I appreciate you. i made my first shirt sale this week so it has me inspired to keep going just gotta get out of tier 1 first but planning to buy some of my own just to get out of it. also if you hit 10 shirts does it automatically get you to tier 25 or is there another process?
Nice work on the first sale! The first ones are always the hardest! Typically once you hit 10 sales and have atleast 80% of your slots filled, you are eligible for a tier up. So be sure your slots are filled. In the meantime, while waiting for a tier up keep designing so that next tier up you can maximize your uploads. This will create momentum. Stick with it...the program rewards those who don't give up.

Hi Adam, is using the word 'gifts' and 'shirts' banned by Amazon or is it just an untested hypothesis by some? The reason why is I see many other recent listings using those words inside their title, yet I see they're going through Amazon Merch's system just fine.Want to know your take on it. Thanks!
I'm not sure if they are banned, but I do believe Amazon has said they don't want us to use them. The word 'T-shirt' will automatically be appended for example, so no need to add it. I used to use 'Gift' but no longer use it. You can use alternatives like 'present' or 'design' or 'idea' etc. Some people still use it, but I personally don't.

You're welcome! Amazon will automatically append "shirt, hoodie, tank top' etc to the end of your listing. So I typically do not include those other search terms. However some folks add things like "Tee" or "Apparel", "Outfit" etc.

I only use amazon search results. any other software, is just pulling from amazon search results anyway. those tools are great for organization and filters, but the raw data is all on amazon and thats what i prefer. good old search bar with AMZ suggestion expander.
I like the idea Adam, thanks. I just got access to Azon ads, so I don't have any campaigns yet. Do you know a way to access the Azon data without first advertising for a week or so? There may not be, just thought you'd be the one to ask.

It could be in rare instances, but thats why you validate a niche. If i see results and selling BSR's in that category, then I know someone is buying.

You will need to run an ad campaign in order to see the data; that is how you can find other and related niches/keywords to your listing.
