How to Optimize Lottery Campaigns with Merch by Amazon 📊

- What's up guys, in this video I am showing a quick example of how I optimize my lottery campaigns with Merch By Amazon (Merch on Demand).
There are a lot of different ways to optimize ads, and these may differ depending on the campaign type, niche, and of course your personal goals.
My process is pretty simple, just purging out the poor performers every week or so by looking at the clicks and AcOS.
*For most bids, I usually start .05-.10 cents BELOW the suggested range. This is typically in the .12-.20 cent range for most of my auto (Lottery) campaigns. I also primarily focus my bids on 'Close Match' and 'Substitutes'.

Great thoughts, Adam! Interesting to hear your thought process. Someone else had said he waits for about 20 clicks to turn off ads, but I like your number of 10 better. And WOW! I had never seen the "Lifetime" option, to view the entire life of the campaign. Thanks for pointing that out. I like your word "discipline." I get too emotionally attached to my designs to turn off ads, but you're exactly right - it's important to stay disciplined and turn off what isn't selling. Instead of turning it of right away, can you check the search terms related to those clicks and put them as negative?
Great question, but you cannot see individual ASIN search terms in bulk auto campaigns
@sidehustlessimplified maybe looking for like the main niche of the actual design. Ie. If it's a dog related design look for keywords containing dog. Just a thought 😁

I can't see the day I will start to use ads in Merch by Amazon, tier 10 is a nightmare. But I'm really curious about it, how they work, how to configure them, strategies or whatever. Meanwhile uploading more designs.
Tier 10 sucks! I know...but if you do not give up and stick with it...your persistence will be rewarded!
Hi Adam, I'm thinking of running one lotto campaign for all products that have sold for me - around 200 individual products combining all product types i.e, shirts, hoodies, pillows etc. Is that a good idea or there's merit in keeping the product types separate while running lotto campaigns? Also, what's the suggested bid these days for lotto campaigns? Thanks a lot in advance!
I’ve had tried those before with all product types but what usually ends up happening is one product type gets favored and many others don’t get impressions. I have better luck in sticking to product type lottery campaigns but, it’s worth a try. 200 is not a lot of asins so maybe it will perform better I would start low bids maybe .10-12 cent range and monitor and adjust

Thanks! Most of these are down only...But I am starting to try Fixed bids because Ive learned for example a .15 fixed bid will often get better placement than a .15 'down only' bid...hope that makes sense.
@@sidehustlessimplified yea ofc i started 'tamas' method but want give lottery another try, too. It makes sense to me thank you i started doing 2 campaigns one for close and one for sub there is more chance to filter i guess some designs dont work on close or sometimes on sub.

Why is there no one on RUclips explaining how the sponsored brand works on Amazon Ads, whether in video or image?🤔
Those are more for FBA products, and not really used for Merch
@@sidehustlessimplified But the feature is available in Merch advertisements, and I see that some T-shirts that are promoted in this way achieve many sales. Maybe I should try it
Why don't u just decrease the bids instead of turning em off
you cannot decrease the bids on individual ASINS in an automatic lottery campaign
