I so enjoy your videos, and the feelings you express. I also am a solo sailor, about to depart Japan for Canada. I also have a very understanding and supportive partner and family for whom this journey has heightened my love. We are so fortunate to be able to have these experiences.

What a wonderful relationship with your family. Buy a bigger boat and have them come on board to help with the watches. Those watches get to you on longer passages. What a wonderful story you will have to tell.

yo tampoco uso enrollador de genoa,me resulta muy comodo y seguro utilizar un fino cabo como contra driza de genoa,enviado al cockpit, desde alli puedo izar y arriar la vela sin ir a la proa,pruebelo. La felicito por su barco y su capacidad marinera, luis cichero,uruguay,sudamerica

Wow 40 dagen op zee en zeilen, dan zul je straks aan land wel "zeebenen" hebben. Wat fijn dat je datgene kunt doen wat je heel graag wilt en je daarin gesteund wordt. Live your life and enjoy.

Hi Linda. Die zeebenen aan land vallen bij mij erg mee. Daar heb ik eigenlijk nooit last van. Die dieptemeter verschillen ben ik niet achter gekomen. Soms is het iets wat onder de boot zwemt of zijn het golven. Blijft raar
ziet er weer mooi uit! Doe jij nog iets aan "fitness oefeningen" aan boord? een maand of wat stil zitten lijkt me ook niets
Hi Dennis. Ik doe af en toe wat yoga aan boord. Het klopt inderdaad dat je op zo’n lange oversteek weinig beweegt.
Well the first time I've seen you. Very impressive for sure. If you don't mind me asking. How old are you. I myself will be 71 in Oct. and I blew it when I was young. Lived on the water on my own place in Florida and had a sailboat and knew nothing about it and like an idiot I sold it and who knows what it would be worth now. So dumb. Either way. Still miss the water and my sailboat. :) Will be watching. Subscribed & Liked

Hi Jacqueline. We volgen je reis, geweldig! Wanneer denk je dat je in NZ bent? Wij zijn ook zeilers en wonen in NZ en zouden je graag eens ontmoeten. Je kan ook altijd bij ons verblijven. Wij wonen ten noorden van Auckland. Ben ook geïnteresseerd om een Grinde te kopen in Europa en terug te varen maar NZ. Fair winds!!

Hi Jacqueline I try all the day to see your trip from panama to marquesas ,finaly ,I CAN SEE YOUR FIRST PART OF THE TRAVERSE.Why you dont stop in Galapagos?In the end of video I am feeling your emotion with you abouth the feelings of th the trip, I feel close of you , one hug to you.

That is the other reason indeed. After the high costs of crossing the Panama canal
Go on listen to heart, I already did solo sailing without people in fact with serious obstacles of people , listen to universal which give answer in time.. timing is the most important, timing with light right

Hi Jeroen. I have done training for all kinds of emergencies. Also have all kinds of equipment with me. But still I was far from anyone else for 31 days. So fair point.
Pirates sometime sail with 1 leg and or 1 eye.Or a hook on their arm😅

Het is een Penn Rival Level Wind Reel. Deze zit met de standaard bevestiging aan de zeerailing vastgemaakt.
