Mylo, Congradulations on joining the digital print industry. I am glad to see someoine as young as yourself breacking in. I'm not super old but lets say when I statred, embroidery was done on huge paper rolls, and the machine read punch holes!!! Anyway, I'm also glad you are taking advantage of the flexibility the DTF will add to your production line. I started with sublimation decades ago when 4-color process was the way it was. But I too saw the light. As soon as I could I got a DTG printer after they became less expensive and more profitable. Anyway we are looking at the Procolor as a way to get back into the market and kick it up a notch with our embroidery, laser printing, and sublimation. I look forward to watch your adventure.
Greetings from the great Navajo Nation! after 19 yrs of screen printing i invested in a prestige dtf printer also ( 8,000.00 ). After owning it for ONLY a year, my whites gave out and wont print anymore. i say stay with ordering your dtf sheets / gangsheets online! dtf machines require A LOT of maintenance.... DAILY!
I have to thank you for this video! For years I've had the most disgusting looking laundry soap cup! This is day 1 of just cleaning it while you clean the laundry! You're the greatest for sharing with everyone.
I stayed away from those machines... I've heard of several people that have had those machines and they clog really bad. Mind you the product is pretty good and washable BUT, yes, even the company that I do get DTFs from has down days because their machine is clogged , 2-3 days with no production.
Agreed, stay away from this company. They offer only a 6 month warranty on printhead and motherboard on this $3K machine. Both failed in less than a year with zero support. They say buy another printhead and motherboard for another 700. Stay aaway!!!
2 important tips for your new DTF business: 1. Safety First: Handle the Adhesive with Care Proper Ventilation: DTF adhesive, due to its chemical composition, can emit potentially hazardous fumes. It is essential to work in a well-ventilated area. If possible, use a localized exhaust system to remove fumes at the source. Personal Protection: Always wear nitrile gloves resistant to solvents and, ideally, an organic vapor mask when handling and applying the adhesive. Read the Safety Data Sheet: Carefully review the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) provided by the adhesive manufacturer. This sheet contains crucial information on health risks, precautions to take, and emergency procedures. 2. Softness to the Touch: The Secret of the Double Pass First Pass: Ink Fixation: After placing the DTF transfer on the fabric, perform a first pass with the heat press at the temperature and time recommended by the DTF film manufacturer. This pass primarily serves to fix the ink to the fabric. Second Pass: Soft Finish: Remove the hot (or cold, depending on the instructions) film and cover the print with a sheet of Teflon or, even better, silicone-coated paper. Perform a second pass with the heat press, generally at a slightly lower temperature and for a shorter time than the first pass. This pass helps to "fuse" the ink further into the fabric, making the print softer and more resistant to washing.
I have just one question if cut small print from the film paper , can i still print the remaining film without leaks? because i feel like cutting out a whole film will be a waste. So i need some advice im not good with printer. I am thinking about buying this printer but no idea whether to buy roller fed printer or sheet fed. I am beginner at t shirt business. please help
Hey my brother- my wife owns one of these exact models. I want to know of any available programs for creating DTF IMAGES - as of now she buys images. Which kinda takes away from whatever lil profit she can make. So I was trying to see what programs are out there- this question is for anyone
Hey Mylo grest video man, please please please take nesscary precaution when using these. Dtf powder can be very dangerous as its so fine it csn essily go airborne and givr you health problems. Please use proper ventahlation and proper PPE.
Been thinking about this buy for a while for my art on tees. I come from the tee world too and Im just asking from one tee head to the next is it worth it?
Hey Milo I do screen printing . I get big orders from friends and friends of friends. How can I get big orders from people online? Where do I advertise ? I know you do alot of screen printing which by the way your great at it. Do you have a physical shop where people just walk in? Just wondering
Just bought a printer just like yours. Same package and they accidentally gave me two of the small boxes with ink and powder. Pretty sweet deal in the end
Bro, I followed you and so far you’re the best in screen printing! Please don’t get involved in DTF! I lost money on Prestige A+3 machine just like the one you’re displaying right now. The other RUclips instructor that I used to follow dumped the machine because it doesn’t work right, especially the white ink drying up and not showing on the garment when you’re printing. You don’t need this, keep your reputation. Just saying!!!!!
Hey Mylo, God bless my brother in Christ! Love you videos. I wanted to know if you sell just the prints for the Lamb? If so, how much for about 5 small ones. Maybe 1.5”W X 2”H
Got the money get it earning to try new items and yes haters are o but I can still labor extra cost to or save customers extra momey but they just keep saying that wash off ect it's been already tested and it's cool that learn half toons since first video added on sharing info about screen printing but similar ways but a little less work and hands non dirty. And push quick orders as well .
exactly why i never order custom shirts! they try to nickel and dime you? it should be unlimited colors for any design period! it's only 1 shirt and 1 design. goh no way paying 25 30$ just to have my created design printed on a shirt
DTF sucks Screen Print is and always be the best and everyone knows it DTF is for people who are lazy and don't care about quality sorry people its the truth junk from the 80's is back
no model of those 🖨 printers is worth buying the heads are covered and no matter how clean they are, they are not the same again. at first the ink is great and after a few months it ceases to be the same even if it cam 😡😡👎👎👎

How do they look after a few washes? Ive seen a few look like a rugged sticker on the shirt.
Love the video and honest review.
everything I have seen about DTF means daily maintenance to keep the white from clogging up the nozzle and making it have to be replaced.
Maintanence does not take long but do it every day. it is worth it

DTF printer indeed has a learning curve to learn the maintenance and troubleshooting, but the investment is worth it

Wear a respirator when working with that dust, bad news
The print came out beautifully

To create designs I use 2 programs easy one is Kittl, the second one will be Corel Draw this one is a bit more complex to work with …
@ thank you
thanks for sharing
Is teeshirts all you can do with this printer, What about signs on metal backend is that possible?
Just letting you know you left the scratch protection film on the over heat plate.
Make sure you turn the shirt inside out as that will increase the longevity of your designs on the apparel

Please be careful with the powder. I see people complaining about working with it in their home.
What are people saying? Because I've only seen one person saying something.
They say if you inhale it it can cause cancer with frequent usage of it.
@@Nani_Of3 The powder is toxic. Use proper safety methods when working with it.
Congratulations Mylo's.
Time to use Photoshop for breathable print on clothes.
Halftoning and knocking out the clothe color.
Would have been good to see two done and compared the unwashed to washed.
Been thinking about this buy for a while for my art on tees. I come from the tee world too and Im just asking from one tee head to the next is it worth it?
Thank you!!!
Mylo I dropped the screw just like that as well on my install for my printer😂.
The prints last through multiple washes and can take normal heat in a dryer without issues. The materials used are quality for sure.
Is there a machine more simpler than this i can do at home?

how much are they please ?
Mylo always figured out in seconds before video of course
How much is the ink?
Careful with the powder. Wear protection. At the very least a respiratory mask. There is anonther youtuber that got cancer from the powder.

Keeps the cup clean
I do same, if it is one color tees 12 is min, more than 1 color 24 count and up.
How many hundreds of shirts do you need to sell to recoup the price of that $4000 printer?

You should wear gloves and a respirator when handing the powder.
Yes, I would wear it for safe precautions
I also purchased a fume extractor
Be safe!!!
PLEASE WEAR PPE, PLEASE 🙏🏼
Dope video but in the DTF world, this is the worst built DTF printer ever made.
Panda Pete....? lol
Please wear a mask and goggles and gloves. SAFETY first.. 🙏🏽❤️
