- This super-rare conversation between The GOAT and Irish broadcaster Cathal O'Sannon is the hands down the most insightful and reflective I have ever seen with the Champ. And it has never been broadcast on American TV. Originally shared on the RTE Television Archive website. I do not own the rights.

But at the same time he himself admitted that when it came to even things like reading, he never had the patience for it, at least in his earlier days. @19: 27 Ali assumes Irish people are like U.S people and says "i notice how proud you all are, proud of your names". In fact the british invasion and genocide attempts of the Irish people involved banning Irish names.
Ali mentions 'O'Connor' , 'Grady' , 'Kennedy' all of which are altered into the english versions. The Gaelic/Irish, original spelling of those names are 'O'Grádaigh' , Ó Conchobhair and 'Ó Ceannéidigh'. Even this comment was removed by someone a week ago when i sent it first. Lets see how long it lasts now.
@@user-yp3oj5se1i why was it removed
@@55320 It shows how Ali was wrong about the name oppression only being against U.S 'black' people. Most comments are talking about how intelligent he was and the channel is called 'reelblack'. I thought they didn't want people to know the truth because it made Ali look less intellignet/less good so that's why they removed my comment.
I also mentioned about the British oppression against the Irish still happening as they still occupy the 6 counties and the anti Irish government currently ignoring/oppressing Irish culture while using working class Irish money to bring fake asylum seekers to Ireland and give them houses and other welfare over the indigenous Irish.
The Irish prime minister was not elected by the Irish people. They installed a half Indian gay man without asking anyone. His party failed miserably in the last election.
I also included a link to the interview of Sean Deegan who was a member of the Refugee Appeals Tribunal. Over six years, he heard 500 cases of asylum of which only two were found to be genuine. You can listen to it online- 'Liveline Wednesday 21 September 2016 rte radio 1'.
I also mentioned how the anti Irish government allow the non genuine applicants to actually stay after they've been found out and say they can 'self deport' . That interview was on YT but it was also removed.
X : I went to school with many different nationalities. The Amish say : Be Careful Among The English.
The Irish understand & know #racism as well b/c they have fought English Tyranny for centuries.. As have the Scottish (Sean Connery said was a proud Scot) & the Welsh (Richard Burton said to an interviewer he was Welsh never British/English). Ali's confidence comes from self-knowledge & self-belief. He gave up a slave name & embraced his African heritage by being re-named with an African name as a Muslim, not a Christian. Why did he do this? If you know who you are, then where can the shackles of #Racism wear on you? Far too many ppl carry 'mental' shackles around in their brain.. even in 2020 either b/c they do not know who they are (lost heritage) or have conformed to a doctrine (being told who you are from outside of one'self' thus denied FULL EQUALITY) but Ali stood fully in his own truth. A muslim. African. His own name. Free. That's a commonsense few #Americans of ANY COLOR allow themselves out right. Being mindful, aware of #racism is the first step.
I thank the Irish, Scottish & Welsh for clarity. The Amish & others too. #Racism is a deadly game of #oppression & #genocide where everything is a lie & nothing is real.. unless you buy into it, then like Bob Dylan sang : "He was only a PAWN in their game" .. To be a pawn you need to be the opposite of who Ali was. The opposite of Sean Connery & Richard Burton & so many others.
Most #Caucasians fail to SEE #Racism .. they think it's an oppression & genocide against #Africans but NOT #Caucasians .. Only the #Irish & others know better. It's true Indigenous, African & Indian diasporas, no doubt, have shouldered most of it b/c melanin can never be anglo-coded. So, Fight #Racism wherever it rears itself, for the only thing it has pure is evil. Oh. "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" .. Support the Protesters. Support Change. The Change will be ONGOING for GENERATIONS so TEACH your children well. Thanks for uploading this video. I miss Ali. He was poetry in motion.

"The play was a flop. but I was a hit" The confidence was too strong 💪🏾
Insanely charismatic from the jump
I'm African and that poem was majestic and only a king 👑 can Wright such beautiful pieces of art work.
Truly Muhammad Ali was majestic by nature.
May the Lord of the worlds have mercy on his soul.
May the Lord of the World's smile on Ali's soul...that poem is right there with talent like Maya Angelou...Ali would have been the GOAT whatever he did..

Pablo Escoba🤲🏽 ameeen
Ameen yaarabb
African with the name Pablo Escobar? Obviously, u still got some identity issues
He had enough knowledge and talent to be a great anything, politician, writer, comedian, poet, singer, raconteur, actor or heavyweight champion of the world. A Great man, not just a great boxer.
@hughiedavies6069 you're not as dumb as you look 🥹
We have never ever met a man of sports with such intellect far beyond the boxing ring. It is a sad fact that the interwiev was never broadcasted in the U.S. and it shows with all clearness that the his fight is not over - the fight so immensely faught by Mohammad Ali - the greatest!
“Kill me here on the spot” .. “I’m gonna die demanding truth” - Period 🙌🏾☄️💥👑The Goat 🐐
Straight from Malcolm X to Ali! Boy ,how I love off days!
Muhammad Ali
was a man of faith and steadfast plain knowledgeable human being. He was also a spiritual leader of his Muslim faith until the end of his life here on earth. Muhammad spirit lives now with the angels in the after life .
Same here!!!
Remember. They all had the same teacher(this includes Farrakhan) and they all became one of the most hated Black men in the USA.
@@arnibah yeah, and his teacher killed Malcolm X because he was afraid he was going to lose boss status. Ali later left him. Some prophet, Elijah Muhammad huh?
@@bernie4366
No.Your wicked father killed Malcolm X.
What a brilliant and eloquent sportsman who has a fantastic character. Some rare material he is. May His Soul Rest in Everlasting Peace
LOVE this man. THE GREATEST 👊🏽
It's hard to be Humble when you are this great
@Michael Berry I love this Answers you are the first to respond this way to my post
@Michael Berry very well put! Re; religion
True confidence & boldness are often mistaken for arrogance, and false humility as humbleness... which is really a form of pride.
'Few comedians can do this: and that's their job!' 😂🤣
He was a great entertainer, charmer and comedic, too.
As well as a great fighter and Champion.
What a personality! No wonder he is an Icon still and admired by millions of people.
RIP Ali
He just let you know that you won't be treated well on this journey of life, however, if you are committed and stay the course society will one day say"We should have listened. That's in anything you do (life isn't a spectator Sport. So get busy making the world a better place
U're ALL!! Looking at and, listening too, thee greatest boxer, who ever lived and "Pulled the gloves on". He was a freak, and I STILL!! JUST cannot believe, Ali ever existed!! Rest in Peace champ
People from Pakistan love you as much as you can't imagine Mohammed Ali
100 % true.
And Muhammad Hussein Inoki. Who can eat Ali.
@@superlyger wtf?
THANKS FOR THE TRIBUTE BROTHER!
Naeem Tahir everyone loves him, stop trying to put PAKIstan ahead of everyone else.
Im my childhood we called Muhammad Ali the black superman....now as an adult I see why. R.I.P SUPERMAN
There was actually a comic made about Mohammad Ali vs Superman. That’s how great this man was....
@@awesomesause1116 yeah seen that
Ali is articulate, natural born entertainer and leader RIP ❤❤❤❤❤
This is the first time i've ever watched this interview. Ali was a man of true conviction, integrity, honesty, forthrightness, and intelligence. We need more people like him in this very challenging day and time.
I love the rattlesnake analogy. 💯💯💯
"if there are 10,000 rattlesnakes out there trying to get me and 1000 of them don't mean me any harm, should I keep the door open and hope they would unite and try to save me or should I close the door"..: unfiltered WISDOM from the Greatest of All Time!
Hopefully today he would not think the ratio is 10:1. Today it is easily 1:100.
This Man is simply, Superb..!
I've never known a Greater Human in my Lifetime..
Honestly.
God Save the King..
This interview cemented that he was without a doubt the GOAT.
What a handsome man.
With a beautiful outlook of life
Always will and always be the heavy weight CHAMPION of the world. 2020 miss you champ
Awww...I cry once again.
Definitely
This is the best interview I've ever seen with Muhammed Ali. Something about the host and the audience makes Ali feel relaxed and comfortable.
Probably even more so in the pub afterwards
Agree
Because its not in America, also the interviewer is swift in changing topics when he feels the heat. Most people crack under that type of pressure. Especially when someone is obviously well educated.
Ali make them comportable
After Allah’s help indeed.
My dad loved Muhammad and unfortunately my Dad has passed away but as I get older, I get more into why my Dad loved ppl like him, The Temptations, etc. So grateful for RUclips ❤
RIP your dad
This gentleman was truly a genius and was beautifully made, thank you almighty God for Muhammad Ali.
I’m white and Muhammad Ali has always been a hero of mine, mostly because of his activities outside of the ring. Not just a ferocious fighter & exceptional athlete, but a great philosopher. Charismatic, humorous, & dropping TRUTH bombs on TV with no fear.
I imagine a young Chuck D of Public Enemy watching Ali as a child, because his spirit is in their music.
Peace forever to Muhammad Ali !!! ✊🏼 🇺🇸 ❤️
He was God damn charming, so eloquent, so dear, entertaining, witty, quick, simply and surely THE GREATEST .Rest in peace , we people will always love you, remember you and mention you.
Ali was a good boxer that was totally full of himself.
@@jimanders6666 thats apart of greatness having a big ego you don't get that far without being the biggest cheerleader for yourself and Ali embodied that maybe that offends you because self confidence is maybe something you lack
@@NewAgeSlaves riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight
@@NewAgeSlaves Its a dead tip off of a narcissist if you refer to yourself as "pretty" and you're a man. He was the greatest narcissist of the 20th century and the media loved it.
@@jimanders6666 it was apart of his image ex pretty boy floyd he was a heel in wrestling terms he was gonna be the guy you loved to hate he even admitted that in this same interview he created that aspect of selling fights and he was very self aware of the image he portrayed its called marketing in his interview he showed he was down to earth and a man of great belief and conviction he was just very self assured in himself therefore making himself a legend I got nothing else for you hope you learn alot peace
I am glad I was around to see this great man. There has never been such a talented, eloquent, charismatic, intelligent and engaging sportsman as this man who truly was THE GREATEST. Muhammad Ali RIP.
“Dum as u looks” this guy was in another level. intelligent, interesting and a high boxer level.
