I wonder if the low cups were in fact intentional. The fashionable bustline at this point was much lower than seems normal to us now... In "Šněrovačku nebo korzet / Stays or a Corset" the 1910s corset has bust cup pattern pieces that reach below the waistline! P.S. And if I remember correctly, that pattern is quite similar to this one. Anyway, this looks like it will be a great starting point to an outfit.
Hmm... An interesting point. You might be right! However, I do have a long back so I usually have to add height to get the bust line right. If I had left the cups hanging that low, I would have needed to pad them quite heavily!

Not at all. It fits pretty naturally. I even left a bit room that I can adjust the bust slightly with the ribbon I threaded theough the lace.
