    It will be two years in July since my last journey north. Watching you and Joe travel through these majestic places gives me a surreal mix of serenity and envy. My mind recalls the sweet pine in the air swirling around with the first wisp of smoke that only balsam and cedar campfires can provide. My soul is starving for these experiences. There appears there is no light at the end of the tunnel that is the border which has sperated us from our friends to the north for far too long. When you light that next campfire, take a moment to savor that wonderful aroma for me. Thanks to both of you for all you do, sending a little piece of heaven down to those for whom it is painfully out of reach.

    • @LostLakes
      @LostLakes  3 года назад +1

      I empathize immensely Paul...cannot imagine two years. This latest camping ban here was two months and that was so frustrating. Hang in there my friend, the north and the sweet resinous breeze will be yours again

    It's a breath of fresh air, to watch both of you guys. I've watched both of you separately but didn't know you were friends until this video. You love God's creation and enjoy it. You leave the sites cleaner than you found it and leave no footprint. Plus you don't have to use foul language when you converse. Look forward to seeing more!!! Thank you so much, I enjoy these videos so very much😊. Wish I could join you on a trip!

    I’ve watched each of you on your own channels and you both make great videos. However, I think your best work is when you team up in a video. You make a great team.

    Hey Jon, this was a treat to watch. You found a gem of a trout lake that would've been almost impossible to paddle away from. I enjoyed the variety of shots showing everything from the changes in weather to the beautiful evening colours, and the humour between you and Joe is so enjoyable as well. Looking forward to part 2! And I'm loving your new Nova Craft Pal👍👍🍻

      Thanks a lot O2E! Funny enough, there's a big lodge on one of the lakes and outpost camps on some of the others, but I guess not enough action to put a big dent in the fishery. And the lack of tourism since COVID has probably been great for the fishery in tourism lakes.

    Nice looking trout...
    I just got back from a fishing trip with my brother. After seeing his completely fill spools. I did the same and added 30% more casting distance. Your spools looked very low.
    Fill it to the lip.
