I'm about to order the Procolored 13" Dual Head DTF PRO A3 Printer and DTF Shaker Bundle. Just wanted to watch a few videos and yours poped up. Thanks for the video!
I just purchased the R2000 from Procolored, we go out of town frequently for events for about 3 days at a time. I have no issue with doing the maitanence but I need to know where to purchase the Vacation Tubes/Cartridges. Been searching online and am having a hard time finding it. Also, I am a Mac user and have a old PC that is ready for set up for Rip software. In my case doing custom work I work on illustrator on the Mac, save to DropBox and open the image on the PC from Dropbox. So you can edit your image in Illustrator to remove colors then load to the Rips software, hope that helps. This video is great, thank you!!! We are looking to the transition, we print a couple shirts a month and feel this will be a great improvement on finances and production.

I just watched your video and thought it was excellent. You mentioned that you wished the rip software could remove specific colors. Cadlink DTF software has that feature. But that would cost another $400.
yes you're right. i'm fine with not ripping and save $400 lol. the best part is that this software keeps on updating and i'm sure it will be a feature that comes out soon enough. Procolored listens to feedback. The things i talked about in this video, they have already fixed! circulating white ink, and film feeder unraveling...the new upgraded printers have this feature. i hope this is an upgrade that can be installed even for older models.
Hi I just ran into your video and I love it I still haven't made up my mind but I do think your video helped me a lot, one question what oven do you use if any?
i use the oven that procolored has. it looks like they have a newer model that's more efficient. i still have the older model. sometimes they have promo bundles where it's a packaged deal with printer, supplies and the oven. i also have a discount code if you decide to buy something from procolored. the code is in the description. i'm glad the video was helpful!
lots of potential with DTF printing. I wish this was around years ago! i have done screen printing, vinyl, DTG. DTF has it's con's too but overall i think it's less hassle than the others and much more cost effective for being able to print FULL color.
@@HaiTech that's it! Same situation here! I've tried Vinyl, Sublimation and transfers, and the DTF by suppliers who does have the printer here in Venezuela, and thanks God and the DTF 😂 i've had more work to do!
Broooo thank you for the vid😊the info is what i needed to hear.im getting the dame model, alibaba is expensive by at least 2k so i will probably shop from ur link. Thanks again brother
One of the most informative videos for DTF, it makes me want to buy one lol. Question, I’ve heard the fumes from DTF can be pretty toxic overtime, is there an air filter system for the oven?
i highly recommend getting an oven filter or do the adhesive baking part outdoors or in a large ventilated workshop. i would get a filter and be sure the room is ventilated as well. if you do it in your garage just open the garage door.
You need heat. Whether that’s a cure oven that you buy from them or an oven in your kitchen is up to you. You could probably get away with a countertop toaster oven. It does have a smell so make sure there’s plenty of ventilation
Very helpful! I’m looking into getting into doing this full time! Can you drop a link on which printer this is? Or the newest model with the agitator like the comments suggest?
www.procolored.com/products/13-single-head-dtf-printer-roll?ref=HaiandTerrie&variant=42254564065461 L1800 model. what printing method are you currently using now?
Hi. Do you need an air-conditioned room to operate a DTF printer? Our concern is nozzle clogging due to the hot weather conditions above room temperature. We are looking for a DTF printer with good support, long-lasting, and with minimal maintenance. Thank you for this video. There are lots of info we can get from it. God bless you
i will have to ask my procolored rep about this. I have only printed in an air condition room. Are you looking to print it in the garage or open warehouse?
I use the F13 model in this video. it's also known as the L1800/F13. I would need to know more about your business and where you're at before recommending a printer.
Thank you for this video, its very informative. Before I buy my DTf printer, since I have no room for ths printer inside my house, woud it be ok to have it in my garage? Also, do you have to apply the white powder right after its done printing?
I think the garage could be okay if it is climate controlled. It really depends on your area. If it's too hot or humid it may not be ideal for the print head or ink. right after you print the image it is recommended that you add the powder and then bake it. You don't have to do it immediately after the print but i would do it within 5-10 mins that way it doesn't get smeared, dust, lint on it. once you add the powder and bake it, you can store it if needed.
Very informative! What can you suggest for me as a beginner on DTF? I have been doing vinyl up to now, and weeding has cost me a lot of time. I am interested in buying one. do I need to buy an oven too?
i fully understand. We did vinyl for years and were very successful with it, but DTF has so much potential. There's so many factors that come into play when recommending a printer. I think for starting off i would go with the F8 or F13. it's about a $900 difference between the two (printer with oven). The F8 will print a max width of up to 8.2 inches and the F13 will do 13 inches wide. I would strongly recommend getting a DTF oven, even if it's not from procolored. There's a crucial step where after you've sprinkled on the adhesive powder, it needs to be melted. you could use a heat press to do it, but it would take effort and time. not very convenient as it takes about 2-3 minutes to melt the powder. with the oven it's more streamlined and free you up to do other things while the image is being cured. hope that helps
this is the vacation kit: www.procolored.com/collections/consumables/products/printer-print-head-moisturizing-device?ref=HaiandTerrie&variant=42756192665781 just select your printer model
Great video! You did not mention setting the powder in an oven or under the heat press (unless I missed it). Did you have to go through the process of setting the powder with the oven?
Hi, yeah i left out some of the printing process itself and wanted to talk about the printer, maintenance. i do have a video that talks about the printing process here ruclips.net/video/3zZh5S37vyM/видео.html. we do add the adhesive powder to the print and then bake it in an oven made for DTF prints. the temperature is set to 110-120 Celsius for about 3 minutes
Something mid range with decent RAM (16GB+) would work perfectly fine ($500-$1000). You don't need to max out everything to run t-shirt printing software, in this case PRO RIP. In my video i was running the software on a cheap $100 laptop. hope that helps.
procolored ink only. i personally don't want to risk losing tons of business due to quality issues by using non reputable/proven ink. from my experience the original ink is super durable. i made some videos on the wash test. adhesive powder quality makes for a better print as well.
Hi, great video, where do I find the long term storage kit that you showed at 4:50 into the video? Also do you think any of the other brands that refit EPSON L1800 printers to become DTF are equally as good? I am looking at the AOK A3+ L1800 with roller feed. I learned so much from you, thank you so much!!!!
i have the links in the description. I have not tried other brands so I honestly wouldn't know. Is that an Amazon brand I didn't see their website. Perhaps contact their customer service and see how quickly they respond, how helpful they are. that way in the future if something goes wrong you'll know that they're willing to help.
you want to wear a mask for the powder, and during the baking process open the windows. there's a filter you can buy to help with the fumes as well. the oven is small enough where i can leave it on my deck or porch lol
Great video dude! Question regarding the saving ink thing, say you’re printing on a white shirt, and it’s pointless to use white ink on it, can’t you remove the whites in photoshop to make them transparent before you upload it into the procolored software?

i've never used a white toner but i have seen a few videos about it. i would recommend doing your research on both, compare prices, maintenance, cost of consumables, features. if you're just doing this for family shirts and for fun i wouldn't get either of these printing methods. I would just get heat transfer paper.
Can this method be used for cups, Plated, magnets and signs? Do you still need a cutting machine such as cricut? And what materials are needed to use this printer for the mentioned items in my comment? Thank you so much for this very informative video and your knowledge.
great question. this printer is made for apparel. if you want something that will stick on hard surfaces like the ones you mentioned, you would want to check out UV DTF printers and UV Printers. UV DTF printers make stickers that you can stick on to various different surfaces. they're permanent, and not something you can peel and reuse. UV printers print directly onto the item, i've never used one so i don't know too much about it. you do not need a cutting machine for DTF printers. DTF printers need DTF ink, adhesive powder, and film. i would recommend getting a DTF oven to melt the adhesive. if you're confused about the printing process I made a video about the DTF printing process here: ruclips.net/video/3zZh5S37vyM/видео.htmlsi=uQfG0LRRJKzOgq2m now for UV DTF printers you will need UV DTF Ink, a liquid called Varnish, and the A-B film. those consumables typically come with the printer.
Have been looking into a printer for awhile now, seen this one before, but I was also interested in a R1390 setup I saw. Any advice on that setup, if? you would know, would be greatly appreciated! I'm very hesitant on all of the printers because of the warranties or lack there of...thx your video was the best help!
The R1390 and L1800 setup should be identical since the only difference is the print head. Their tech support is pretty responsive from my experience. The thing you have to know is that their based in China so the time difference may not be convenient. If there are parts that are defective or need replacement, they'll send you the parts and instruction videos but ultimately you will have to do it yourself. there is a repair center but it's somewhere in California (LA area).
@@HaiTech Thank you for the fast reply , I’ve been very hesitant to buy the printer. Lots of complaints on issues and maintenance. $3k -$4k is a lot of money. Plus I have all Apple products the printer won’t even work with my computers and laptops.
Yeah, if you are printing professionally and making money then get this machine. if you are just trying to test the waters and not making any money from printing...then i wouldn't

Thank you so much for such a detailed info on the machine. Do you need the oven to cure the sheets
You need heat. Whether that’s a cure oven that you buy from them or an oven in your kitchen is up to you. You could probably get away with a countertop toaster oven. It does have a smell so make sure there’s plenty of ventilation
Thank you very much for your honesty 🙏🤗
of course! thanks for stopping by and watching
Very helpful! I’m looking into getting into doing this full time! Can you drop a link on which printer this is? Or the newest model with the agitator like the comments suggest?
www.procolored.com/products/13-single-head-dtf-printer-roll?ref=HaiandTerrie&variant=42254564065461 L1800 model. what printing method are you currently using now?
Just the video I needs to watch!
😃
thank you so much
Great video thank you
thanks, are you planning on getting into DTF printing? what printing method are you currently using?
Seriously the best video
many thanks! 😃
You are gold!!!!!!
Appreciate the info! Thx!
This is great information
Thanks mate!!
which printer did you use in the video? What printer would you recommend now to be using? Thank you!
I use the F13 model in this video. it's also known as the L1800/F13. I would need to know more about your business and where you're at before recommending a printer.
The best video
@@HaiTech I greatly appreciate your response and suggestion. Thank you so much @HaiTech!
Can you share the link to purchase the tubing you showed for when you aren't going to be using for a bit.
this is the vacation kit: www.procolored.com/collections/consumables/products/printer-print-head-moisturizing-device?ref=HaiandTerrie&variant=42756192665781
just select your printer model
Great video! You did not mention setting the powder in an oven or under the heat press (unless I missed it). Did you have to go through the process of setting the powder with the oven?
Hi, yeah i left out some of the printing process itself and wanted to talk about the printer, maintenance. i do have a video that talks about the printing process here ruclips.net/video/3zZh5S37vyM/видео.html. we do add the adhesive powder to the print and then bake it in an oven made for DTF prints. the temperature is set to 110-120 Celsius for about 3 minutes
Thank you... I will check that video out!
Excellent video very detailed. Thank you.
do you know of a way for this to work with a mac book pro?
i think you would need a software that will allow for you to run windows on mac in order to use Procolored software.
@HaiTech yea, I've been looking at hp and Dell laptops all day. Is there one you suggest for a t shirt business?
Something mid range with decent RAM (16GB+) would work perfectly fine ($500-$1000). You don't need to max out everything to run t-shirt printing software, in this case PRO RIP. In my video i was running the software on a cheap $100 laptop. hope that helps.
I did not see the kit you used when on vacation on the procolored website. Could you please provide the link or the name of the kit. Thanks

Awesome 👏
Very detailed. Good job
Excellent informative video, quick question do use any other white ink brand or just procolored brand only. Thanks.
procolored ink only. i personally don't want to risk losing tons of business due to quality issues by using non reputable/proven ink. from my experience the original ink is super durable. i made some videos on the wash test. adhesive powder quality makes for a better print as well.
Great video and content, thanks! Do you get fumes from this printer? Worried about the smell and toxicity.
you want to wear a mask for the powder, and during the baking process open the windows. there's a filter you can buy to help with the fumes as well. the oven is small enough where i can leave it on my deck or porch lol
Thank you for the reply and tips Hai!
Very thorough video. Thank you! This was a great demonstration and very easy to understand. Enjoyed your video.
Glad you enjoyed it! Have you used DTF before?
@@HaiTech No, I was thinking of buying it and after watching your video, I'm gonna get one!
awesome, there's a discount code in the description if you decide to buy it. thanks!
Great video dude!
Question regarding the saving ink thing, say you’re printing on a white shirt, and it’s pointless to use white ink on it, can’t you remove the whites in photoshop to make them transparent before you upload it into the procolored software?
Yes you can! Hopefully in a future update the rip software can do that without having to use photoshop.
Great video! Could you paste a link to the store where you bought the printer maintainance kit - tubes with cartrige set? Tnx

Best video I have seen so far. Planning to make t shirts for my daughter, not everyday use. Should I get dtf or white toner. Thank you
i've never used a white toner but i have seen a few videos about it. i would recommend doing your research on both, compare prices, maintenance, cost of consumables, features. if you're just doing this for family shirts and for fun i wouldn't get either of these printing methods. I would just get heat transfer paper.
Thanks 🙏
Broooo! Great video. Ty
DTF printers need DTF ink, adhesive powder, and film. i would recommend getting a DTF oven to melt the adhesive. if you're confused about the printing process I made a video about the DTF printing process here: ruclips.net/video/3zZh5S37vyM/видео.htmlsi=uQfG0LRRJKzOgq2m
now for UV DTF printers you will need UV DTF Ink, a liquid called Varnish, and the A-B film. those consumables typically come with the printer.
Very detailed video. Thank you for your insight. What heat press brand do you use or recommend?
it really depends on your budget and what you're using it for. Are you doing it for Hobby/fun or Professionally (making money).
Are you currently in USA? And did you order shipping from China or USA? Thanks in advance for the answer
yes i am in USA, mine was shipped from China warehouse. it took less than 5 days. if USA is available just order from USA. hope that helps.
If there are parts that are defective or need replacement, they'll send you the parts and instruction videos but ultimately you will have to do it yourself. there is a repair center but it's somewhere in California (LA area).
thanks for video, i m planning to get the L1800 & Oven bundle, will you recommend i wait the black friday , see if have any discount ? thanks!!
nice. I am guessing they may have something for black friday. are you just starting the business or have an establish shop?
Great video and good info!! Just want to confirm this only works with window , I can’t use my Mac.. right ?
That is correct
@@HaiTech Thank you for the fast reply , I’ve been very hesitant to buy the printer. Lots of complaints on issues and maintenance. $3k -$4k is a lot of money. Plus I have all Apple products the printer won’t even work with my computers and laptops.
Yeah, if you are printing professionally and making money then get this machine. if you are just trying to test the waters and not making any money from printing...then i wouldn't
