They should remove the $40 fee and instead charge $1 for each item sold. That would be better for new sellers.
Or have a percentage fee like etsy foes

Thanks for the video. I'm working my way up through Merch, but this seems like a good option. It would be nice to be able to get rid of the 9 to 5. Not there yet.

Shimmy, does a business name and account for POD needed for signing up for a Amazon Seller account? That's additonal costs to pay for registraing with local biz authorities!

Sounds interesting, however what I didn't hear is that Amazon will handle the printing, shipping, and customer support for the product. Sounds more like I'll have to order the product from a POD shop, package, ship, and handle support. Am I missing something or is this the business model for Amazon Seller?
Do you have to pre pay for products on either Amazon biz platform or printful? Or is it the same as on demand and deducted from sales?

Where is the printful tutorial? I don’t see the link. I got rejected for merch in demand I will try Amazon seller central. Do you know how long it takes printful to ship item to customer. That’s the only part I don’t like. Competing with prime 2 day shipping.

My second question is for each print on demand design do we have to order one product , for example if i have 4 designs , do i have to order 4 products . because their GTIN number may be different. ??

Great video Shimmy! I have a question, for GTIN let's say we have 1000 shirts that we list on Amazon, do we have to buy 1000 GTINs or we have to buy GTIN only once for our store, and list 1000, 2000 or more designs?

can't find "getting started with amazon" video
I'm really excited to have come across this video. It inspired me to take the plunge and create a seller account. However, I encountered a small obstacle when it came to GTin, and once I successfully uploaded my design, I couldn't find the "add" button for my product. Additionally, it was labeled as generic instead of branded. Could you please provide some clarification on this or maybe create more detailed videos? It seems like most RUclipsrs only scratch the surface of this topic.

You say in video to order one sample from Printful when applying for Amazon brand registry. BUT regarding to Amazon policies, you have to have your brand on every product and/or on packaging. How can I do it with Printful? Do I have to then pay extra fee for adding my brand on every product? Or for sticking packaging? Or how to do it? Thanks for answer :)

I like the idea of printful and selling through amazon. But looking through printfuls products and prices, well, they are high. Definitely could scrape a few bucks off each product, but it would be impossible to compete price wise with very similar products on amazon.

Nothing works. Rejected over and over. All of my info is legit and in the USA. I've been trying for 6 months under all different accounts trying EVERY tweak people are suggesting. Oh well.

No, you would use printify or printful so it's still print on demand. Buying in bulk means it's no longer print on demand

you're not buying in bulk. You're still using print on demand companies and connecting it to amazon seller central. if you were to buy in bulk you could use amazon prime and store the items in amazon warehouses@@H_F2023

Nope that's not a good idea it's more complicated and you'll have to pay 39.99 + returns so much listing information being as barcode so it's a hard pass

What percentage do they take out, you said if you sell an item for $25 you get 12 after fees, that's 50% of the selling price, i feel like you would have to outprice your item to make a profit thru printify or printful, am I wrong?
The profit is fair since they charge you for the t-shirts and printing the t-shirts.. imagine you getting $12 for just uploading a design only
Seller central does not work for POD, it's very difficult to get a buy box unless you are doing FBA.

You could try providing a product that’s interesting/beautiful/inspiring. But that would mean you’re creative not just a money crazy hack.
