Whenever Zach eats something gross he sits in stoic silence before violently vomiting as soon as Sam resumes talking
All of his focus is spent trying to not throw up, and as soon as sam says something even mildly funny, he loses focus and pukes anyways.

I can relate. Usually when I get nauseous I go into quiet meditation and as soon as somebody says anything the flood gates open and I unleash my entire stomach. It's like my brain having to process language just makes it a million times worse

Sam really is an excellent brother. Zach needs some cash, they enjoy being together, and Zach is going through a difficult life change. While it looks like Sam is torturing his brother, he is lovingly incorporating Zach into his life. They grow close through exceptionally salty and tough octopus tentacles.
Every time I see Sam and his brother do one of these I’m just astounded that his brother is the one that has a weak stomach.

Tongue is common where I'm from, and tastes super inoffensive and cod liver is fish flavored butter. The century eggs were the only potentially gag worthy thing because they're not common and anywhere near "mild".. I'm pretty sure he's just expecting all of it to be horrible, and that's why he's preemptively getting sick 🤷♂

Next episode you should make Zach spin the mystery wheel to choose what food you make him, with some lifelines on there as well. You could even up the stakes by making it so if he doesn't eat a certain amount of the foods without throwing up he get some sort of bonus punishment. But if he completes the challenge then you have to eat all of the dishes blended into one horrific smoothie.

You should definitely try "žinčica" - a typical Slovak drink from boiled sheep whey. It is unusual and interesting flavor wise. Altough I am not sure how accessible it is in the US.

That octopus looks and is delicious. I don't know the Spanish octopus in particular but here in Greece grilled or boiled octopus in olive oil and vinegar and oregano is awesome .

As an older brother, I strive to be nothing like you two with my brother ❤️
But Sam's the younger. My older brother was pretty chill with me and my younger brother. My younger brother on the other hand had zero chill. My cousin and him made me poisoned coffee complete with dish soap, bleach, a loogie and hot sauce. I took one look at it and said no, "Why are there bubbles floating on the top of it?". We forgot about the coffee and went to play videogames and my mom came home from work and saw a cup of coffee on the table after it had lost its most dangerous appearance. We're sitting around the playstation and we hear my mom scream, "AHHHHH WHO POISONED ME?!" Twenty years later and we still talk about the time they poisoned my mom. Luckily nowadays my mom laughs about it. She wasn't laughing when she was heaving her guts out paying tribute to the porcelain goddess.

I have pneumonia and I was literally dying laughing to the point I have to watch later. Thought my fn lung was going to implode when he said “aw they could at least brushed this things teeth.” Thanks Sam for almost sending me back to the hospital. It would’ve been for a good reason. As someone who used to eat that egg a decent amount before, you are not supposed to eat the egg on its own typically. Usually it goes into a rice porridge after being cut up, it tastes a lot better when eaten that way.
same with cod liver, add lemon juice to it, salt and pepper and then eat with bread. they are quite nice actually this way and full of omega-3 and 6
