I am glad this documentary showed not only the final victory. It showed the confusion, chaos, struggle at the early stage. Showed the ordinary Wuhan people’s sacrifice. It can not be done without the frontline workers from the whole country, can not be done without all the volunteers. Hopefully we human can learn from this pandemic, good or bad. This is not the first , will not be the last. Together we can get through this. Be kind, be calm and be safe.

My heartfelt respect and gratitude for the Chinese people for their enormous sacrifice and the Chinese government for being an example to the whole world on how to handle a pandemic. Putting the people's lives above everything else, in the end, that's what matters. The most important human right in the world is the right to live peacefully.

As a native Chinese, what mr Trump and Pompeo changed me most in past years was I totally lose the passion and feeling while viewing Hollywood movies, those characters suddenly seems so hypocritical and artificial to me. Wishing American people realize the huge change of the image of US in left worlds’ eyes, which may has much much more far-reaching impact.
Chinese know the balance of the rights and responsibilities. Their kindness is from the bottom of their heart. When the moment comes, they have the wisdom to make the right choice.
I went to China at Jan 10, 2020 and back to Canada at March 10 2020. I experience this pandemic from beginning and probably to the end. The lockdown in China is unbelievable, at chinese new year Feb 3 for almost 3 weeks, All ppl stayed home, ppl trust government. Only one person for one family r allowed to go shopping 2 times a week. Ppl take it very seriously. At that time i was very frustrated by the government. In Canada nobody cares about this, ppl treated it as a normal flu, now all parks opened, parks all packed with ppl and no one wear mask. We r now experiencing a second wave. Government first said mask do not do shit, and now they said wear mask even during having sex. They r dumb ppl who rule country and take a lot of money. They do not listen other countries advices at all, like 70, 80 years old grandma who cannot use internet.
The problem is a bit systematic. For all the information hiding from CPC, it rarely lied. So, Chinese trust the bad news, and took it very seriously. This trust is the foundation for implementing a lockdown.
In the west, you know politician lies quite often, and politician knows the people know that they lie (e.g. masks are not useful). It's unthinkable that a lockdown can be enforced. The policy space is by the nature of the system much more restricted. Some people thought it's a personal liberty issue. That's nonsense. The politicians know it's impossible to have an actual lockdown due to the mis-trust between people and the government.

I was born and raised in Wuhan, also have experienced the pandemic in Wuhan from the beginning. My dad was a volunteer at a quarantined hotel and my mom was working for seven days a week to help people in Wuhan to get food during the lockdown. Neither of them ever complain about this. I'm so grateful for the people who devoted themselves to Wuhan.

I'm a Chinese living in America for 18 years and have been working in New York City for more than 10 years now. From my observation, typical Americans are usually proud of his/her self-believed decencies and blame others that do not behave or think similarly to them. Most of time, they are actually very nice people. You enjoy talking and spending time with them. And I hate to say that some of Chinese civilians and governors do not appear to be very decent.
However, the pandemic has taught us a great lesson, you can't beat the virus because you appear to be decent, or you believe you have a better moral standard, or simply because you can vote (but actually didn't). Those self-believed decencies are not the cure to the virus. Before vaccine is readily available to everyone, collaboration of is the only key of winning the battle between against the virus.
In this documentary movie, you can see the conflicts in the early stage of lockdown. You can see people with different tempers. And you can see how they responded to the conflicts. These are all very natural because the people in Wuhan were really "locked" down. It's not the lockdown you see in America, where people can still gather for party or worship believing their blood is coming from God and protected by Jesus. At the early stage of this pandemic, I was one of a few people who had the thought that the Wuhan local governors owe an apology to all Chinese, and even the whole world because of their very early stage cover-up. But now, I think people all around the world owe an apology to people of Wuhan. They made such a huge sacrifice to buy us time to prepare for the pandemic. But the whole world has thrown it into trash can. Some of the incapable politicians, and you know who I'm talking about, only know how to blame China and try to mislead the whole world to blame China.
While China is now back to normal life, and the US is still in the swamp, those politicians are spreading words not believing the numbers from China. Those politicians are the mental virus to the human beings, the whole world need to learn how to immune from them. btw, some of them do have the corona virus now. So, yeah, better keep away from them, physically and mentally.
Those people who appeared not so decent made such a big sacrifice, and still blamed by western politicians and medias. Those people who appeared to be decent could only believe they have the freedom of contracting the virus and they have the freedom of spreading it to their loved ones, hated ones, or even strangers who are totally innocent. So after all, who are the real decent people?
What do you mean by some Chinese not being decent? The way you use this word in your context is biased. You may not realize it, but you are actually making the judgement from the stereotypes and prejudices of the outsiders, which happen to have a somewhat familiar name "American Exceptionalism". Only the ones who feel superior to others have the urge to judge. Most Chinese are common people, who came a long way from the line of being poor, hungry, and humble, and also deeply framed in a rural mindset. All I can say is that we are learning everything the hard way and time is on our side.
@@MsRapislife I think he is speaking from a statistical point of view that US ppl are better educated than ppl in China on average, so could behave more decently. How ever as a nation China deserve all the respects for the strong unity of people and government. And as a Chinese I feel more proud of my country after this battle.
The per capita education and income level can be improved by economic growth over time, but the sense of unity as a nation is much harder to build up in my view.

China must be proud of what has been accomplished,the people of Wuhan were shocked at the beginning, they didn’t realise what was happening to them, but after facing the problem full in the face, realising that all the people that could offer anything, then everyone had there part to play. Which meant everybody contributed to the fight, we in the west could never have done what China has done, people of China now know that the government works for them, and in turn people work for each other, that must be a fantastic comfort, to know your not alone. People in the west will never experience that feeling of togetherness, the people know there government don’t care about them, because of the times they’ve been betrayed, and continue to be betrayed. I can’t summon up the words to show you wonderful Chinese people how proud YOU make me feel . This wonderful documentary captures some of the bonds between the people of Wuhan and those that came to help and defeat a virus that would go on to defeat country after country to this day.
There are nurses and doctors who were kids in SARS 2003. They witnessed what the warrior medical people did. They wanted to be such heroes when they grew up. In 2020, when the pandemic hit, they accepted the challenge, did their best against the virus. And they became the heroes of millions kids. This is how the torch passed from one generation to another. This is how the civilization last for thousands of years and this will be how China survive in future challenges.
China was the first country to notify the WHO about this pandemic, others jusr treated it as the common flu

However the situation in Sweden is different from most Asian countries or cities with dense population. The distance between people in Sweden is already far from one person to the next. So it already has a natural social distance. The population is also quite mature IE they do not just go partying around. Signs over there are also in place to remind the population to keep a social distance. This kind of practice would perhaps be difficult to replicate in areas where there are just too many people around.

But we have only 138 covid cases and 2 deaths. When I saw some people disregarding the std operation procedures, I made a formal complaint to the management office. 想起来，除夕夜有人辞别家人， 年都来不及过奔赴武汉。整个国家把自己隔离整整2个月，有捣乱的有不满的有为武汉祈祷的。

其实我就是在武汉封城没能离开（安徽）参加了义工，武汉所有的火神山雷神山方舱医院的建设！所以当时武汉啥样我比谁都要一清二楚！对于那些个外媒在那里凭着想象胡说八道无下限的抹黑！当时我们义工每天都有6000-8000人参加所有人也都是自愿！而且那个时候车子停运小区封锁所以当时都是偷偷翻墙翻门骑着共享单车跑去参加！比如我每天早晨3-4点翻墙骑车4个多小时，晚上8-10点在骑车回家第二天继续而且建的每个医院位置不同武汉又大所以很多人骑车几个小时很正常！有时人不够连续工作4-5天不眠不休也是很正常的！当时火神山就有一位快65岁的阿姨和我一样干了4天4夜没有睡觉！而且当时很多外省人自己开车来武汉参加义工，可是封城不能进来只能把自己买的物资捐给武汉！确实当时武汉医院床位不够，但是老百姓都非常团结不怕死不怕累去支援建设医院！而且当时全国各地的医生护士支援武汉有的只有十几岁！当时我们火神山雷神山（重症医院）就有义工感染了！当时和我同屋合租的一位女孩就感染新冠了不过还好是轻症去了方舱医院后来好了！也有朋友当时问我是怎么想的不怕感染吗？我说没想过只是都不去怕死缩在家里医院床位又不够等到下次自己感染那就等死吧！当时我一位朋友的叔叔就是得了新冠可是床位不够让我在火神山医院看看能不能联系到一个，我当时答应她了本来说好第二天上班去联系可是当晚9点多钟她却和我说叔叔死了！所以新冠是非常严重的传染病而且这个病首发地不是在武汉只是不巧在武汉爆发的，因为在爆发前的10-12月武汉举报过一场世界军人运动会当时全世界各国都派了人过来！而且后面武汉政府还安排了这些军人参观旅游武汉市！（不知是否有人记得当时美国爆发流感已经死了2-3万人）所以这个新冠病毒究竟是哪个国家发生的还是让科学家病毒学家去找吧！

This was a valuable experience, but we must find out those mistakes we made in the beginning and prevent that happens in future. RIP for those people passed away in the beginning due to lack of medical resources. Respect to those fighters fighting all the chanllenge.
