    Can you do sumi gaeshi from the same no gi head and arm tie up?

      Yes you can. Experiment with it in practice.

      @@welcomematstevescott thank you for your reply. Please consider doing a video on the subject as I have not seen anything on this online. I would also be interested to see how Sumi gaeshi may be applied in common MMA/submission grappling tie ups such as over under clinch, double over hooks/underhook double underhooks etc where it is not commonly seen.       We're located in Olathe, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. We are able to work out with some restrictions on the number on the mat and also have to wear masks. Other than that, we are dealing with this virus as well as can be expected. Thanks for asking. Hope all is okay for you.

    For The second technique , the foot is more of a butterfly hook , whereas the first technique, the bottom of the foot 🦶 is used ? Cheers
