Watching you fall and get up and keep going being so strong motivates me so much. You're a warrior and I 100% believe you can do this 💪 love from South Africa
Tammy, I just discovered your channel a few days ago and I've been making my way through all of your content ever since. I also suffer with depression and an ED (AN) among other things. Watching your videos has been helping me a lot to stay motivated and keep fighting for own life and happiness. THANK YOU. Also your cats are adorable 🥺
I was trying to get out of binge mode from September to December. Thankfully "New Year, new chance" helped with my motivation a lot and I got back on track on January 1st. I can't believe how much better I felt after the first day or two. It literally took me 2 days and my sleep was so much better, I could fall asleep quickly, I didn't wake up in the middle of the night or very early in the morning to go pee (because I didn't eat much sodium to hold onto the water). I even stopped snoring right away :)) I think it has to click in the head for everybody, motivation is for me the main thing to keep me started. It only takes like 3 days and after it the sugar cravings are gone. I honestly think that because you try to restrict so much, your body is starving and that leads to the often binging. I'm not a professional of any kind but maybe try to eat more volume foods with less calories? Not so many toasts and pasta but change it up with veggie salad with rice and grilled chicken, oats into your morning shake, eggs, avocado and fish for healthy fats and much more protein so that you feel satiated longer - bigger portion of chicken, lentils, canned tuna, eggs, cottage cheese, nuts... I try to eat lots of protein in my meals and so far I haven't binged or overeat since December 31st. Also, one more thing. I watched lots of your videos in the past few days and in lots of them you say that B&J icecream is in sale - 3 for 10 Euro. From what I can see in your videos, this deal is avaliable at least once a month. I get it when you say you don't want to miss this deal but why? It's repeating regularly. You don't have to buy it every time it's on sale when you know it will happen again in a few weeks. It only triggers you to binge when you know you have it in your freezer or storage. I try to make a list of what I need before I go shopping and in the store I blindly follow my list and skip the sweets section alltogether because otherwise I woudn't be able to resist it either. But when I have a list, I know what I need and my shopping is done quickly and without any temptation. This way I don't have to look up any kinds of deals and I'm not tempted to buy cheaper unhealthy stuff. Of course I don't know if I'm gonna be successful or not, I'm just at the beginning of my journey (losing weight from 115 kg). I just wanted to share my experience and tips that are working for now :) Lots of love from the Czech Republic :)
Happy Belated Birthday Tammy! Completely understand where you're coming from in regards to depression, very impressed with how you are trying to get out of that funk.. May steal that box idea 😊
Ok haven’t watched the whole thing yet but I love the idea of the activities box! I think I’ll try that too!! I struggle similarly to you and watching you get back up every time you fall is motivating and gives me hope! Tammy your a beautiful woman and I wish you all the best on this journey, we’re here with you rooting for you and cheering you on!! ♥️♥️
Hi Tammy I love your videos ❤️❤️ Watching someone with similar mental struggles to me be so honest and keep working on themselves is really helpful and inspiring!
I have an absolute the same problem as you do. And I’m fighting the same thing. WE ARE TOGETHER. WE will get through it! TOGETHER! Just keep making videos please 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼
hello Tammy 💛 i think you're so pretty and i love your sense of humor with the editing! thank you for not putting the background music when you're talking anymore, I've been watching a lot of your videos recently and that music would get stuck in my head )': also i love your bead characters, i was amazed when i realized you made them all! i was wondering where you got them lol. God bless you and the kittens and the whole lem fam 🍋
I’ve just discovered your channel, and I really appreciate your honesty with the difficulties that people who have binge issues have. I truly believe we can fight against it, but we need support systems around us 🤗🤗
I was made redundant 2 weeks ago and it devastated me and I stayed in bed for three days. But after a handful of interviews I now have 2 job offers. Don't allow the start of the year to set the tone for the rest of it - stay strong. 🤗
Hi Tammy! I just found your channel through suggestions. You sharing your struggle has to be difficult! But it's something that people don't often see. I just started sharing my journey too and I used to struggle with binge eating disorder - by that I mean I still do - it's a constant battle. I am wishing you the best! You can get out - you have to want it and start working toward it. I am looking forward to following you on your journey.
I've just found you and I love your channel! It cool how real you are and always reflect a lot - it's really insightful and something that I want to do more too. You're also really creative and find the vlog style of your videos so relaxing. Happy to join the lemon family. Love from England
I've deeply struggled with depression for half my life so since I was 13 and I'm very anxious all the time. I used to use heroin and Xanax and oxycontin to not feel wired with debilitating anxiety. Now that I'm sober it's still hard. But when I lost 70lbs I was shocked at how much better I felt in so many ways. I'm still anxious but not like before and I'm wayyy less depressed. Like way less. My point is u never know what will help so keep pushing!!
Tammy, the reason for your binges may be because you restrict yourself too much. You can eat 2000 calories and still lose weight in a healthy, steady way. It doesn't have to be as fast as possible! Do not restrict yourself too much.. count your calories. If you can have some sweets and candies and it squeezes through your calorie intake for the day, then have them!!! I lost ~40kg. I started many diets and failed and the reason why I failed was because I sometimes only ate 900-1200 calories a day and never allowing myself to eat something else other than "healthy" stuff. Allow yourself chocolate etc. - IF YOU KNOW YOU CAN HAVE IT, THE LESS APPEALING IT BECOMES! I also had one (sometimes twice, usually on the weekend) day(s) where I would NOT count calories and just eat whatever I want. At first, you look forward to those days but then you just shrug them off, you slowly prefer the healthy meals over the fatty and sweet ones. Give it time. You can do it. ❤
And this isn't just for Tammy only. If any of you struggle with the same problems as her, take babysteps. I believe in you all. You don't have to exercise 24/7. Getting healthy and fit is 90% diet, 10% working out. I only exercised 15 minutes a day, 30 minutes every second day.
Very well said! I believe in the same thing as well. I’ve been able to loose (and keep off) 60lbs so far without having to count my calories! It’s taken me a few years to do it but I prefer it this way bc this is something I want for the long haul :)
@@biancasadventure exactly.. if you want to stay in your healthy weight range, you need to adjust your life around it. If you only do it to lose weight asap, you'll most likely end up eating unhealthy food again and gain the weight back.
You can’t fail if you give up so just keep up it Tammy, you can do this! It’s gotta take a lot of hard work and consistency but it is achievable, you just gotta keep on trucking
10:07 Really felt that today after binging On my list for today is to eat something healthy when hungry. The problem is since I already ate unhealthy stuff I won't be hungry so I can't just hurry up and get it done. It does help to be on autopilot. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I admire that you keep up with your University. I dropped out, due to mental issues and I'm not that smart as a whole. But I find it unusual that you can find the discipline to maintain a study schedule, while there is that other part of you that struggles with a diet plan. Humans sure are complicated. Go figure. Anyway, I'm binge free for a month now. I overeat fruit from time to time but not as bad as it was . What helped me, is not eating bread and mostly cutting out milk (I cheat with cheese, but rarely). I notice that every time I have something wheat flour based or milk my cravings are more potent. But that's just me. Good luck to you, on your way.
for me ice cream and whipped cream were my trigger foods... but I'm completely binge free since I cut ourt sugar.... like 100% cut out sugar... I have nothing in the house that contains sugar.... I think I too was addicted to sugar
Hi! I have binged eaten for 4 years after I quit smoking, now I’m trying to lose the weight I’ve gained! Not easy, but slowly eating better…..it’s a slow process. Good luck to both of us👍🏻
Hello! New 🍋 from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am happy to have come across your channel, you give me hope and inspiration to keep pushing through the difficult days❤️ thank you so much! Have a blessed day 💪🍋❤️
Hi...keep your positive thinking, because you're a great person,I also struggle with my weight i was 123 kg last year and i started to go to the gym and i was very carefull with what I ate...and now i am at 99 kg....keep it up be strong and work not to perfection 💐many hugs
you have to stop eating sugar.... quit cold turkey.... once you stopped eating sugar and you survive the withdrawal phase you gonna be better... you are addicted to sugar... like it's a physical thing like smoking etc
I think you are forgetting that she struggles with binge eating disorder so it may be a lot harder for her to quite sugar cold turkey more so than the average person.
I agree - just stop eating sugar. Yes, it’ll be hard! But after 30 days your cravings WILL stop. I haven’t eaten sugar in 4 years now. Before this I had a terrible addiction to it. I lost 50 lbs and I’ve now weighed 135 lbs for 3 - 1/2 years.
You are so pretty and don’t lose hope! We will win this fight! I know it for sure bc you already took the step to get beter so and bc of that you really motivate me! (I am anorexic..)
Hi Tammy. Have you heard of the book, The Artist’s Way, by Julia Cameron? It’s a wonderful book to help rediscover your creativity. I think you are a deeply creative person and I admire your attempts to reconnect with that side of yourself. I hope you will give the book a try. It has helped me a lot as I always feel better when I’m being creative.
hey tammmyyyyyy i know you like gamess so can u recommend some games u like?? i usually like playing story based games but im open to anything! would love that, keep pushing. like your videoss
Laat die f-ing carbs nou eens achterwege, dan heb je nauwelijks honger op een gegeven moment. Je zit nu in een cycle die je op deze manier nooit gaat doorbreken, de bekende never ending story!
Girl why don’t you admit you are still more than friends with Stephan? I know you dated before. But you’re either talking about him or visiting him, or taking him shopping, or cooking for him, or lighting candles cause he’s coming to stay the night. Just me honest 🤷🏼♀️ we’d be happy for you! Yes it’s not our business. But you’ve chosen to put your life on line and you show him a lot. Talk about him a lot, so it’s normal to ask about this .

Unfortunately, clinical depression sucks every ounce of energy from your soul. Be gentle on yourself and please be kind to yourself.
Can you tell a little more about you? How old are you? What did you do for education? Have you worked?
Have you considered hypnotherapy? I know people that have used it for anxiety and weight loss with great results.
You speak better English than many Americans 😅
Here from Alex is shook (:
How old are you?
We are twinning with the forehead scars lol
Zou je misschien een keer een ander nummer eronder kunnen zetten?
Smoking kills
Awwwww hon, I'm sorry you're feeling so crappy.....I HOPE you're seeing a Therapist and are (or are considering) going on anti-depressants..
Laat die f-ing carbs nou eens achterwege, dan heb je nauwelijks honger op een gegeven moment. Je zit nu in een cycle die je op deze manier nooit gaat doorbreken, de bekende never ending story!
Congratulations on your binges. I knew you could do it!
*Oh girl pleeeeeeeease change your backround music* 🙏🙏🙏😩😩😩😩
I love your content, especially the cats, but you have a gift, please consider pursuing music....!
