESTWORLD's Evan Rachel Wood
Sabertooth: Alexander Ludwig from VIKINGS
Deadpool: Ryan Reynolds
Love the idea of Doom’s origins from post-Ultron Sokovia. You could even fit in the idea of DoomBots by having Victor find leftover corpses of Ultron’s robot army from AOU, and make him re-design them as his own!
Your doombots idea is genius
Jaysun Leblanc Thank you!
Awesome
That is a really great idea. He could harvest the remains of the old Ultron bodies that he finds to first build his own Ironman like armor, then rebuild and repurpose the remaining drone bots to help rebuild the area. Once done, repurpose them again to ct as his personal servants, police, and border guard to stake out his territory.
imkluu Exactly! I think it’s definitely something that could be incorporated in the story if they make Doom of Sokovian origin!
the casting is so perfect and that is how it should be done.
How to do the Fantastic 4 movie?
Take notes from Incredibles.
Too bad the MCU has chosen none of these actors to be the F4
Send this to Marvel right NOW
Pass
Q .
From a book keeping standpoint, in this casting scenario, Montgomery would be a better choice than Efron because his B status lets Disney offer less money as this would be his "break out" role.
This would be a deciding factor when yer blowing money on John and Emily. The same with Leiv, as the majority of his action would be mo-cap / cgi.
(honestly just hearing his voice and not watching the video in the clip you used, it just sounds right. Gruff, and adult, but wise.)
Pretty similar to my own personal fancast for the F4. Although Liev Schreiber isn't my ideal choice to play The Thing, but after hearing you out, I have to say, you're right, he'd probably be a great choice.
My MCU Fantastic 4 cast:
Supernatural's Jared Padalecki or John Krasinski as Reed Richards/Mr.Fantastic
The Boys actress Erin Moriarty, Emily Blunt, or Westworld's Evan Rachel Wood as Sue Storm Richards/Invisible Woman
Euphoria's Jacob Elordi, The Foster's actor Noah Centineo, or CW 100'S Bob Morely as Johnny Storm/Human Torch
Tom Hopper from Umbrella Academy or Jon Bernthal as Ben Grimm/The Thing (CGI)
Antony Starr from THE BOYS or Alexander Skarsgard as Victor Von Doom/Dr.Doom
Tony Todd or Keith David as the voice of Galactus (CGI)
Watchmen's Yahya Abdul-Mateen II or Zac Efron as Norrin Radd/Silver Surfer (CGI)
You're right, Dacre Montgomery would be most apt to play Johnny. He has an emotional range that he showed in Stranger Things that really amazed me. The way he pulled off the character was very detailed and well studied. There is a video somewhere on RUclips with him in an interview explaining the process of getting the character right. Personally, Dacre is an upcoming star with a serious potential as one of the best chameleonic acting. For those who haven't watched Stranger Things, go check it out.
Liev Schreiber is also an interesting choice for Grimm. To be honest I would have never chosen him but now that you've explained his attributes, I can see him easily pulling the role off. I'm mostly intrigued to see him pull off the fun side of the character, the interplay between him and Dacre would be fresh because I've never seen neither actor play something of that unique nature. Good job!
I think who should play human torch is two people might work and also dacre montgomery do a great job as johnny Storm but I want someone else rudy pankow his character is like johnny storm it shows his Goofy and emotional to I think it might but I don't if he going to get cast I actually like him for iceman so leo woodall as human torch at first I don't know who he was then I watched white lotus season 2 he was good I can see him he can guy who wants to have fun and also Regret his actions mean come on marvel he call you
Great casting. But will John Krasinski and Emily Blunt sign on to be in a film series that will take time away from their kids at the same time for months, maybe even years on end? Filming together a smaller project (A Quiet Place) is one thing, filming a superhero movie and being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe at the same time is another.
Well Blunt said in a interview that she's not into superhero movies and Marvel kinda made it clear Krasinski was never ment to be their version of Reed Richards.
Dacre montgomery is perfect for this. This is my cast
Rudy Pankow as human torch he good actor to understand grown-up phase cast rudy pankow for johnny Strom.
OH MY GOD I DIDN'T EXPECT THAT ANYONE THINK THE SAME WAY ABOUT F4 LIKE ME I LOVE YOU MAN
Years ago whenever I first heard about people wanting John Krasinski and Emily Blunt as Reed Richards and Susan Storm I was sold. Their chemistry, acting experience, and look, perfectly fit the characters imo. I really hope they are cast but that's a long shot honestly. At the end of the day as long as the movie is good I'll be happy. We need to finally get a good FF movie. They have been done so dirty with their movies and out of any Marvel team they deserve the best.
Well it’s been done!
Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, and Ebon Moos-Bachrach are The Fantastic Four!!!!
Oh shit these were all my choices as well. I agree with your thing about other fancastings. It feels like they don't get the characters and at worst of times see the F4 only as a stepping stone to Doom v Avengers which is a shame. That being said you really nailed the personalities .
My MCU Fantastic 4 cast:
Supernatural's Jared Padalecki or John Krasinski as Reed Richards/Mr.Fantastic
The Boys actress Erin Moriarty, Emily Blunt, or Westworld's Evan Rachel Wood as Sue Storm Richards/Invisible Woman
Euphoria's Jacob Elordi, The Foster's actor Noah Centineo, or CW 100'S Bob Morely as Johnny Storm/Human Torch
Tom Hopper from Umbrella Academy or Jon Bernthal as Ben Grimm/The Thing (CGI/Practical effects)
Antony Starr from THE BOYS or Alexander Skarsgard as Victor Von Doom/Dr.Doom
Tony Todd or Keith David as the voice of Galactus (CGI/Practical effects)
Watchmen's Yahya Abdul-Mateen II or Zac Efron as Norrin Radd/Silver Surfer (CGI/Practical effects)
The thing I like most about this origin for the FF and Doom is how rock-solid it is. Even with a year of added MCU content, this still feels very plausible. You'd just need to make minor changes to fit the current state of the MCU to make it perfect
Reed, and Susan are perfect to me. I love the idea of John and Emily together as Reed and Susan especially since they are already married and you know that they have chemistry with one another already
Just get this guy to direct the movie
It would bomb
Andrew Garrett in your opinion
@@shinrodanreviews4322 well yes but actually no
Casting its different from directing you know that right?
Directing a movie doesn't work this way idiot
Yeah that’s a cast that would do extremely well on screen, I can see good chemistry between them all too,
Wow! You absolutely nailed the casting for Ben Grimm and Johnny Storm! I love how you’re very detailed in your casting not just who’s a big name or who looks like them.
Emily was also the first choice for Natasha, and was in the running for Captain Marvel - Feige reportedly loves her and wants her in the MCU.
tim rush true! And John Krasinski was among choices for Captain America and loves the MCU
She would be a WAY better captain marvel then Brie
I really do hope that people at Marvel do watch some of the videos made by fans about their upcoming movies and take their opinions into account because this was an Amazing Fancast!👌🏽
Marvel Studios have listened to fans many times before and not just about casting. Their casting director Sarah Halley Finn is an amazing casting director so I think she will see John Krasinski and Emily Blunt.
My fancast for FF:-
Mr Fantastic : John Krasinski
Invisible Woman : Emily Blunt
Human Torch : Dacre Montgomery
The Thing : Liev Schreiber
Dr Doom : Keanu Reeves
Silver Surfer : Alexander Skarsgard
If the MCU wanted to make Peter and Johnny the same age, I think Tanner Buchanan would be a good choice for Johnny. Tanner is not only what people would consider a Hollywood pretty boy, but he is great at acting as shown in Cobra Kai. He’s got the physique, the moves and the looks. He’s also very open to playing a superhero role. I do think Dacre is the best, but if Marvel wanted Peter and Johnny to be the same age Tanner is my choice.
Your understanding of the comic world is amazing and entertaining to watch
You know Matt Bomer is 42 right. He’s actually 2 years older than John Krasinski. And Alice Eve is older than Emily Blunt. So I don’t get why you have them as “younger versions”.
He meant younger than Hamm and Theron, not younger than John and Emily
With hollywood its all about looks. Matt has that youthful prettyboy face making him look younger than John who has that more mature cool dad face. Thats why you see 24 year oods play 14 year olds in riverdale. As long as the actors fit the look of the directors vision without being too far fetched then its all good. I personally feel matt bomer has a Batman look.
I feel bad for actors who get labeled as just “tv actors” or “can’t cary” I agree he wouldn’t fit the role but that label deserves trial. Like everyone deserves a chance.
Chris Pratt was a TV actor before the MCU, who was Dave Bautista wasn’t much of an actor before Drax. TV actors are actually pretty good at adapting to the big screen roles.
Rhys Washington agreed
Andrew Lincoln is an amazing actor as well... He plays Rick Grimes so incredibly well
John, Emily & Dacre are my choices for Reed, Sue & Johnny but I couldn't pick a Ben. You really sold me with Liev Schreiber, though! These four are it for me! Hope we could see this dream cast come true! 👌
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are a necessity
My personal casting is
Rahul kohli as Reed
Gillian jacobs as Sue
Dacre Montgomery as Johnny
Joel McKinnon as Ben
It’s about damn time someone accurately made a fan casting. THANK YOU!!!
Perfect casting 👌 🔥 🔥
Kit Harrington - Senhor Fantástico
Evanna Lynch - Mulher Invisível
Dacre Montgomery - Tocha Humana
Sean Astin - Coisa
Hugh Dancy - Doutor Destino
I don't think people are going to be as fond of the Krasinski/Blunt combo as they think. At least, not if the MCU stays faithful to the comics, because I don't think people are ready to watch America's sweetheart couple have a troubled marriage. I know it's probably a forgone conclusion that they'll be cast as the Richards, but I'm gonna give you my FF pics SANS Bluntski.
Reed Richards - Ryan Eggold (Blacklist): I originally wanted Matthew Fox, but I think at 52, he's just slightly out of the age range. R.E. is the next best thing.
Sue Richards - Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones): I think she's the perfect combination of funny and fierce.
Johnny Storm - Dacre Montgomery (Stranger Things): HANDS. DOWN. I've been saying him for months, and this is the first RUclipsr to get it right off the bat! He's perfect, and he and Emilia would hit it off in a brother/sister vibe.
Ben Grimm - Vin Diesel (Fast and Furious): I think Vin has paid his dues voicing Groot, and could still do it while playing a tough, funny, sympathetic Thing.
Ohh, and as a bonus, Dr. Doom - Mark Waschke (Dark): I KNOW it'll never happen, but I think Waschke's 'Noah' in Dark was just so creepy for the first two seasons (I won't give away what happens in season 3 lol). Plus, being a German actor, he has that perfect eastern block accent. Just sayin'...
MCU Fantastic Four:
Director: Bryce Dallas Howard
Brandon Routh: Reed Richards
Alice Eve: Sue Storm
Lucas Till: Johnny Storm
David Harbour: The Thing
Thank you for understanding why people like Cena should not be the Thing
my man, you are the only person on earth I trust to do fan castings, I know you said you hate them, for a bunch of reasons but you do not fall victim to any of that. I love it dude!
I was a big fan of the FF when I was a kid in the 80s. I've recently discovered digital comics and trade reprints, which makes back issue reading so much easier. So far, I have only read the first 296 editions and don't know much about the modern comics, yet.
From my perspective, Ben Grimm is everything. He is the heart and soul of the FF. He is literally Jack Kirby. If you get him right, any other mistake can be forgiven. His Judaism is well disguised but he is totally New York. Practical considerations aside, the only person who could truly be the Thing is Bernie, Sanders.
Bro! Your thoughts on the actors you picked, and your reasons for those picks, was perfect! I bow to your insights, and your thoughtful roadmap! Funny thing, FF was never my favorite comic, but the previous 2 films left me feeling empty... The FF, and the corner pillar they are to Marvel, HAS to be the next truly great film that needs to be made... It has to be! By the way, you ought to include Ray Donovan, when talking about Liev’s work! That is a showcase for his acting prowess!!!
Great casting. Tweet this shit to MARVEL! lol
Nah. This casting is booboo!
@@I-speak-U-shut-it Look you can do any better. Lol
Reed and Sue 100%
Montgomery as HTorch is great
My tip to Thing?!
KEVIN JAMES (with blue lens😄😄)
Too old....
@@nookarim2528 voice over and mocap. As Ben Grimm in flashbacks or few minutes.
Mr. Fantastic: Darren Criss
Invisible Woman: Saoirse Ronan
Human Torch: Rudy Pankow
The Thing: David Denman
Dr. Doom: Michael Fassbender
These are some really good picks. Consider for a moment Wes Chatham from The Expanse as The Thing. I think he hits the mark PERFECTLY!!! Let me know what you think
Even though I enjoyed this video on your choice of cast, all that matters to me is will MCU's F4 film succeed where past others failed.
The only one I don’t know if I fully support is Dacre Montgomery. He’s a good actor and seems to have a good future in the business but I think there’s still a couple better picks out there. That being said, he’d be a great Dick Grayson in Matt Reeves’s Batman movie and if he were casted there, chances are Marvel wouldn’t cast him too.
the spider-man show he’s actually my second pick for Jason Todd. My first pick is another Netflix lead actor actually😂
John and Emily being cast would be so amazing! It fits so well it's like casting hugh Jackman as wolverine, I just hope they would be up to it.
I love your perfect cast for fantastic four and your logic that goes with it!!!! Really amazing video!
I agree with the actors you chose except for Liev Schreiber. While I would like if he played Ben Grimm, if we are thinking realistically here, with the X-men being introduced into the MCU and Patrick Stewart reprising his role has Professor X, they will most likely try to get Liev Schreiber back as Sabretooth.
They are not bringing him back as Sabertooth and Patrick Stewart was just a one off cameo. They are going for new actors for the roles of Xavier and Sabertooth.
Why is it everyone ignores that in the comic books Susan Storm is a brilliant scientist who's accomplishments are over shadowed by her husbands fame? Her self sacrifice for her family especially for her husband, was one of the things that drew me to the stories of The Fantastic Four.
Last time I checked, she was an actress, lol.
I just did a fan casting as well and we chose the same people 😂😂😂😂
A really well put together vid!!! Cheers!
0:29 Yes I agree with you however there is a creator on the platform Bryan Seeker who does make good fan casts.
2 years later. I still love this.
it would be so weird if Andrew was Johnny especially after NWH lol
john krasinski as reed, his wife emily blunt as invisible woman, taron edgerton as johnny storm, david harbour as the thing. Emily blunt and Taron Edgerton can keep their british accents as they are siblings. Dr doom is the most critical casting choice, as he must radiate confidence, competence, and intelligence with his voice and body language alone. I think either toby stephens or james purefoy would be perfect choices.
You absolutely sold me on Dacre as Johnny. Although Liev is a great choice I can’t get past the distinct age gap with John Krasinski’s Reed. Personally I would go with Sam Worthington as I think he has the right credentials to play Ben but is also of a much similar age.
This is an excellent cast. Thank you for sharing!
My ideal cast:
Cillian Murphy as Reed Richards
Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm
Dacre Montgomery as Johnny Storm
Seth Rogen as Ben Grimm
You have some great ideas and really gave me a new insight into the Fantastic Four that I actually see working for the MCU. You're clearly very knowledgeable on the First Family's part and I like that. And while I don't agree with all your casting picks, namely Johhny Storm and the Thing, by seeing this video I feel like I have a new understanding for these characters. I like to believe that I have a pretty similar Fantastic Four fancast with a couple differences off course. Like a different pick for Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm. But we share the same picks for Mr Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, so that's nice.
I have heard some rumors that they, Krasinski and Blunt, might not end up with those roles so I've been thinking of some alternatives. Like Joseph Gordon Levitt for Reed Richards, as someone else in another FF fancast said.
It saddens me that I share a planet with someone who thinks Andrew Lincoln should be Reed Richards.
Here's my turn in the casting chair:
Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic - Nathan Fillon
Sue Storm/Invisible Woman - Jennifer Lawrence
Johnny Storm/Human Torch - Liam Hemsworth
Ben Grimm/The Thing - Jean-Claude Van Damme
Victor Von Doom - Christoph Waltz
At the least, Waltz has the charisma, intelligence and manipulative nature of Von Doom down to a T, while Lawrence, Fillion and Liam Hemsworth would be on a similar page chemistry and performance wise.
JCVD in the MCU is also something to behold, and I imagine him looking into the eyes of an enemy and giving his catchphrase "It's clobbering time."
My fan cast for Johnny was Rachael Montgomery. I decided that before anybody else cast him. So it’s cool when others cast him. I loved him in ST S3.
Totally did not expect to see myself pop up in this video sat in front of a camera waving my arms around… 😂
I loved how you took an entire hindsight perspective over fancasting in general. Usually people take their favorite actors, lookalike actors or just what would be cool. That said, I have to say I had a few issues with a few choices.
Just to get it out of the way, I do not see Doom being linked to Sokovia working. Zemo, some regular soldier, decrypted Hydra files and found a way to go after the Avengers, and you wanna tell me Doctor Doom, the most egotistical maniac in the entire Marvel Universe, wouldn't have done anything yet?
I say introduce Doom by the blip. Have his mother be snapped and once everyone comes back in Latveria, he can't find her. Have the story be about him uncovering this mystery as a young man, before turning him into the big villain. They could maybe even have some ties with the Kamar Taj to have him use magic to find her.
About Human Torch, I'm a sucker for Chris Evans interpretation so I might be biased, but I think at the very least the actor portraying the character should be able to translate that fun celebrity aspect, and Dacre Montgomery, as good of an actor as he may be, just doesn't strike me in such role. It's the same issue I have with Zac Efron, he doesn't seem to really bring that energy, the difference being that I don't think Zac Efron is a good actor lol (and yes, I have watched his other movies besides High School Musical, nothing that really changes my mind).
I don't quite have an idea for who could be Johnny Storm, but I'd like to see an actor that isn't just a good actor or a funny one, although those 2 are very important, I'd like to see an actor that feels like Robert Downey Jr. felt for Tony Stark mixed with Grant Gustin for Barry Allen. He's a rich playboy that likes the attention and uses that to cover up his struggles because, just like his sister, he lost his father at a young age and got superpowers, but he has to go through the arc of growing up, where as his sister already developed that sense of maturity by herself.
And last but not least, The Thing. As much as I love Liev Schrieber and would love to see him again as Sabretooth, along with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, I don't think he fits Ben Grimm. One of the main things I look for in that character is his voice, he has to sound like that big rough man in the back of the bar. Liev just seems so soft and his screams don't evoke enough of that heavy presence.
Honestly, I think John Goodman would be perfect for the character. Not only he has that size to give that large impression, but also his voice is outstanding. Him lending the voice similar to how Vin Diesel does for Groot would be the best way to do the character. The only disadvantage I could see is his age, where I think he might not have that much mileage for a 10 year contract, but if he was casted, I'd say it would be worth it.
All these castings sound good to me, it would have been really nice to hear who you would’ve casted as Dr. Doom.
Tremendous video mate. I'd like to hear your thoughts on who you'd cast in a Marvel X-Men film.
These are great casting choices. I agree with you.
Wow.dude, this is awesome. I had the idea for dacre the moment I watched him as billy and im just glad to finally see people who had the same thoughts. Your pick for ben...👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿 is just lovely.
I think the fantastic four doesn't need an origin. I think we have seen it all before. We need what Hickman brought to the FF and we need them to not be the first family but a strand in the weave of the new MCU. I want them to have been lost in space for years. They were the test project in the 90s for sword. They should get found in space trying to get home. I want them to get back having had Frankland and Valara. Maybe even have them collect a few other characters for the future foundation. This would give them links to X Men put them in A V X and young avengers
Your choices are flawless!!
You deserve more subscribers like millions of them i swear
Really like these choices
One thing I will say when it comes to fancasting TV actors is that the MCU in particular does have an unusual approach to casting actors and directors. Yes, a lot of those fancasts don’t understand how Hollywood works, but Hollywood doesn’t work the same way that Marvel Studios works. They have a knack for hiring unconventional choices, especially from the indie movie scene and the TV realm. After all, the Russos were from TV, Joss Whedon was from TV. Most of the big MCU stars were B or C list actors upon their hiring. So I don’t know if that’s reason to throw out those picks right away.
I definitely would love to see your FF story video
I think Jack Black could play a perfect "The Thing". He's incredibly wholesome, friendly, and I really think he can pull off the brother dynamic he has with Johnny. I can picture Zac Efron or Montgomery's Human Torch pulling a prank on Black's Grimm, and them tussling over it, but also The Thing mentoring the Torch and teaching him concepts of humility, and eventually being the one to cry over a sacrifice the Torch will make. I also see the own character for Jack Black's The Thing really pulling through with him trying to find love and fighting for his family.
This is is amazing fancast, I hope Sarah Finn watch this
i was on the edge about emily and john, but you sold me, it almost seems too perfect
I agree that RUclips fancasts are pretty terrible and I must say that out of all the RUclips fancasts out there, this video is by far the best. That being said, there is always potential for error. For example, while I do think Dacre Montgomery is absolutely a perfect fit for Johnny, I also think there is a dangerous potential for type-casting within all of these choices. Actors like to challenge themselves and try new things. In this cast, Krasinsky and Blunt would practically be playing characters that are very similar to their Quiet Place/Jack Ryan roles, even down to the relationship between them. Additionally, it's important to remember that Krasinsky is moving more towards the directing field. Nonetheless, I have no doubt in my mind that the actors you chose would do really well in the roles. In the past, I've considered Teresa Palmer and Andrew Garfield for the roles of Sue and Reed. They've played lovers before but not parents, so they have chemistry but also room to grow. They have each experience headlining blockbusters, but they've never played scientist/explorers. Plus, they're the right age. I think they'd fit Marvel's agenda. I won't dispute Dacre whatsoever, but I always throw out this idea for Ben Grimm: Ryan Gosling. It's controversial and strange given how much of an A-List/Handsome actor he is, but under layers of CGI, I think he could bring Ben to life really well. Don't expect anyone to agree with me, but yeah. Anyway. Solid video, as usual.
My MCU Fantastic 4 cast:
Supernatural's Jared Padalecki or John Krasinski as Reed Richards/Mr.Fantastic
The Boys actress Erin Moriarty, Emily Blunt, or Westworld's Evan Rachel Wood as Sue Storm Richards/Invisible Woman
Euphoria's Jacob Elordi, The Foster's actor Noah Centineo, or CW 100'S Bob Morely as Johnny Storm/Human Torch
Tom Hopper from Umbrella Academy or Jon Bernthal as Ben Grimm/The Thing (CGI/Practical effects)
Antony Starr from THE BOYS or Alexander Skarsgard as Victor Von Doom/Dr.Doom
Tony Todd or Keith David as the voice of Galactus (CGI/Practical effects)
Watchmen's Yahya Abdul-Mateen II or Zac Efron as Norrin Radd/Silver Surfer (CGI/Practical effects)
@@jennajamez1967 You make the same misstep that is talked about in the video. TV actors are not movie stars. If you have to identify them by a TV show, and not a movie they're in, they're not a movie star. Don't mean to sound harsh, but the fact of the matter is, especially with a larger cast, Marvel will cast movie stars. Look at Eternals. Shit load of heavy hitters. And you could argue that that's because no one knows those characters, but most audiences have no clue who any of these people are beyond Spidey, and maybe Cap. So they won't cast unknown actors as unknown heroes. Otherwise, what's the point?
@@BrickMania2 Well let's look at MCU casting history Tom Holland I had no clue who TF he was when he got casted, Chris Pratt
came from a TV series, Sebastian Stan wasn't exactly known before accepting the role of Bucky Barnes, he had a few appearances on different shows like Gossip Girl and short roles in films like Rachel Getting Married and Black Swan. He was certainly a working actor, and he actually got work in some critically acclaimed films, but he wasn't getting any big roles. Outside of the UK, Tom Hiddleston was a complete unknown before he look the role of Thor's scheming half-brother Loki.Clark Gregg has been in the acting business since the late '80s, but you probably never would have heard of him if it wasn't for his role as Agent Phil Coulson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hayley Atwell had quite a career in the UK starring in a lot of British miniseries and TV movies, but she didn't reach a larger market until she appeared as Agent Peggy Carter in Captain America: The First Avenger. Before Guardians of the Galaxy, no one would have ever expected Dave Bautista to be a good actor, let alone have comedic chops. And don't get me started on RDJ how the MCU saved him. So no your wrong MCU has a history of casting TV actors. Now are you right in that a actor with previous film credits may have an advantage in being cast 1st sure. But in the end of the day MCU casting casts the best actor in these major roles whether there were known for there TV chops of film/theater chops regardless
Jenna James Jenna James every person you’ve listed, save for Holland and Pratt, was not a lead. And with Holland, who by the way was known for his time in Billy Elliot, Marvel was intentionally seeking to cast an unknown. It’s Spider-Man, he’s iconic enough that people will come out to see him regardless of who’s playing him. Yes, Stan and Hiddleston are now leads in their own right, but these movies propelled them there. And to say Pratt was cast as Star Lord because of Parks and Rec is baseless. It’s far more likely that his roles in Moneyball and Zero Dark Thirty, which are credited with propelling him into Hollywood, are what got him cast. James Gunn was the one fighting for Pratt, so I would guess that Pratt’s role in Movie 43, a film Pratt and Gunn both worked on, played a larger role than a TV show. You honestly can’t tell me that you think the Fantastic Four are on the level of a Peggy Carter or a Coulson. Who’s on the center of the poster, and who’s in the background?
@@BrickMania2 This is F4 ain't known of them UNKNOWN roles TF are you even spewing or trying to argue about my guy. With the exception of Hopper, Morely, Moriarty, & Jacob Elordi everyone else I listed fits the so called MCU casting criteria your talking about. And even then the some of them fit your criteria with some loopholes but besides the point your logic for them not being suitable is total BS my guy. Its as simple as this whether your a TV actor or movie actor MCU will cast the best person for the role regaudless. There are exceptions like you said with 'ETERNALS' but other than that nothing else in the MCU. Jared is well known for his years doing SUPERNATURAL so I don't know WTF you're talking about that he doesn't have enough CLOUT or whatever BS your saying that wouldn't give him that role or any other MCU lead for that matter, Erin Moriarty is getting alot of fam off of the BOYS and Evan Rachel Wood has done alot of other roles outside WESTWORLD, same with Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. I'm not even going to waste time on the rest of the list cause its the same evidence I'll be spewing. Did you even really look at my list of actors b/f spewing that BS statement. Look make your own fancast and leave me the F alone.
Great work!
I've never read complete runs on the F4, but I've always regarded them as central in Marvel. I fondly remember two stories with them being involved, specially through Franklin Richards:
-Onslaught: even though over-convoluted, I liked how Franklin was so important for Onslaught to overpower himself and Reed working with the X-Men and the Avengers to stop him. This story could be a major movie putting together several teams and not being necesarily an "Avengers" movie.
-Earth-X: love how Reed dooms Earth and how Franklin becomes Galactus. I think this storyline should be the END of the MCU, bringing back the under used Celestials. Obviously some continuity would have to be altered, and also characters added, but it's as epic as it gets.
Maybe establish from the first F4 movie that Reed and Sue are already married and have a baby/kid Franklin (who we all know is a mutant)? Also, the Future Foundation with Spidey would rock! These ideas could close gaps in the MCU. Though I know Franklin (and Valeria) are not THE fantastic FOUR...
The next step after Krasinski and Blunt is Jason Sedekis and Olivia Wilde
This is it. Perfect. Doom needs to be endgame level villain with Joker depth. Zac Efron needs to plat two face
I like the Dacre as human torch fan cast, i think Rudy Pankow would be good too.
I’ve already seen this fancast done a thousand times. Liev being the one difference. Was hoping for something more original after all the comments made at the beginning of the video...
He comes across so arrogant and rude at the beginning and then goes on to say virtually nothing that hasn’t already been said in tonnes of videos
@@TheLawrencew090 Nah, but he's making strongly well-made points as to why it should be them as the characters, like he's right about Ben Grimm being way more than just a huge rock monster and how much more depth he has, and bringing somebody like John Cena, Dwayne Johnson or Terry Crews doesn't give him the nuance he should have, same thing for Johnny Storm, in which I would take Dacre Montgomery over Zac Efron any day of the week
Seriously. Came here to say that.
Love all your cast wish it would come true..... Especially Jonny... Zac Efron should play Adam Warlock or adult Nova..
I think Alexander Skarsgard should be Adam Warlock
Is there a certain actor you have in mind for Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom in this version?
Finally a Ben Grim fancast i like
Really great video. Loved every minute
Dacre Montgomery is perfect for Johnny's role
Man, excellent breakdown!
A lot of hate in the beginning of the video and then picked some super easy choices, hmm...
That is perfect 😍 Dacre Montgomery he become to Johnny Storm human torch fantastic 4️⃣ 😊❤
Pretty damn solid picks, man. I like it!
This cast would be great, they have great experience with action movies, and know a little bit of comedy, and the roles of both mr and Mrs fantastic, its just slot on
You won me over with this storyline , i would love to see that actualised on the silver screen
If Andrew become Human Torch it will be confunsing for those who dont understand the Multiverse!
I totally agree with your casting choices !
He did it so well tho...
LOVE this video
The casting is *PERFECT*
I'll be honest, I really want to see the first Fantastic Four film in the style of Captain Marvel, in the sense that it will be a period piece set in the 60's. That way the Fantasic Four can be Marvel's first super hero family, but get stuck in the Negative Zone and are basically forgotten until being released in modern time.
I also want to add- Liev Scrieber, I also thought he'd originally be a great pick for Norman Osborn (firstly because of his role in Manchurian Candidate. I mean, come on. If you haven't seen that movie- his charisma when he gave speeches just reminds me of how Norman Osborn is. Then on the other side you got his performances as Sabertooth, or the agent in the movie Salt)
Oh my, Dacre was my first choice for Johnny too #taste
If they don’t cast John and Emily we’ll riot
