Omg when you mentioned the tip about storing the pens vertically (tip up) not being a good idea, i gasped and started flipping them ahh . Is it ok to store them tip down or is horizontal best? because i don't have the same storage bin you have (currently just using mugs until i upgrate + i too have a small desk space) Thank you for sharing your desk tour organization! I have a small apartment room too so utilizing the space to have everything at hand's reach isn't possible.

Love the drawers! I will have to get some! I never knew that pens and markers dry up fast facing vertical. I like that it doesnt take up much space and looks minimalistic! I like the idea of minimalism! The drawers used for the makeup is awesome! I will check Amazon for drawers. I am cheap and on a budget usually, and I have gotten a few clear drawers and containers from Dollar Tree for makeup, office supplies etc in. Sometimes Target when they are on sale. I like buying several diff size containers and drawers and then stacking them! I do like that you found drawers that aren’t crazy expensive! Some youtubers when they display their storage solutions the items they get are too pricey for me to consider buying even though they look nice. So thank you for displaying ones that are affordable! You may have a future in interior design. All that said, I have two questions: 1) Where is your chair from and what style is it? I was hoping to see how you found something that matched, something you felt comfortable in, etc. 2) I, too, have a lot of makeup and this is a great set up you have. But aren't you concerned about warmth from the window affecting/melting your liquid or stick items? I guess it depends on what your sun exposure is or how much light you get. I don’t have a desk or any area I can really take over. The extra room quickly became a nursery and our finished basement isn’t toddler proof. Re doing the basement is on my large yearly goal to do list. I want to create a “family” room where the kids have their play area , my work area, tv etc etc. This has got me motivated to start working on it!!

Your set up is lovely!!!! 😍 Something to keep in mind is how close your makeup is to the window though...if it gets too warm, it can cause your makeup (cream & liquid products) to go bad faster. Just a heads up! ❤️

now that you mentioned how much you love amazon, a cool video that I've seen and enjoyed watching is an "Amazon Favorites" by watching some of those kinds of videos I found products that were exactly what I had been looking for for a couple different reasons, but I've started to check Amazon when I need things but I'm not sure where to get them

This video made me think about storing my pens the same way.. before, I wanted to store them vertically in little bin thingies from Ikea but I don’t think that would be the best way to do it. As you said they could dry out and it’s difficult to see the colors so maybe I’ll order these amazon cubes ☺️

Be careful keeping your makeup that close to direct sunlight!! The constant heat can really damage makeup and affect how it performs!!

You could put a removable hook on one side of the cubes to hang those scissors on. :)

How do you film your bullet journal videos? Because I find it very uncomfortable to draw with a tripod in between me and my journal 😂😂
usually folks who film stuff like this film it upside down with the tripod opposite them, and then flip the footage in editing.
