Trying to safely TAKE DOWN the MAST on my tiny SAILBOAT with these AMAZING PEOPLE!

The last time I took the mast of my sailboat down, it came down faster than I could hold it. So, this time my good friend Ronald came to the rescue. The mast has to come off for some updates and some regular maintenance. It feels like the end of the bigger projects is coming, meaning that the boat is nearly ready for some insane adventures.
What are your thoughts about Wind-meter placement? During my sailing races aboard of other ships, I got so used to the digital wind data that I just have to have one myself.

Ah nice! I needed to this to my Centaur a week ago, I built a "thing" I saw in internet which is a whooden pole with a winch in one end that works kind of the spy giek you used but it sticks to the foot of the mast with a strip to prevent it from moving and with the winch you can slowly pull it down, I believe my mast is 6meters but as you mentions it "looks" not so heavy.... but they are very heavy haha. Good that you could make it work man!

Thanks mate, I guess there is many ways to do it, but the thought of dropping it is just terrifying😵😂 I just saw that my windex is stuck… damn it!
