Did you add the dtf ink in before you unplug the printer to take out the rollers and install the external waste tank.

From here on out you need the Chipless firm installed to get it to print white? Am I missing anything else
I did the conversion with the original cartridges just like the video showed then at the end replaced with the dtf ink was that not correct? Now the printer will not recognize the refillable cartridges. Help please ☹️

Very new to printing, currently researching printers to buy, interested in doing dtf however would still love to be able to do sublimation as well. Once this printer has been converted to dtf could you still do sublimation too? Or would I need to purchase another printer? Thanks so much!
You’re welcome and you will want to buy a separate printer for sublimation!

Can i still convert my printer after I've already been using it as a regular printer?
Hello and thanks for watching! You should be able to still convert you just have to make sure you throughly clean out your carts or replace them with new ones.
After you convert though do not update your printer.

So I converted my xp 15000 to dtf with C.I.S ...
But I was able to print the white all four other colors print when my nozzle check but not the white..
Can it be the wrong type of white..
Or any suggestions?
What software are you using?

can you convert a used EPSON XP-15000 to DTF
I believe you can and it would be the same steps, just make sure you get DTF Ink and new cartridges or you would have to drain out the old ones and flush the ink out. They do have videos on how to do that as well.

So do you use the same ink that originally comes with the printer?
Humble.... definitely NOT. make sure you use DTF ink. Either empty the cartridges that already come with the printer or buy new ink cartridges then fill
Where do you get the tubing for the maintenance box
Hello new here, does it have to be a brand new print, already have one, I don’t use?
As long as you can take the wheels out that you seen me take out and change the cartilages you should be fine.
The chip reader you listed doesnt show compatibility to the xp-15000. Did you mean to do that?
The chip reader is compatible with the 15000.
Why did you stop using the 15000
Hey so I had a brand epson XP 15000 that I literally bought to convert to DTF but when I was doing the modifications I thought I damaged the print head so I ran the printer with regular ink to see if it damaged or not do I have to do something before I put DTF ink

Yes you can just make sure the other ink is completely out.

Hello! So the system is going show you a notification on your printer that you need to replace it. You can also check your levels on the printer as well!

Hello if you get the role of DTF paper you probably could but it would take a lot longer and I don’t think it would hold up for a long term.
I'm curious to know the maintenance box you have in your hand is that the original one? Where does the waste tank go/ how do you install the other end of the hose into the waste tank? I'm sorry if this should be clear already. I'm very new to this, so any help is greatly appreciated.
HI Rebecca, the waste hose (Yellow) she put on coming from the waste tank, I have my hose coming from the back into a 2ltr plastic coke bottle. Works a treat
Hello, thanks for the video, I converted everything exactly the same on my XP-15000 but unfortunately the colors are pale and not bright. Do you have any tips or could you please do a tutorial with the software you use to print (I use Acrorip 10.3)
Hello thanks for watching, I do have a video of me printing some transfers and making and shirt and in that video I go over Cadlink just a little. I have not used ACRORIP so I don’t know the settings on that software however between playing with the software settings and the printer settings you should be able to adjust the colors. Also look into another INK brand because that could be the issue to.

No, there's isn't a space for white ink.
