Great advice..i have a question I hope you can answer I have a 94 old's cutless supream 3100 the reverse lights will not go off even with the key off and it kills my battery.do you THI k it's my safety Nuwch.switch
I have a 1967 mustang coupe! I have the same problem shown here. The other problem is that the c4 has a d2sp-ab shift lever on it too which is smooth and will not run a NSS. I was looking to change the shift lever out for a 67 one, but I am not sure of the part number I am looking for; be it a c7??-??. Do you think you can help me with finding a number?
Will this part fit on any transmission? I did an Ls swap and we noticed that my rear light wont working and we checked on the fire wall and it didn’t have this part
The part shown in the video is made for the transmission that the car in the video uses.Your going to have to use a different type of switch for the kind of transmission you are running.
The back up light switch is mounted to the back of the transmission under the car. The wires from the switch run up thru the floor above the transmission, under the carpet and plug in above the gas pedal area. Chances are you have a broken switch.
thanks this video solved my issue with my backup lights
Glad to hear it...

Hmmmm. I would unplug the switch to see what effect that task may have.

Yes talk to the folks at Kentucky Mustang Parts. They may have the correct transmission to your car. Call them at 888-861-0176

cool thanks for the tips
How does it work for a manual transmission of a mustang 66
The back up light switch is mounted to the back of the transmission under the car. The wires from the switch run up thru the floor above the transmission, under the carpet and plug in above the gas pedal area. Chances are you have a broken switch.
hos does this work on a 1973 mustang (grande)?
Same way. Thru a switch on the side of transmission or inside the shifter if you have an FMX transmission.
ok thanx! I have the same issue
