    My prestige A3+R was no where near $15k. You have to buy film and ink like any other printer. Maintaining it gets easier with time as you learn. Also just printing transfers and shipping them out has been a great extra income with little work. Ive had mine a year now and its paid for itself. Any usdues i have with learning the support is there 100% of the time. I am the only one running my business.

    I haven’t seen the video yet, but dtf is beautiful, I got the money back in my first job. Only advice is before get involved in this business you have to learn how to edit your art, don’t jump in this business without that knowledge. Knowing a bit of computers will help a lot. If you don’t know anything about computers or editing softwares this job is a nightmare

    I wouldn’t say don’t buy a DTF printer. What I would say is do a lot of research on the one you are hoping to purchase. I bought the L1800 DTF printer for $3500 December 2022 and by May 2023 the printhead had to be replaced. By the way when replacing the printhead they also recommend you to replace the waste tank and that combo is $321. By September 2023 I had to replace the printhead and waste tank again for another $321. After going back and fourth with the company that I purchased the printer from I decided that I didn’t want to deal with that anymore and I bought an industrial type printer from a US based company for $12000 in December 2023 and here I am in February 2024 just two months after purchase and already having issues with this one. These printers produce some really great prints but the maintenance that comes along with them is very time consuming and frustrating. So again, I wouldn’t say don’t buy one, just make sure you are purchasing one that has great maintenance support.

    • @Garmentcreations
      @Garmentcreations  9 месяцев назад +5

      When I started reading this I thought you was gonna say that you found one that works great 🤦🏾‍♂️ But than it sounded like every other complaint I have gotten. • @ChevyDex315
    @ChevyDex315 7 месяцев назад +10

    Nah, I rather print my own. Rather than designing, ordering, waiting for it to arrive and then applying it. Lead time for a custom shirt would be a few weeks? Not mentioning if it gets lost or damaged in transit. Not worth it. Start off with a $1,400 dtf printer and a small heat press. From there scale up after you make a profit, as your sales grow so will your equipment.

Yea you need RIP software I used Cadlink . Once you get things going it is beautiful. Yes you have to do maintenance. There are many support groups on Facebook I am in a couple of them and have learned so much . Keep you heads in the game and perfect this craft . When you are ready to get that big machine . You would have made more than enough to get it. Good luck ❤

Do not buy any kind of product this expensive if they do not provide support within the USA.
