I asked ChatGPT to Analyze My Print On Demand Business 😲
I asked ChatGPT to analyze my print on demand business, and so far I am impressed with the results! In this example I am just using my Merch by Amazon (POD) business, but really ANY business could benefit by having something like ChatGPT analyze important data.
So I decided to make this video, and share my findings. Note *These are my numbers, and your will likely vary (that's okay!). The goal is to get familiar with your business...the good, the bad, and the ugly.
That is how you make decisions based on data, provide projections, build a roadmap and set goals.
📢 I am not affiliated with ChatGPT, and I was using ChatGPT4o, but I think any version will work.

Hey sir! Thank you so much for this great video! This is a new subscriber! But i have a question please. When you ask chat GPT about new poems or phrases, i think you will use new phrases that doesn't exists on merch.. What i don't understand is when you use a new phrase, where would you compete with it? i mean for example if i found an existing niche called "I love mom", i will create some designs with the same phrase and i will compete with the existing shirts in the same niche "i love mom". But in your case where you are using a totally new phrase, you would compete with who? because your new niche (phrase) doesn't already exists on amazon.. I hope i explained my question well and hoping for your answer. You may open my eyes on a new way of working :) Thank you so much sir!

I just applied three times and was rejected each time. I have a RUclips channel where I have over 100 followers and over 200 videos of my current travels. For some reason, I thought I just had to have an active RUclips, Instagram or Facebook account with at least 100 followers. I chose my RUclips Channel because I'm actively posting videos. However, I didn't realize I needed to review Amazon products yet . . . !

I uploaded my first 5 videos today. Most were around 30-50 seconds. Got all approved within an hour. I shot them on a GoPro 8 and a iPhone 13 so you don't need the latest camera. In some of my videos I had kids talking in the background. I had some videos shaking. I am impressed. Let's see how this goes.

wow, you got a lot of designs, I have only 966 on T 4000. 12,336 live products and my numbers of sales and royalties have dropped a ton this year. I used to make about $1500 month. now I am lucky to make $300 month. I think all my best sellers are being copied or something. I haven't had time to check or work on this part of my business in a while. last couple days 0 sales, boo. you sell more in a month than I did all last year. lol I have been in this for over 5 years too. but again, been distracted by other business I make a ton more on, for now.

*Other things to ask ChatGPT for your POD business* -Give ChatGPT your BEST selling niche, and ask it to create a list of closely related to sub-niches. -Export your sales data, and input into ChatGPT to ask for trends, analysis, etc. -Give ChatGPT your apparel types sales %, and ask for recommendations on where to focus, missed opportunities, etc. -Ask how long will it take to fill your slots at your current tier and upload rate. -Explain your constraints or bottlenecks (creating designs, keywords, listings etc) and ask for recommendations.

I LOVE THIS! I make a vision board every year. Sometimes at the end of the year, I'm like what the hell did I do? One thing that helps is I rewrite or update the vision board 6 months into the year on the back of the board. I have abandoned many projects because of shiny object syndrome. It's hard to stay focused with so many opportunities to make money! This year my main squeeze is Amazon Merch, RUclips/brand deals, and most recently AIP. But I think AIP will really tie into my RUclips thing because I've started a new Reviews channel and already gotten several brands reaching out for a collab. Just have to decide which ones are worth doing.

I feel a little lucky bc after a lifetime of being a reseller, I know all the places around me to find super cheap items. Usually 80% off retail. We also have an Amazon returns outlet store. I AM ABOUT TO GO ALL IN ON THIS!!!! Approved yesterday. I have 8 videos up! Also created a separate RUclips channel to cross post the review videos. Is there like an average run time per each video that you make? I know they say make them 30 seconds to 2 minutes for lower priced products. 🔥 This content is amazing. Thank you for posting this. Going to check out the playlist before I flood you with any more questions! This is truly impressive. That extra money would be life changing for us!

My videos are typically between 30 seconds - 2 mins. IMO, the video should only be as long as needed to give the viewer the value they are looking for. More complex product vids can be longer, or broken up into multiple video segments/types. Setup a good system now, especially if you are repurposing on YT. Send me a DM on Insta if you have more questions...your gonna crush it, and just in time for Q4!

Great thoughts, Adam! Interesting to hear your thought process. Someone else had said he waits for about 20 clicks to turn off ads, but I like your number of 10 better. And WOW! I had never seen the "Lifetime" option, to view the entire life of the campaign. Thanks for pointing that out. I like your word "discipline." I get too emotionally attached to my designs to turn off ads, but you're exactly right - it's important to stay disciplined and turn off what isn't selling.
