Thank you so much man for this video. I have been looking at videos for a while in regards to DTF; you are the first person who actually explains everything to detail and not just “converting” ( removing the rollers ). I loved the fact the you spoke about the Ink and prices. A very Honest-Detail video. Now I can make an Informed Decision Cheers 👏🏼
So, I watched a previous video of you just printing on a regular ink jet printer and now this. Is there a benefit to printing shirts this way? It seems like alot of work when you could just simply print and press in your previous videos. Thanks, your videos are great I just lost my job and I have no intentions of finding another place to work to put golden cuffs on me. I've been selling on Ebay and saving up for the last year. I'm making the jump by making my own T-shirts. Wish me luck
I did it ! made a mistake and took too much ink out of one of the cartridges and needed to rebuy it. Other than that everything is come out great. Thanks again
You are the first that I have come across about changing out the ink in the factory cartridges. I am just beginning and trying to learn. Can you explain why not use the chipless cartridges for the ink? Also, I am looking for cleaning solution to use with my refillable cartridges. What do you suggest? My maintenance plan is something like this. After I finish using the printer for the day I will remove the ink cartridges, place the cleaning cartridges and run a printhead clean then leave the cleaning cartridges in until next use. Thanks for answering my questions.
thank you much such a good video the great detail explaining how things work. could you explain why using refillable ink cartridges don't work that good verses using the cartridges that came the the printer thanks steve
Hay Slava so I started a whole jewelry online business and am even set up with a whole saler now! One of my old friends moved to Dallas and has been a jewelr for years where we live in California. We don't have really good jewelers so I started up my own online. I am waiting for my site to be finished and all state documents to be done processing. Everything should be up by next month I am focusing on custom pieces. I am going to start dealing with the LA and Dallas diamond district nd have questions as a new jewelr in the game. I have the type of money to promote and connects thru hip hop industry to get this going I just never thought to do this
Thank you for the video, this will help lots of people to achieve their printing dream and goals. it will be nice if you have a video for how to use refillable cartridge with cleaning solution for printhead cleaning xp 150000 printers or some sort of daily maintenance. ones again thanks..
Thank you. Thank you very much for the incredible hack to making t-shirts on a budget. Do you have to use that exact printer? I have a brand new in the box Epson XP4105. Will that work? I just found your channel and now I'm going to binge watch. Thanks again.
Congratulations on your lessons. One question: do I absolutely need to download the drivers from Epson or can they be installed from the CD supplied in the box? Thanks so much.
hey slava, would you be able to restart your jewelry series and maybe give update information and the difficulties in starting a jewelry business ? also how much realistically should i start with? $10-$30k ??
what happens if you go under 13-14 grams by accident when removing the ink?.. I think i accidentally did that because it doesnt fill up with water anymore and at first it was
Yo Slava is this the only one at this price point? I typed in dtf printers on google and they were all 2k as expected except one Epson EcoTank Photo ET-8500 Wireless Color All-in-One Supertank Printer, borderless printing up to 8.5 x 11" is that the new version of the one you made the video about? Hope you see this, thx in advance.
Can you tell me how to get the original ink out of the top of the cap? I’ve tried 91% alcohol, warm soapy water, soft brush and canned compressed air. I can’t get it out to put in my DTF ink.
So you can download a free trial for cad link and what happens when the trial runs out? Also, most videos point towards using inkchip firmware. Do we not have to use that? I've been stuck on getting my printer going for months now. I download inkchip and when I put chipless cartridges in, the printer isn't recognizing them.
Hello, I have a question. I chose the first option for the XP 15000 printer. I have AcroRip V11, but I see that it doesn't let me select the XP 15000 printer. What would you recommend, please?
I have a question. Can I just do a white dtf ink ciss machine and use the rest of the colors in printer? I made a big mistake and I don’t think I need a 5 or 6 ink ciss machine. In my brain I can get away with one for just white. But I can’t get anyone to reply to me. You may not either seeing this video is 2 yrs old. I do have an Epson et8550
less budget do you mean about the printer is concerned? The Epson printers L1800 and FX1500 seems to be the ideal printers to convert to DTF. on this video he removed the piece from inside, other videos show they remove tiny rollers. It is not easy who to follow to.
Very nice and informative video , I wonder if it's legal to use Stars , NBA player or Anime images ? I see people with vintage T-Shirt but I'm kind of confuse with the copyright rules . Thanks
It's probably against copyright to use their images but unless you're selling hundreds of thousands of dollars chances are they'll never come after you, but it's always a chance you take. Plus it's technically theft of intellectual property. So if you feel guilty for stealing someone else's work or not that's up to you. At worst you might get a cease and desist letter from a lawyer for using someone's image.
Hey man, just saw your Udemy page and it says that you're also a consultant. I want to start a T-shirt business and I need some help with my budget and equipment recommendations. Would you do it for a fee? Keep up the great work with the content on this channel
Hi guys, I have an Epson XP 15000, I don't want to modify it in DTF, because I will make an Epson R2880. I will keep it as it is, installing software and new firmware for without chips. I want to buy normal inks. I have generic Epson pigment inks, are they ok? Or you suggest me which one to use and buy. Thanks for everything. Hugs.
I love your videos! I’ve been looking into going in the tshirt buisness and I have chosen the dtf route just because it’s more price efficient for me right now just to start up my small business. And I have seen their is mixed reviews between getting the dtf and dtg but what I’m asking is I’m looking into buying a dtf machine, what is the best machine that is already converted into dtf because I’m not sure about the whole converting thing and pretty confused about it so I thought buying one that is already converted would be easier I’m not sure but if anyone could recommend me which are the best machines that can be already converted or if not converted the easiest way to be converted as well as having the white ink included thank you.
who cares? they are public figures. anyone can use their image. people made billions selling shirts with that idiot Trump on them. you don't think he would sue if he could?
This setup is $500... DTF actual printers start at 2k. You still have to do all the same maintenance with a legit DTF. Also if you can't do this setup in the video, I wouldn't buy an actual DTF
Slava, thanks for the informative videos. I just have a few questions about jewelry making. Do you have any contact information where I could ask a few questions? It would be amazing if you could help me
Hello. my epson xp15000 is converted to DTF and using AcroRip11. It was printing fine. All of a sudden the beginning of the printing turns out stretched. I printed an image just fine, then I wanted to print the same image again and that's when it started. Example. If I wanted to print a circular image, it would come out like an egg/oval shape. I have uninstalled the software and installed it, and still keeps printing like that. Any idea of what could be? Thank you.
that sounds like feeding matters. Like the film is not going forward appropriately. Did you see on this video he put blue tape on the film cuz he said the film is too thing. Putting tape on the film constantly that becomes tedious and monotnous. I wonder if it is better to get thicker film that works.
Question my epson xp15000hd, the firmware has been changed to run with chipless cartridges. If I down drives from epson won’t it then start asking for chips again. ???
Why nobody talks about the fuel dtf powder is creating when being heated.....its like everybody is about to breath in the fuel from the dtf powder.....
Slava, I've tried a company that sells Screen Transfer 12x18 full color, any design you want, and the cost is $10. of course you can fit a lot of designs per sheet or just one big design. Can you check it out and compare it with your methods to see if is worth it, less work but a little more cost. Look it up. I like your videos.
maintenance is the key they say. The ink is water based, when not using, the ink or the heads tend to dry out. I heard horrific stories even with dedicated printers which are not converted. The only good things I heard about are the ones that are industrial, which of course need maintenance too.
Can someone point me in the direction of a better quality print method? I have 15 year old band t-shirts that are perfect condition and this video starts with "will last hundreds of washes" thats not what I need I need good not mall quality
I didn't set up a color profile prior to printing and didn't adjust the color settings . The printer is definitely capable of making very vibrant colors

OMGOSH! Thats a great idea! I was waiting for a set of empty carts but you just sped up my process
Love your videos learned so much from you. Always straight to the point no cap.
I did it ! made a mistake and took too much ink out of one of the cartridges and needed to rebuy it. Other than that everything is come out great. Thanks again
Great and fresh video of the best way to start a quality low budget DTF T-shirt business! Love the ink part hack it's cool!

Can you make a video on how to make diamonds studded Cartier frames as for casting the eyewear parts

hey slava, would you be able to restart your jewelry series and maybe give update information and the difficulties in starting a jewelry business ?

The xp-15000 is a good printer but its actually only able to do 12" x 17" cause of the rear roller you have to leave the bottom 2 inches empty

Very informative video.
I'm looking for something that requires less budget to start. But excellent video.
This is as cheap as it gets, and the most versatile

Once again another killer video!

I believe it is possible to buy empty cartridges from Epson...
Hey when are going to make more videos
this is cool but seems very inconvenient like you said might aswell just get the actual printers
