    Popping in to strongly recommend an air fryer. You can add normal sautee ingredients, only a little oil. It makes cooking healthy tasty stuff easier because you don't have your nose over the pots and it is faster. Result gourmet with meat, veg combos. I got a 4 litre, happy with this size which makes 2-3 full servings at a time.

    Hi Tammy, from S Africa. Thanks for that interesting info about the bees. I did not know there were so many solitary bees. I always thought they stayed with the Queen. Good luck with Overeaters Anonymous. It didn't work for me, but it was group sessions. If yours is one on one, it might be better. Don't apologise about the oil. It looked like olive oil which is super healthy. Sunflower oil is worse than sugar. I never count calories, just carbs, below 20g per day. Good luck with the blood work. I really love your cats x

      @@lucyheart8033 Exactly. My doctors prefer that I eat "normally" for 5 days before a blood draw and then fast the night before a draw but they as I use fasting for pain management without prescription drugs they've said that three days should be sufficient. I put 'normally' in quotation marks because it is more the norm for what doctors consider normal. Regular fasting is my normal.

    Maybe you can ask the person drawing you blood if you can please just get the cottonball without the sticker/medic-tape and close your arm over it for a bit, I'm certain she'll allow it. There's imo no reason for you to put yourself through that - some might think it's "silly" that you feel that way, but a lot of people have things they discreetly avoid (I don't walk on gravel if I can avoid it. It icks me out.) But it's also fine not to, I know it requires energy for that as well.

      @AzaleaBee Год назад +1

      I agree. The highly processed potato product can't be healthy.. certainly isn't helping with weight loss or insulin management. But just the chicken and broccoli? I think small portions of other things would benefit Tammy with that meal. A dab of fermented foods like vegetables? Small sides like olives or avocado for the fat and phytonutrients? Colorful vegetables and/or mushrooms? Certainly onions/leeks or other foods for prebiotics.
      Little dabs of food for variety, texture, nutrients, and gut biome health can make a big difference.

      @@monster1942 I agree that ready made from the store are a problem for a lot of people.. but many of us DO think twice. The source of the olive oil is important too, particularly how it is made, how long and how it is stored including before it reaches our homes.

    Honest question... not trying to be mean... but if you have a freezer full of food and five days worth of vegetables why are you ordering groceries? It's easier for me not to binge when I don't have large quantities of food in my house or if I'm just eating to live so to speak and not just eating things I highly prefer all the time...only eating for sustenance not for enjoyment. I have a history of disordered eating and emotional eating so I don't keep large quantities of food in my house...I just eat what's there and if I don't really want it then I know I'm not truly hungry...... just a thought

    • @hazelnutcase357
      @hazelnutcase357 Год назад

      Maybe she's like me. If I have all my food favourites freely available filling my fridge/freezer/cupboard then there is too much there for anyone to finish it before I get to it. 🤷‍♀️
      If I know it is there, I don't get cravings. I only eat what I want when I want and enjoy it.
      If I want a chocolate bar or icecream, then I eat that instead of a meal. I usually want real food thou.
      Most nutritionists/dieticians push for "3 healthy meals a day" this makes you eat your comfort foods in addition to normal meals - and that's where the guilt and overeating starts.

A lack of orexin or decreased receptors for it can be a cause for sleep disorders, vivid dreams/ hallucinations, poor mood, poor memory, etc. The only way to test for orexin levels is a lumbar puncture which is too invasive.
