According to my google reasearch, Ernie Terell was 212 in his prime, and the difference between 212 and 240 is only about the weight of 3 gallons of milk, so Ali easily has a great chance, plus the heavier the slower, and he also beat Ernie Terell while being about 4 inches shorter than him, Ali wasn't the biggest or strongest, but he floated like a butterfly, and stung like a bee, and he had brilliant charm, that's why he was the greatest

Ali always maintained that 1970s Ali would have beaten the 1960s Ali . You must consider this : in the 1960s , Ali beat older guys who were mostly past their best . In the 70s , he fought mostly younger and tougher opponents , therefore Ali's opinion might be right .

Joe rogan is questioning on Ali! What the fuck he is talking. He is the greatest. Even joe acted same with khabib. Now khabib is another greatest of all time
That’s what make Ali so popular .. everything he said would have made him just a curious figure to remember if he didn’t make good on his crazy promises to beat Liston, to beat Foreman, and everyone else he conquered. It’s because he proved he was both the butterfly and the bee that elevated him to the Heavyweight title.
Oh please..Ali beat almost a prime Foreman ..who I agree was a little injured and off his game that night. But that version of Foreman would have smoked Lennox Lewis in his sleep. So Ali is probably the greatest heavyweight of all time. The only other person is Foreman himself. Not that highly overrated and boring Lennox Lewis.
Why do they even compare Ali to the bigger guys of the 90s, it means nothing, its nonsense shifting fighters around and out of their respective times . If Ali had been competing at his very best during the Lennox Lewis era of heavier weights he would be equally and naturally heavier himself through evolving. With the same skills or even better the Ali we knew would have the additional benefits of improved training methods /equipment/ diet, better nutrition and modern drugs. By contrast if fighters of the '90s were competing in the '60s' 70s they would be smaller and lighter in weight, methods of training and diet etc would be subject to those earlier times. So If the fighter of the 90s has grown bigger and stronger through evolving and better everything else then we must also reverse standards when we take them back to compete in the '60s.
Ali’s psychological crap did not work when he fought Henry Cooper. Henry ignored the clowning and waited, then he hit Ali with his infamous left hook and Ali was out for the count. The bell saved Ali another 3 seconds and Henry wold have won by a KO, ALI changed his attitude dramatically after that. Gone was the fooling around, Henry was a great boxer but his Achilles heel was his eyes, the scar tissue around his eyes would bleed and often could not be healed during a fight. Ali won the fight when it was stopped due to Henry’s eyes bleeding. But he never forgot the time that he walked into that fabulous left hook of Henry Cooper.
Imagine Ali in his prime in joe rogans podcast. That would be legendary!

That's Right, he did. Muhammad Ali said he was glad to hear people at ringside shouting racial epithets with profanities during a fight. Muhammed Ali said they paying top dollar to see my opponent get beat. Muhammad Ali should have gotten or should also get credit for being a marketing genius.
What about when he fought foreman
Ali is the greatest of all time
Ali is the greatest sportsman ever!
He was He is and He will always the the G.O.A.T!!!
The best of the best...Joe Rogan somewhere there is a view of ALI with CANDACE Bergan describing Ali's moves...Its Gold...You got to find that video!!!
I wasn't alive to watch Ali box but from what I've observed he shaped sports for the generations to come.
Ali WAS crazy though. Charisma and crazy go hand in hand.
Muhammad Ali was a far cry from crazy. A small inside circle of individuals ( who Joe Rogan obviously has never been privy) at that time knew as a fact what was Muhammad Ali's real intent. Muhammad Ali was a marketing genius. Ali's astoundinly contrived ingenious theatrics with bizarre antics was a strategic method to attract increase of magnitude in enormity of international interests for the Heavyweight Championship fights. It was a monetary marketing strategy to bring THE BIG MONEY to the Heavyweight Championship fights. IT WORKED. And Muhammad Ali laughed all the way to the bank. Intimidating the next and future opponents was secondary. Sonny Liston wasn't intimidated by Muhammad Ali. Sonny Liston perceived Ali's theatrics as irritating distractions. Sonny Liston became intimidated the beginning of the first round. When he found out basically he could only swing his boxing gloves at air not hitting Muhammad Ali. While Muhammad Ali was battering Sonny Liston's head with a barrage of punches.
You don’t need a PhD in the Sweet science to know Ali was the greatest
The greatest of all time !!
Certainly in the conversation joe. Ali all day long
Smokin Joe Frazier baby!
*Mohammad Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) is the Greatest player of the century for a reason*
If Allah is not pleased with Ali then I don’t know what he would be pleased with
Because of (Ali and Tyson) boxing still exist
I remember some of the taunts in baseball and football. Psych war is brutal and effective if done correctly. Or it's a massive waste of time and energy
Ali always found a way Joe
He's the greatest
Hey joe my cousin fought Ali in 1972 @ the boston garden when Ali was making his come back Ali fought 5 guys each 3 rounds my cousin cliffy from southie was the only one Ali didnt knock down great story!!!!!
Some boxers had already lost even before the fight.. They lost the psychological warfare with Ali
Virtually all boxers lost the fights against Muhammad Ali not because they were psyched up or psyched out . They lost because Muhammad Ali had unfathomable boxing skills ever in the world.
I like this guy he's interviewing Joe
Ali was easily the best heavyweight ever. He fought plenty of big strong guys and beat them all.
If you can deal with Sonny liston and prime George foreman then you can deal with absolutely anybody!!!!
Forget foreman and Liston, if he survived 3 matches with Frazier he could handle anyone...with ease
Ali is the greatest
Ali is 🐐 end of argument
Sugar Ray Robinson
Ali is the Greatest
He is not in the conversation, he is the conversation.
prime Ali vs primer Tyson : Ali win by UD. :) or TKO after round 6 :)
Ali looked great vs quarry in his 1st fight back
According to my google reasearch, Ernie Terell was 212 in his prime, and the difference between 212 and 240 is only about the weight of 3 gallons of milk, so Ali easily has a great chance, plus the heavier the slower, and he also beat Ernie Terell while being about 4 inches shorter than him, Ali wasn't the biggest or strongest, but he floated like a butterfly, and stung like a bee, and he had brilliant charm, that's why he was the greatest
He moved like a gazzelle and punched like a sword piercing the opponent's body.
Ali was heavier than Liston my guy
What did Ali really have to do for people for people like Joe to believe he is the undisputed GOAT Heavyweight?
View the film clip of Mike Tyson undoubtedly with sincerity, declaring with tears in his eyes. Muhammad Ali is the GREATEST OF All Times. If Mike Tyson declared it with conviction. It doesn't matter what Joe Rogan thinks.
You should only taunt if you can back it up.
Rogan Got That Blood Pressure Story Twisted. Everybody Thought Ali’s Confidence Was Fake & That When They Tested His Blood Pressure, It Would Be Super High Due 2 Him Actually Being Nervous. . But When They Tested Him, His Blood Pressure Was Perfectly Normal, Which Showed Everybody That His Confidence Was Sincere. Put Some Respect On The GOAT 🐐
Not in Boxing alone he was the best sportman of the century i guess beating Pele Bradman etc ...
Tyson at his prime was a top contender for greatest.
he achieved nothing
no he was not
No doubt ever in my mind theres only one G.O.A.T and thats Ali .
EXACTLY!!! Joe Rogan let us know he doesn't know jacksh.t about boxing. Who was the name of that boxer Joe Rogan said Muhammad Ali would might had problems with? What was his name??? Who???? The bigger they are. The harder they fall. LOL. Joe Rogan still goes to boxing fights. Joe Rogan might as well go to boxing matches blind folded and ear muffs on. He knows nothing after the years he's been going to see boxing.
Nah, if I remember correctly Ali had a regular blood pressure at the time of the weight-in
Not so. His bp was thru the roof
@@frankonolfi1966 yah they had to calm him down. Ali could've passed out just trying to scare liston
@@ascendantking2178 Exactly
You're right, jib. His blood pressure wasn't considerably higher than normal from most boxers before a fight. Those were all "concerted" (meaning more than one person involved) efforts staged theatrics and antics by Muhammad Ali and his corner even while sitting in his chair until the bell rang. Muhammad Ali's theatrics with bizarre antics were contrived tactics and strategy to increase the magnitude from international interests in Heavyweight Championship fights. More interests more money brought into Heavyweight Championship fights. Muhammad Ali brought the BIG MONEY to the Heavyweight Championship fights. Ali was never recognized truly a marketing genius. And he laughed all the way to the bank. Muhammad Ali said racist White people would be filling up the seats at ringside. Calling him the N-word and other racial epithets. Muhammad Ali said that's good. They're sitting in the most expensive seats paying a lot of money foolishly hoping I get knocked out. LOL
Ali coined the phrase GOAT himself
Joe knows a lot about Ali
But he outboxed Liston. The most intimidating boxer of all time
Huge
**Hears honking outside their house**
Sonnys wife: Sonny there's someone outside! (Frightened)
Sonny: ah that's just Mohamad Ali again, go back to sleep hun **rolls back over**
Rogan Is so smart
When I was 9 years old I walked into a sporting goods store right outside of Boston with my mother and Muhammad Ali was standing there with the owner.....nuts
Liston was never afraid of Ali he just underrated him, didn’t train properly was drinking every day before the fight
Smokin’ Joe wb the rematch 🤔
The rematch, I personally believe from what i’ve read that Liston took the punch but was ready to go down at the first shot he would take, because he was scared of being killed by the nation of islam
Smokin’ Joe He wasn’t scared of being killed by anyone. Sonny was heavily involved with the mob, they told him to take a dive.
Ryan vs Haney and Ryan likes Ali
He had a tremendous support team.... umm not sure how I feel about that one
Straight up in his time he was the greatest and he. Was the greatest out of the ring i am an old man 62 i remember him he used to make me laugh and he was very intelligent you cant compare him to today's fighter
Rip champ 👊🏻🙏🏻
Ali 🐐

No one in USA ever talks about Henry Cooper knocking him sparko, saved by the bell, then Dundee giving him smelling salts to bring him back to earth. 🇬🇧
Bring Laila Ali on the show
I second that.
Rogan is tripping to even say that it is a question whether Ali was the Greatest. We all know there is more to it than just fighting.
Ali boxed Liston, Shavers, Foreman and the others were hard too..
June 3rd was the best day of 2016.
When Prince died?
You're a fucking bitch IIONNICC
What Muhammad Ali did in the ring made him a champion, what he did outside of it made him an icon.
Indica Sativa I feel asif people say this about Ali because everyone else says it tell me what he done out side the ring then without googling 😂
@@biggiesmalls5895 he sacrificed 3 years of his prime to protest a war that killed other people of color that never did anything to him. That's just one of the things. Maybe you're the one that needs to Google up on him. Foh.
Indica Sativa everyone knows that but haha , funny how that’s the only thing u could say plus if you look it up a lot of people done that do U think u could be handed a gun and just kill someone I doubt it so a lot of people thought that way to
Biggie Smalls I’m sure a lot of people were conscientious objectors, but none of them had the profile of Ali. None of them has the money making potential of Ali, none of them were in their physical prime as the HW champion of the world like Ali ...
Name me another figure in history that has sacrificed everything at the level Ali had it simply to make a statement like that.
@@miniman2132 shindler
wasn't it Liston who pulled a gun on Ali and shot a couple blanks at the roulette table. Ali ran out of there looking like Fred Flintstone
Joe "Deep Breathe" Rogan
Holyfield would have given Ali more trouble than Lewis. Hell, Ali was way past his prime when he destroyed Foreman (meaner than Liston and Tyson put together).
Stfu u don’t know anything Holyfields style was to fight punchers dumb count
If a man that defeated excellent boxers ,while he was out of his prime doesnt deserve to be called the greatest, then I guess no one does
I’m not a boxing aficionado, but it seems to me like Mayweather, good as he is, brags about how great he is, which is so boring, yet, he wasn’t fighting on the world stage during the time of Ali or say, the fab four.
Rocky Marciano and Joe Louis might have been the only heavyweights who would have given Ali problems!
Marciano wouldn’t have stood a chance against Ali .. and as great as Joe Louis was, Ali had one of the great chins of all time, he could take Louis’ power.
@@miniman2132 Yeah Ali had some superhuman durability. He straight up took full power blows from Big George Foreman for 8 Rounds and wasn't even phased at all, he even took hooks and uppercuts from Earnie Shavers and still beat him even though Ali was far beyond his prime.
How can you put Lennox Lewis on par with Ali, come on joe.
Let's people know Joe Rogan doesn't know jacksh.t about boxing.
Ali always maintained that 1970s Ali would have beaten the 1960s Ali . You must consider this : in the 1960s , Ali beat older guys who were mostly past their best . In the 70s , he fought mostly younger and tougher opponents , therefore Ali's opinion might be right .
There is no boxer that impressed me like Ali . Tyson also
Ali's real fight was when he wasn't fighting in the ring.
Bring Alex Jones back on
Last time was a shit show
no
Fuck alex jones, that guy is a bratty man child and i am not even talking about samdy hook. The podcast was a cringe fest. If you want another man-child let's get KANYE! 😂
Same happened with Tyson after jail. Although he came out of prison jacked, he was never as good in the ring. He had lost that edge and speed
Parkinson's dude. Parkinson's. Why is that ignored so often?
Ali beat George Foreman after his prime. George became heavy wight champ at 45 in the 90's. Power fighters were Alis bread and butter. So Ali would have been like a kid in a candy shop in this era. Ali struggled against pressure fighters like Frazier. Marciano and Norton.
Rocky never fought ali kid
@@SKSPORTS2002 Rocky had the same style as Joe Frazier. And yes Rocky did fight Ali but it was just a computer fight. Search it. Rocky was giving Ali a hard time. It was during Ali's 3 year ban and he did it for 10 grand because he couldnt make money boxing.
Thw man was funny as heck he knew it was an act
Ali and Floyd and Tyson in there prime are the best 3
Joe rogan is questioning on Ali! What the fuck he is talking. He is the greatest. Even joe acted same with khabib. Now khabib is another greatest of all time
The only problem is when you try that stuff on someone like Khabib. You saw how that ended up
I find the people who smack talk the most are the easiest opponents
North Royalton idk I strongly disagree
I feel if they’re actually good it makes them better if they suck it makes you better
Joe Louis
Oh please..Ali beat almost a prime Foreman ..who I agree was a little injured and off his game that night. But that version of Foreman would have smoked Lennox Lewis in his sleep. So Ali is probably the greatest heavyweight of all time. The only other person is Foreman himself. Not that highly overrated and boring Lennox Lewis.
And he refused a rematch with vitali
Because he knew he would lose
Hes the greatest ever
not the best ever
The best ever was Sugar Ray, Ali is the greatest.
@@tari8134 well said
Ali’s psychological crap did not work when he fought Henry Cooper.
Ali was a kid the first time he fought Cooper(good fighter in his own right). Cooper got destroyed the second time.
