      The very last one before his tragic assassination in August of that year.

      He was a notorious paedophile, here in Northern Ireland young boys from childrens homes were taken to him for his pleasure during his many stays in Ireland, many of his victims have testified to it, most notably boys from the now notorious Kincora boys home. Even now MI5 have blocked all enquiries into KIncora.
      The same day that he was blown up, 18 British soldiers were also killed at Warrenpoint, that was a real tragedy, and people are still trying to get their heads around how that actually happened, as so many things contradict the official version of events.

    I’ve always preferred the design of the rose and thistle intertwined than the lion rampant. Not saying I dislike the lion rampant, but I think the rose and thistle look better on the regimental colours. God Save the King of Canada!

    Not a black gaurd in sight, last of the best of our army and it went down hill after 1982, all standards started to lower, to allow certain groups into the forces !!

    • @midnightteapot5633
      @midnightteapot5633 2 года назад +8

      And no females in the bands ! I am with you on that point . The WRAC had a fine band to themselves , as did the WRAF in earlier years . You could find black soldiers and shorter guys in the other corps or regiments and that is fine and good , but the Guards should have held on to the standards that set them apart from everyone else and made them the pride of our country.

      Not until the 9Os looking back if they kept the army at about 110 000 if 556 smmo was to be introduced then the canadian demaco c7should have been chosen instead of sa 80 but standards and height are gone and its very hard to recruit with the perverts they allow in today.

      The colour of your skin does not matter in the armed forces. Anyone of any background and ethnicity and religion can join if they meet the standards. This comment is blatantly racist.

    • @stormcuber2461
      @stormcuber2461 8 месяцев назад +10

      Allowing people of colour joining the military did not result in loss of standards, they are still upkept.
      This comment is just extremely racist, tons of people of colour who have served in the British Army have laid down their lives in service of the country whether they be from Africa, the Carribean, or other nations like specalist infantry such as the Royal Gurkha Rifles who are Nepalese.
