Dacre Montgomery playing off of Tom Holland as the "babies" of their respective teams would be incredibly amusing to watch
I always see Johnny as like the cool college aged older brother Peter never had
As long as he doesn't have his Aussie accent.
@@jamesdeziel1468 Same here. That's why I would cast Zac Efron if I had my way. He already proven he has the comedic chops to play the cocky pretty boy in the mcu, but he also shown that he can do drama as well. I think Zac Efron would be a perfect choice in my opinion; especially if Emily Blunt is cast as Invisible Woman because he looks like he could be her younger brother.
Razh 80 Oh yeah Cudlitz has been my pick for a while I was glad to see him pop up im this
yes. plz. i need this.
Dacre Montgomery is legit my only choice for Johnny Storm
@@Jay-Da-Giant zac would be approaching 40 by the time they make an FF movie sadly :/
Akshay Peddada no
@@thesuperframe hey I'm a big fan of your channel. You two are the best fan casters I've seen
Maybe Dylan O'Brien
Bruh seriously! I screamed when I heard him say that because he is so damn perfect for the role!
I really like Michael Cudlutz as Thing. It's never crossed my mind, but he's perfect for it.
Yeah I agree that was a tremendous choice
While I do think he'd be perfect, I also think some good alternative choices would be actors Ethan Suplee or Ryan Hurst who were both in Remember the Titans but when I see their later careers they've proven that they have the acting skill, and can play into a great friendship with the other characters.
@@osmanyousif7849 my choices are Liev Schreiber for Ben Grimm , Matt Bomer as Reed Richards, Dacre Montgomery as Johnny Storm either Alice Eve or Lily Rabe as Sue Storm (watch her in America horror story the house season you can see it there)
Can you do Inhumans casting at some point? Like Black Bolt, Medusa, Karnak, Goron, Triton, Crystal, Auran, Inferno, Ms. Marvel, and Maximus for example and maybe even for Lockjaw.
That series sucked
@@ozojitobechukwu3694 i know, but a reboot in the MCU would be nice.
Yeah
Excuse me but he was also in band of brothers, and mighty ducks 3. He’s perfect for this role
They could be brought in during future Fantastic Four movies too so...
I'd say Vin Diesel as Black Bolt. Lockjaw has to be a comedian who has chemistry& timing with Black Bolt, like Seth Rogan, Jonah Hill or Kevin Hart or something. I'd say Joanna Brewster for Medusa
Dude you seriously need to be hired as a casting director because these choices are better than ANYTHING I’ve heard in the past.
Please let Dacre Montgomery be Human Torch he will be so perfect, he's young and marvel should cast new face as Human Torch
Yes! 😃
Zac Efron 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Personally I want him as Wolverine but he would still be a badass Human Torch nonetheless
@@runny516age Keanu Reeves
@@caedus7757 to old
John and Emily would be perfect! However if they were to say No I like your Alternates!
I just don't think marvel should cast two married people together as a couple, especially when it'll be a multi movie contract. If I was to keep one it'd be Emily as sue.
Vincent Vega how does that not make sense? Please tell me?
@@cameronplaystrumpet6777 in case they break up or have a divorce which would make filming awkward. You know the saying "don't shit where you eat"
@@CD-603 I'm pretty sure they won't get a divorce. Also, I have seen actors who went out but broke up then starred in the same movie as love interests again. And like I said I'm pretty sure they won't get a divorce.
@@x-menlol1613 ya i think theyre happily married. But things can change. I just think it would be risky to cast two people married together in such important roles over a multi movie deal. Just In case something happens
Dacre Montgomery would be an amazing Johnny Storm. I think Chris Evans did a good job, but I actually had a hard time buying into his relationship with any other member of the team. Chris Evans' version seemed almost off-putting, like the others were just barely tolerating him throughout the movies. Dacre Montgomery's character in Power Rangers literally starts out that same way and bonds with the rest of the characters throughout the movie. If they follow that same kind of arc, he would play the role perfectly.
IDK, I feel like Evans & Chiklis were perfect together, like Downey & Ruffalo or Stewart & McKellan. Johnny being off-putting is what made his potential sacrifice so impactful IMHO
They were pretty good, actually. The thing that really bothers me about Johnny's relationship with the rest of the team is actually his relationship with Sue. That scene you're talking about at the end of Silver Surfer is one of the things that bothers me the most. Maybe it was a direction choice and not an acting choice, but Johnny literally sees his sister is dying / dead and we don't get a whole lot of emotional response. His fight with Doctor Doom should have been a lot less quips and more primal rage over the fact that this dude JUST THREW A SPEAR INTO HIS SISTER'S CHEST. Johnny was such an impulsive, emotional character that having that moment be his moment of clarity and control just rubbed me wrong.
Also, while we're talking about amazing superhero duo chemisty, we can't just ignore McAvoy and Fassbender. Say what you want about those prequel movies, but I think they had just as much chemistry as Stewart and McKellan
Patrick Doyle Evans and Chiklis were the ONLY good casting of those films. I thought Reed and Sue were badly miscast. I pity the awful experience Jessica Alba went through, there was an instance where they CG’d tears for a scene where Sue cried because Alba couldn’t cry. And the director rudely told her they’d pay money for her CG tears. I remember seeing the 2005 film ice and never recognized Chris Evans, so when 2011 came when the trailer for Captain America came out, I forever associated Chris Evans with that character. He was amazing as the character and gave amazing performances in all his 9 MCU films!
@@uscman I heard a slightly different version of the story where Jessica Alba said she did cry for the scene, but the director told her she looked ugly when she cried like that and to just sit there and they'd CGI in the tears so she'd be "crying pretty". Either way, I think she was definitely treated badly.
Also, apparently the suit for Chiklis was so miserable that they were worried daily about him getting heat stroke and passing out so they would take off part of it just to hose him down with water to cool him off.
Roni Blackthorn no, you’re right about that version of Alba crying! And about Chiklis, and they changed his costume in the sequel so he could breathe better.
Alice Eve could be either Sue Storm or Emma Frost, but as long as she’s in the movies I’ll be fine
Eva Green could be a great Emma, assuming she isn't actually being cast as Nightmare.
I've always thought Alice Eve would be a great Sue Storm. She'd definitely be the next best choice after Emily Blunt.
Didn’t even think about Dacre for Johnny, he’s perfect. Michael Cudlitz is a great choice too. Love these videos.
Damn I never thought of Micheal Cudlitz as The Thing and now he’s my #1 pick for him.
While I do think he'd be perfect, I also think some good alternative choices would be actors Ethan Suplee or Ryan Hurst who were both in Remember the Titans but when I see their later careers they've proven that they have the acting skill, and can play into a great friendship with the other characters.
Cillian Murphy or Rufus Sewell as Doctor Doom.
Either would be great, though I think Rufus has the more domineering feel that Doom needs. Cilian should still be an MCU villain though, maybe Mr Sinister or Proteus from the Xmen
Those are good choices. The trickiest part about Doom is his powerful personality. He's the type of man who commands attention just by walking into a room. The actors who previously portrayed him just didn't have that gravity, that force. But the ones you mentioned could portray that power.
I always thought Rufus Sewell as Ra's Al Ghul would be great
@Ben Magnez
He was in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises.
Wow Rufus Sewell is a great shout! You only have to watch The Man in the High Castle to see how perfect he'd be!
Cudlitz was also extremely stern and aggressive with comedic moments in Southland where he lays an LA cop, love this casting
Love your pick for Johnny! I think Dacre would be perfect, plus he needs to be best buds with Tom Holland’s Peter Parker and I could buy that with him
Who would you cast in an Old Republic era star wars show/film?
I’ve had this pipe dream of Letitia Wright for Revan for a while now.
Keanu Reeves as Revan and Sandra Bullock as the female
@Ben McLastnamé Tom Hardy would do a fantastic Canderous Ordo tho
I would cast Keanu Reeves Scarlet Johnson And Lettia Wright
@@DarthCaedus7 second of all Wakanda forever
Michael Cudlitz was someone I never thought of until now, and now I can't unsee it, he just seems like a perfect fit. Even though he's a TV actor hes from The Walking Dead and they pulled Danai Gurira to play Okoye is it's not totally out of this realm
Yes! I’ve been saying for years just how good Michael Cudlitz would be as The Thing. Also, I think Justin Hartley would be great Human Torch.
First time I've seen Michael Cudlitz mentioned, and I think it's an excellent choice. Loved him all the way back to the show "Southland", and he definitely delivered on TWD.
John Krasinski as Reed Richards
Emily Blunt as Sue Storm
Sam Clafflin or Dacre Montgomery as Johnny Storm
David Denman or Las Alonso as The Thing
Nikolaj Coster-Waldeau as Dr. Doom
Willem Dafoe as Annhilus
Just my fancast y'know
Finnick as Johnny Storm is perfect.
Zac Efron as Silver Surfer
Claflin is a bit old for Johnny
Camden, I might be in love with you hahaha. Those are literally the same picks that I have. I thought maybe I was the only one rooting for Denman.
@@sreenivaskamath4243 Yeah I definitely do agree that he's different for the role which is fine because Dacre Montgomery's my personal second best.
Even though Emily Blunt is a fantastic choice, I
personally would love to see Rosamund Pike as Sue Storm.
Michael Cudlitz had me SHOOK. Legitimately the PERFECT choice. His work in Southland really showcases the ability to balance the dimensions of Thing as a character. *chefs kiss*
I think Scarlet Johansen is the perfect pick for the whole cast
She is black natasha widow. Are you trying to joke around to make her playing 2 different characters
Play by the same actor
@@ninjasolarteam it’s a joke 😶🌫️
@@ninjasolarteam I really hoping you're really young or are being sarcastic
Why? None of the F4 are Asian.
Johnny should be around Tom Holland’s age, they are quite close friends in the comics.
Dacre Montgomery is around Tom Holland age.
The ultimate Fantastic Four fancast was back in the 80’s: Jeff Goldblum, Sigourney Weaver, Kevin Bacon & Arnold.
Dacre was a good one! I can see him as Emily's little brother too!
Matt Bomer could play literally anyone, he's just amazing.
Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, Reed Richards, Tony Stark, etc.
This dude makes casting so easy which in reality it isnt.
I can't wait to hear who you cast as Doom though. I feel his casting is pivotal and needs to resonate iconic
I feel like Tom Cavanagh could've made a great Mr. Fantastic in this scenario. Slightly older, can be loving and really show intelligence but also have the possibility of going darker when needed. Maybe he's an actor who's been overlooked in these recastings and could be utilized somewhere else? He could probably do a decent Dr. Doom as well based on his more menacing parts in flash?
No just no cos we can't take him out of dc
@@day.jedi1I mean, I love him in DC. At the same time I'm kinda sad that he gets overlooked since I consider him to be great and would like for him to be appreciated on a greater stage
I have to say man, your casting videos are THE most on-point I've seen. Nearly every casting you've come up with have been spot on
Thank you so much Bryan seeker for making the fancast of the fantastic 4 I would love to seeing the villain for the next video
First off I love these choices. Alice Eve and Michael Cudlitz was my choices for Sue and Ben years ago. I still love Emily and John as Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman. But I wouldn’t mind Matt Bomber and Alice Eve. Dacre is perfect for Johnny. I really love your fan cast!!!!
Awesome call on Cudlitz, long been a fan of his work, and I agree he would be perfect.
Matt Lanter - Senhor Fantástico
Katrina Bowden - Mulher Invisível
Dacre Montgomery - Tocha Humana
Joe Manganiello - Coisa
Topher Grace - Doutor Destino
Great choices as usual man, never thought of Abraham to play The Thing but it fits really well
My Fantastic 4 fancast:
Reed Richards: Penn Badgely
Sue Storm: Lily James
Johnny Storm: Mitchell Hope
The Thing: Liev Schreiber
I feel like if Marvel doesn’t do John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, that’ll be more shocking then whoever they cast.
Agreed. Especially since they both were already seriously considered for major MCU roles (Cap & Black Widow) in the past.
I know the fans will be disappointed but I trust marvel with whoever they cast I mean they know what they’re doing but still though I wouldn’t mind seeing Krasinski and Blunt for the parts
I don't think they'll go that route, Emily Blunt has already shown disinterest in the roll
What about Sean William Scott as Johnny Storm?
I hope they don’t I’m tired of that fan casting already
Diego Luna as Reed Richards
Jamie Chung as Sue Storm
Ludi Lin as Johnny Storm
Seth Rogen as Ben Grimm
Cool picks. Im loving your choices.
At this point if it's anybody but John Krasinski for Reed Richards people are gonna flip lol
If it's Not Krasinski and Blunt then I would say alice eve would be a great sue storm. And I like all the cast choices here except I would like to see Michael C Hall as Reed Richards. Reed should be a little awkward. Krasinski will be what audiences want. But if anything he has too much leading man appeal. IMHO Reed should be a little bit awkward.
Fans can't help themselves telling Marvel..if you don't choose who we want, we're not watching.
@@jamespope7669 Then don't watch lmao. As if people who fan cast are the majority.
I know I’m in the minority but I really don’t love that casting
Nailed it with Dacre!
Billy Crudup as Reed Richards
Eliza Coupe as Susan Storm
Dacre Montgomery as Johnny Storm
Liev Schreiber as Ben Grimm
You’re a bit of a legend man! Casting directors have to be taking note of this channel. One of the few RUclips channels where I actually go...oh cool let’s see what he throws out there?!
Loving the content brother!
I’d love to see who you’d recast for some classic standalone movies like Saving Private Ryan or Gladiator or The Shawshank Redemption.
Hope you have a great day and keep doing what you’re doing!
I’m going with Cole Hauser as Ben/The Thing. Watch him in Yellowstone and tell me he wouldn’t be perfect.
I also think some good alternative choices would be actors Ethan Suplee or Ryan Hurst who were both in Remember the Titans but when I see their later careers they've proven that they have the acting skill, and can play into a great friendship with the other characters.
Every single casting option here was A+ in looks and acting ability. I agree about John and Emily and was DELIGHTED to see Matt and Alice as your backups. Dacre is perfect and CUDLITZ IS ABSOLUTELY INSPIRED. another excellent video!!!
Dacre is a great choice. Didn't even think about him.
Can't unsee Dacre as Johnny anymore.
I've heard some people say Dwayne Johnson be Ben Grimm (because the Rock and such), but Brendan Fraser sticks out to me as being able to do both rugged and soft. Also, being Jewish is a big part of Grimm's character, and Fraser isn't unfamiliar with that territory.
Can people in DC also be in Marvel?
I respectfully disagree with you saying that being Jewish is a big part of Ben's character. It wasn't really mentioned before Dan Slott did a mini series in 2005 or so. Given the character has been around since the 1960s I'd say it's some added flavor at best.
Alan Russette it was actually in in Fantastic Four, Vol. 3 #56 August 2002, which I know is only a few years earlier but I think it’s worth mentioning because Ben’s Jewish heritage was confirmed when it was by the writers at least partially as a nod to Jack Kirby’s Jewish identity and his affection and attachment for Ben as a character. So I would respectfully argue that it’s at least important enough to be considered in casting and character for any movie. And why not have more Jewish rep on screen, I’m sure they would be tasteful and subtle about it. It’d be a respectful nod to the ever growing history of the character and the man who brought the series to life.
Here’s a cute little Hanukkah card Jack Kirby himself drew of Ben! The blurb below it has a little history about Fan4 volume 3 too.
flic.kr/p/8XoK9e
@@hambone.fakenamington I don't dispute the connection to Kirby whatsoever. My point is that it's a gross exaggeration to say it's a "big part" of his character. It's a fairly recent addition in the grand scheme of things. Ben has a lot more depth than he's ever given credit for. For example, he's always written like a lunkhead jock, but in order to be a test pilot with the US military, he would have been required to have (at bare minimum) a bachelors degree in Mathematics or Physics. That's not something a lunkhead could pull off. I'm not overly partial to the ethnic/religious background of whoever gets cast; however, he'll need blue eyes (or have to be very comfortable with blue contact lenses).
Alan Russette I never said it was a big part, I’m not the op I don’t speak for them, my point was that it’s at least worth bringing into his character in any films. Ben has a really rich history and a really interesting childhood and life and if they want to give credit to those aspects of him they should give credit to his more recently (nearly 2 decades ago so not that recent, come on) added history. It means something to kids and adults who have grown up with him recently and it means something in general to an entire community of people to be represented by a really phenomenal character and not another stereotype. There’s also something to be said for casual representation, his faith doesn’t have to be a huge plot point or character arc, but like I said they can handle it subtlety.
A Jewish person’s entire character isn’t wrapped up in being Jewish, so Ben’s wouldn’t be either - he would still have his other traits, I always see Ben, especially pretransformation as a classic Older Brother/Best Friend type, he’s fun and nice but responsible enough to pull his act together, he’s been around even at a young age, he’s there to look out for you, he can still have all that depth with a Menorah somewhere on his mantle or something. Honestly I don’t think they could get away with completely washing it away because a lot of fans do care about the recently added history that has been accepted as canon in pretty much all following media. Especially when it comes to representation for any kind of diversity that Marvel already lacks, and with certain nasty opinions rising again with certain unsavory groups, Jewish people also deserve that representation. So like I said - important enough to consider when casting and writing Ben.
I agree with the blue eyes, he should also hue on the light auburn hair side imo (if they do an origin story which I can’t see how they wouldn’t, they need a better take than the 2 we got). Not quite ginger but a light warm reddish brown.
Edit: I’m sorry this was so long, lmao I hope you can tell Ben has been one of my fave character for 20-something years.
Loved Alice Eve in Iron Fist. Collectively the group has model-level looks that turn me off but can't deny they all have the acting chops.
Fant4stic list! I'm really glad I came across your channel. Keep putting out great, fun, content!
You hit the nail on the head everytime!!
Love This Series Soo Much Great Choices ❤️
Given that Spider-Man is appropriately aged at around 16 in high school, I hope they do the same with Johnny Storm, instead of casting him with a 30-something actor. In fact, given that there's usually 2-3 years between movies, they'd behoove themselves by casting him even a bit younger than that.
Excellent choices!!!
These were spot on brotha and Reid Richards was an amazing choice def would love to see this
This video was released in 2020. Now it's 2022. Things have changed now.
In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness John Krasinski was Mr. Fantastic which is a suprise to all of us fancasters. Now with the MCU F4 reboot coming in 2024 here are my casting choices for each of the F4 members.
Elizabeth Lail as Invisible Woman
Rudy Pankow as Human Torch
Jason Segel (he's jewish) as The Thing
If Krasinski doesn't come back as Reed I want Penn Badgley, Jamie Dornan, or Brandon Routh as Mr. Fantastic
I'd love for Michael and Dacre to ben and Johnny. That's be perfect along with John and Emily.
Bro I swear I had subscribed years ago looking at your shoe reviews but this is a nice surprise
This was probably your best casting yet...I actually like your picks for Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman better than the internet fan favorites.
What i'd give for cutless to be cast as the thing and after his transformation occurs for him to proclaim after looking in a mirror the first time....."Dolphin smooth!"
Reed Richards/Mr Fantastic: John Krasinski
Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman: Emily Blunt
Johnny Storm/Human Torch: Dacre Montgomery
Ben Grim/The Thing: Michael Cudlitz
You should be a casting director, as I totally agree with your first and second choices.
All the casting here is perfect! Especially Michael Cudlitz as the Thing will be perfect. I didn’t even think about it. Love that.
John Krasinski as Mr. Fantastic
Emily Blunt as Invisible Woman
Dacre Montgomery as Human Torch
Liev Schreiber as the Thing
My cast for the MCU Fantastic Four
Bryan Dechart as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic
Elizabeth Lail as Sue Storm Richards/Invisible Woman
Rudy Pankow as Johnny Storm/Human Torch
Jason Segel as Ben Grimm/The Thing (CGI)
Perfect. This is my casting too.
But maybe the Ben Grimm (Thing) as Liev Schreiber or David Denman
It's Fantastic as well. But I think it should be Dwayne The Rock Johnson plays as Ben Grimm/The Thing.
Michael Shannon for Doctor Doom 🔥
When he described what they need for the Thing, he described The Rock
I love your casting especially for torch
Matt Bomer... my man crush. And I’m like you, I liked the Fantastic Four.
Not sure if you ever read the Legend of Drizzt series Bryan, but I would absolutely love if you casted the characters in that series.
Drizzt, Jarlaxle, Matron Malice, Zaknafian and in future novels Wulfgar, Carrie-Brie, Bruenor, etc.
The characters in this series are extremely deep and if you’ve never read them I highly suggest starting with the dark elf trilogy.
Mr.Fantastic- John kransiski
invisible woman- Emily Blunt
human torch- Dacre Montgomery
the thing- David Denman
Dr.Doom- Collin Ferrell or Pedro Pascal
I still want Jon Hamm or Glenn Howerton as Reed, but you've sold me on Matt Bomer too, and the others are perfect, especially Dacre Montgomery.
I would love to see your cast choice for a live action of Avatar the last Airbender, especially now that is soon coming on Netflix and we don't know the cast yet.
It was cancelled last I heard
@@not.cypher no, only the original creators left the project because Netflix wasn't cooperative with their ideas.

Great picks!
If they don’t cast John or Emily there will be outrage and riots but the guys you picked could also work
Alpha Flight & Excalibur NEXT! You know international is where they go after this phase.
Reed Richards - John Krasinski
Sue Storm - Emily Blunt
Ben Grimm - David Denman
Johnny Storm - Dacre Montgomery
Reasoning:
First off, John and Emily is a given. They are both fantastic actors in their own right, but seeing them together in A Quiet Place really solidified this for me. I'd love to see them bring that core vibe to this project and really put the "family" in the First Family.
David Denman is probably most known for his role as Roy in The Office, but that's one of the reasons that I picked him. I think that he and John could really sell the best friend vibe, and after seeing him in films like The Power Rangers and that one with the evil superman kid (can't remember the name), he really sold me on his acting abilities. I personally think that he would kill this, and I'd love for him to have a breakout role like this that he can call his own. Also, because he played Dacre's father in The Power Rangers, I feel like he would be able to bring a nice mentor/father figure type vibe to the film.
For me, Dacre Montgomery is the only choice for Johnny. I've seen names like Zac Efron thrown around, but honestly, I feel like he's too big of a star to play this part. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Zac in the MCU, just not as Johnny. All that said, I love Dacre. He was amazing in Stranger Things, and he was one of the best things about the Power Rangers, and I feel like he would absolutely nail this role.
Let me know what you think guys! Obviously, only one of my picks is different from Bryan's, so it's nothing that special haha, and honestly, I never even thought of Abraham from The Walking Dead, but I love it! He was one of my favorite characters on that show, and I'd love to see him on the big screen.
Dacre works pretty good, did not think about him as Johnny Storm.
Man I wish we got this instead
Alice Eve is officially in the MCU already
6:38 was such a perfect, kwithpy bitch-slap
If you ever do future heroes for the MCU think of Norman Reedus for Ghost Rider
I prefer Keanu reeves because he’s into motorcycles and has hood acting
I personally love the casting of John Krasinski but my brother refuses to believe he will work and he says he will only be able to see him as Jim from the office

Glenn Howerton - Reed Richards
Emily Blunt - Sue Storm
Dacre Montgomery - Johnny Storm
Seth Rogen - Ben Grimm
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau - Viktor Von Doom
Timothy Spall - Moleman
Lakeith Stanfield - Silver Surfer
Bryan Cranston - Galactus (voice)
My personal choices are:

Dacre Montgomery as Human Torch
Dean Norris as The Thing
I like your casting.
Here is mine:
Zachary Quinto - Mr. Fantastic

Mr Bomer is too beautiful to be cast as reed richards. matt's beauty distracts from the supposed intelligent and distant personality. pass on bomer. could be namor.
Nah I'd cast that Asian actor from "Crazy Rich Asians" as Namor, as he'd be perfect for it.
Agree. Reed is supposed to be known for his brain. If he has the brains and the looks, that is over qualified. I am not sure if it is part of the story, but I feel he is lucky to have gotten Sue especially since his first passion is always science.
@@brianng3414 Very true. Plus, Sue's had other guys hit on her in the past if I'm not mistaken like Namor and Dr. Doom, so that only adds more fuel to the narrative that Reed is lucky to even have her which is why you don't want Reed to be too much of a pretty boy.
And having said that, they need to make sure Sue isn't just the token chick like she was in Fant 4 stick, or have her just be there primarily for sex appeal like she was in the original two films. No, she needs to be a motherly figure of the team like this guy was saying, and she's a scientist too in her own right, so they need a woman who can bring that to the character as well.
