Fingerprint settings changed with One UI 3.0 | One UI 3.0 Fingerprint Tip:
1. Turn off Fingerprint Animation: Go to Biometrics & Security > Fingerprint > Turn off animation.
2. Turn off screen transition effect: Go to Biometrics & Security > More Biometrics Settings > Turn off screen transition.
3. Turn off battery optimization for biometrics > Go to Settings > Apps > Click on top right corner Menu option > Special Access > Optimize Battery Usage > Select All apps from top > Type "Biometric" and turn this one off.
Restart the phone and you're done.

In android 12 "optimize batter uses" is messing. How can i find it now?
@@rr.taimee Android 12 onwards, you can only disable animations, and just disabling animations will also speed up the fingerprint sensor. They have taken away the optimize battery usage settings.

I have a question : the "battery optimisation part is a bit cut and fast ... What is it I have to do with the battery optimisation? Do I have to turn on all, and turn off only the right app ?

The one tip on the Advanced feature for the restart of the phone though - can the phone be completely off in order to restart? The older phones did offer this but am not sure of the latest models.

@@Sea-rx3bh this is a 30 Mins long video already...had I not been fast, it would have taken another 10 to 15 extra minutes. You can slow down the playback speed to slow it down. And no! Don't turn it off for all apps.
Too fast the biggining.yes its 10-15 mins video but what is the use of it if you dnt explain it properly..

I don't have biometrics preferences. Only More biometric settings. In there I have Show unlock transition effect, not screen transition effect. I have a brand new S20 FE but obviously not on the exact same OS model.
Same here, turning both off can speed up the unlock little bit.
That's the same. You can turn that off.

Hi, Great video, thanks for sharing all your expertise! One question, I just bought the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G and the Samsung calendar no longer displays the days of the week as S M T W T F S and below those letters it would show the date numbers for the week, whether you are in day or week viewing mode (it did show these on my Samsung Galaxy S8 when I was in the Samsung calendar) - do you know of a work around to show the shortforms for days and the date number under the letters as it was before near the top of the screen? If I could attach an image I would show you what I mean, I hope this explains my question, thank you, Mark

I appreciate the tutorial on this phone that I just bought but when you are talking about turning the screen in the notifications section to vivid or warm I do not have that option in my notifications although I have the same phone that you do. Any suggestions?

My S20 Fe stopped updating for a year now, what can I do to resolve the issue.
Great stuff! Unfortunately, it looks like the quick share only works with Smart Things/Samsung devices. It doesn't work with my LG or Sony Bravia TVs.

How to enable darkmode on youtube WEBPAGE with SE20 FE? When I try to do so it says I have to have dark mode on the PHONE enabled or else it's just grayed out. This is NOT the youtube android app but when I'm using youtube trough a browser on my phone. This never occurred with my old S7+. There I'm able to activate the youtube dark mode without having to activate darkmode on the phone as well.
Open RUclips app, goto settings > general > appearance > turn on dark mode.

How to disable galaxy store in samsung phone
I am currently using S20 FE. The problem is there is no built in AppLock system. I am forced to use third party app. This app locks the app okay but you can still read the content of your chat from notification. Do you have any solution for this?
Nope. With Samsung phones, you have to use a third party app locker.

Can you suggest any 3rd party app for app & notification lock. I have tried a few. All have same problem. They sure did lock the app, but you can still read the message from the notification. If I lock the notification too (in some app), they just don’t show the notification anymore. Which can be done easily from notification settings. ☹️

Do you know how to organize and consolidate all the app badges by alphabet? I used to be able to do this easily on my old LG G5, but I haven't found a way yet to easily do this on my new S20 FE 5G.
Open the app drawer on your phone and click on the three-dotted menu button on top-right corner, click on Sort > Alphabetical order. And that's it. Let me know if you need any further help.

Video was way too fast and didn't show what you actually turned off for the optimization during the fingerprint scanner part. What did you turn off? There's a lot of things on in there.
Slowed it down and it doesn't actually show what you turned off in there.
after the last step where he changes the 'Apps not optimised' view to 'All', I assume he scrolls down and toggles off the switch for battery optimization for an app called 'com.samsung.android.bi...' which is short for the biometrics system app that he searched up a couple steps immediately prior. hope this helps

You've got great helps but as a novice, you move way too fast and talk way too fast for me to follow along. I had to rewind and pause too many times to figure out what you were doing. I finally gave up and moved on to another video.
If I do not move fast enough this video could take up to 40 minutes. I tried to keep it short, but your suggestion noted. I'll keep upcoming videos a bit slow. BTW you can also slowdown the playback speed and watch it. Thanks for the suggestions.
