Metallica has too many , too many good songs for a top 10. But personally for me , the most moving , the most touching song is To Live Is To Die. Metallica hit the Apex with this one. Intricate construction along with the Perfect mid section and an oddly comforting intro. I think this song is one of Metallica's greatest achievements. It makes you cry. One can literally feel the pain of Cliff's demise Truly sublime.

I'm more of a rock guy than thrash metal but why does everyone go away from their post-Black Album material? Sure its not Master of Puppets (which I love btw) but they are still great. I love songs like Until it Sleeps, The Memory Remains, Unforgiven 1-3 (especially 3), Fuel, Whiskey in the Jar, Turn the Page, All Nightmare Long but they don't get as much attention as their early albums. I love their early stuff and the Black Album as well, don't get me wrong. If it ain't thrash it doesn't mean its bad.

Everything, maybe I am exaggerating. But I love anything on the first 5 (even Escape), and some songs on the following 3 albums, and then I love everything in the last 2 albums and on the Garage Inc covers album.
+SigmaTV I'm with you on that. I'm a huge Metallica fan, and with the exception of St. Anger, almost every album they made had plenty of songs I really liked.

6.One - song that got me into metallica
7.Halo on fire - some guitar parts just get stuck in ur head
8. Dream no More - shits all over sat but true which i alwsys found overrated and Boring
9. Frayed ends of sanity: the middle part of the song pumps me up
10. Bleeding me : underrated song starts slow but just explodes

Of wolf and man? Seriously? Unforgiven is decent I guess. Call of ktulu is ok. Blackened is freaking awesome. ...And justice for all is one of my favorites. WHY IS UNTIL IT SLEEPS BETTER TO YOU THAN JUSTICE AND BLACKENED?! Sad but true is absolutely amazing. Harvester of Sorrow is pretty good. Nothing Else Matters is too overrated, fight me. Orion.. well, that was a really good choice for number 1.
In total, this list is a 5/10. Some of the choices were pretty bad.
You might as well put all of Kill 'Em All besides "Seek And Destroy" (Already on the 1st list) on the honorable mentions.

Metallica has too many , too many good songs for a top 10. But personally for me , the most moving , the most touching song is To Live Is To Die.
Metallica hit the Apex with this one. Intricate construction along with the Perfect mid section and an oddly comforting intro. I think this song is one of Metallica's greatest achievements. It makes you cry. One can literally feel the pain of Cliff's demise

I'm more of a rock guy than thrash metal but why does everyone go away from their post-Black Album material? Sure its not Master of Puppets (which I love btw) but they are still great. I love songs like Until it Sleeps, The Memory Remains, Unforgiven 1-3 (especially 3), Fuel, Whiskey in the Jar, Turn the Page, All Nightmare Long but they don't get as much attention as their early albums. I love their early stuff and the Black Album as well, don't get me wrong. If it ain't thrash it doesn't mean its bad.
