I watch this every year on tv, in honour of my late dad, we watched it every year as a family, brings back happy memories of my dad , a soldier in ww2,, i think this year it will be part of the Queens Celebrations,, look forward to watching it all.. a great honour ..
Trooping the colour is usually shown in full on BBC 1. I think it is known as BBC America over your side of the pond. It lasts for a good few hours, as The Queen and other working members of the royal family attend including (Prince Charles the prince of wales-the heir to the throne, Prince William (Duke of Cambridge) -charles' eldest son, Princess Anne -The Princess Royal(the Queens only daughter), Prince Edward (Earl of Wessex) Queens youngest son, plus all their spouses and their children. Thanks for watching it, keep the reactions coming. 😁🇬🇧
You should check out the celebrations that will take place begining of June, it is the platinum jubilee celebrating Queens 70 years on the throne. Everyone in the UK is getting two extra days off (the Thursday and Friday, with pay as bank holidays, a 4 day weekend) to celebrate the special events that are taking place throughout the UK and also to watch the jubilee celebrations that Buckingham palace is putting on, along with trooping the colour as usual. Tom cruise is actually presenting one of the events taking place London along with many many more famous people, including actors, singers, sports stars, and other celebrities etc. It's well worth watching. Will all be shown on BBC as it's the UK's national broadcasting corporation. Thousands are expected to be in attendance in London to watch the celebrations at Buckingham palace over the 4 days (Thursday to Sunday). It will probably be Her Majesty's last jubilee (as she is 96yrs old) so well worth watching, as you will see just how patriotic the UK is about The Queen band how much we all love her. Enjoy watching it.

yes millions of brits watch this every year. I started watching with my dad when I was about 5 years old and I'm now 48 and only missed a couple of them.. due to being out the country at the time. one time I was enjoying the sun in Florida :) love from UK
I will always remember going see this in London 2003 when I was 7. I was amazed seeing the beauty and will never forget the smile of our late queen when she looked and waved at me. She was in a lovely Royal blue outfit ❤
I do watch it every year. When she was young enough Queen Elizabeth would be in uniform on horseback and stayed in position with her horse during the entire ceremony. It was impressive. I'm so glad you were able to show it with Welshman, Hugh Edwards commentating. I always enjoy his commentary 🙂
For me the most emotional military spectacle is the march by of soldiers and veterans past the cenotaph on remembrance Sunday the 11th of November. If you can get through that without shedding a tear, watching all the old soldiers with their medals on display then you must have a heart of stone !!! Feeling the love from our colonial cousins, the feeling is most mutual !! x x
My brother was a sergeant in the Coldstream Guards. The one and only time he did trooping the colour, he fainted 😆. He was in the national newspaper and everything! Mind you, it was a baking hot day, and those uniforms are no joke. We Brits do pomp and ceremony very well, I love it.
You will never see a more drilled and in sync military parade anywhere else.. the sheer amount of prep and rehearsal that goes into this is incredible.. every inch of every soldiers uniform is polished 1000000 times (not literally) if there is the tiniest spec of dust anywhere. They get chewed up.. everything has to be pristine condition.. the queens gonna be watching after all lol.. love the respect you guys showed... 2 hands 1 body.. bothers across the ocean.. 🇬🇧🇺🇲
You need to watch a video about The red Arrows. They are a part of the Royal Air Force and are an air acrobatic team. I believe they will be performing at the Queen’s jubilee in June. I presume as it is a massive occasion it will be televised in most countries. There will be concerts and all sorts of types of entertainment.
I’m lucky enough to see them all the time whilst they are training as I’m from Lincolnshire which is famous for its air bases and the dam busters. Barnes Wallis and the bouncing bomb came from here too
We've never lost one fighting along side each other, alright we take the piss ,but its only banter, But if anyone threatens either Country ,or Canada ,Australia and New Zealand, we will be along side in an instant.
Natasha & Debbie you said it beautifully, very proud as you know my dad was in the USA army and airforce but served mostly in the UK, I did tear up too, love the T shirt it fits perfectly
If you watch past trooping of the colour you will see the Queen on horse back. When I took the kids to see it many years ago I was holding my youngest son who was three at the time, as the Queen rode down the Mall in her red uniform she turned to look at us which was very special.
I watch the trooping every year, and I want to say THANK YOU to both of you. As an American and anglophile since I was 10 (i'm 60 now) I've been in love with England and the Empire and all things British for decades. Most of these American Reacts videos end up showing the Americans a very unknowledgable in concerns towards history and historical things. I want to say THANK YOU again for you both being so well informed and smart and just awesome folks. BTW I am a retired history teacher.
You need to watch our Royal Air Forces ‘Red Arrows’ display team. They visited the US & had a great reception from the people. There are numerous videos showing their precision flying. We are very proud of them. Best wishes ladies 👍
love the fact that a majority of Americans love the pomp and circumstance of our military and Royal parades ...hoping you enjoy our Queen and Countries platinum Jubillee Celebrations in June.

I have just found your channel and just love you Ladies. I was born and grew up in the UK and now live in Canada. I cannot put into words how much my heart was bursting with pride watching The Trooping of The Colour. I have seen it many times, however, there is a quote from a Dr Johnson, a man credited with being responsible for the dictionary. He said ‘Sir, When a Man Is Tired Of London, He Is Tired Of Life’. The same can be said of seeing this stunning display of the military. I have subscribed to your channel.
I served In Afghanistan as a british tank regiment soldier and I was blessed to have worked with the US forces .. we seem so different in many ways but we will 100% give our lives for each other.. we had some sad times and good times legends..
Hi ladies this video was so amazing and watching your reaction to it was brilliant. You love for learning about our country and our traditions is so lovely to see and so heartwarming. We are one always and forever.
It is the romance of the history that is on display, the passion of every person serving in the British military. We volunteer to serve and it is a life choice.
Lovely to see your reaction. Us Brits tend to take out traditions for granted. Shame it wasn’t an edited version of the whole ceremony, the Royal family leaving Buckingham Palace to travel up the mall to Horse Guards Parade to view and inspect the troooing and then back again to view the flyover from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.
I’m so proud to be British when I see this and knowing our boys will always have the U.S. by their side in battle made the part what you said about two hands together very heart pulling. I watched you get choked which set me off. Two nations 🇬🇧🇺🇸 = 1 ❤️
Everyone at about 3.35 in the video, listen carefully. Natasha definitely says "Active" and not Actors. If you've been watching The Natasha and Debbie Show videos then you'll know that they would NEVER (and I mean NEVER) disrespect either the UK or our military. They are always super respectful, this is what makes them so much better than other reactors. ❤
When I was younger I sometimes would watch this and as I grew to my twenties, thirties and forties, I became jaded and lost interest. Now I am middle age and I live in the US I must say that your enthusiasm and view point of this parade, is very contagious. IBecause of you girls, I now see this ancient ceremony in a new light and am so proud to be English. Thanks a to you two ladies, you are as awesome as this ceremony!!!
So glad the box arrived safely and that the Tshirts fit! so fitting for this video lol and also glad you like the ice cream/sweet signs and keyring etc. Should watch more of the Trooping the Colour when you can its cool to watch.
As someone who served in the British Army from '93 to '98, which was a life-defining experience, this to me is a very special video. For me, you focus on the most important things: service and duty. Those values together are the ties that bind the US and UK armed forces, and, as far as I'm concerned, always will. Thank-you for this!
Remember, ladies, Queen Elizabeth is an excellent horsewoman and very knowledgeable about all the manoeuvres. It's said she watches everything and is not slow in telling the Commanding Officers if she sees something she doesn't think is up to standard.
The pride in parading before Her Majesty outweighs all the hard work that goes into training for this superb spectacle. Thank you for sharing this (a British Army veteran now an American citizen).
Thank you for another great post! In response to your question, yes, Trooping the Colour is televised live on a Saturday morning. Edited highlights are shown Saturday evening and repeated on Sunday. I usually watch it because it's an amazing, precision spectacle. I also always watch the Remembrance Day Ceremony which is something you may wish to consider watching. It takes place on the 11th of November or the closest Sunday and involves all branches of the British Armed Forces and Veterans, Ex Service Personnel and their families as well as massed bands of course.
Great reaction video again Ladies. I was serving on a small-ish US base in Kabul as part of a contingent of about 50 British troops, mentoring the Afghan National Army. There was representation from all the other coalition members there so a great place to be based. Every week or two, the US Commander there let the British Senior Non Commissioned Officer run a parade to honour the latest fallen service personnel. We would lower and raise each coalition flag as part of each parade. Such a great honour and came away from that tour with some great friends in the US Army and US Marines. Great allies and proud to have served with you guys. 🇺🇸 🇬🇧
There’s a reason many model the selves off the British not only through ceremony but also training. This video was very refreshing and i love it thank you. Much love from the Uk. I always enjoy watching the trooping of the colour. Their drill is on another level, even though we and other serving still get to a standard for our own ceremonies.
I had the honour of meeting some American marines in our FOB along side some danish too and I have to say those Americans I met were some of the most amazing individuals I had met I remember sharing a cigar with a marine on Christmas Day after we finished our Sanger duty
I watch it every year and I'm very happy that this year it will be back here at Horseguards Parade, instead of Windsor Castle, where because of lack of space there was a smallet contingent of soldiers. I love it, and speaking as a very proud English woman I thank you for your lovely comments, our friends across the pond.
Lovely reaction! And I love the Union Jack T-Shirt, really suits you!!! Not seen this video in a while and forgotten it had been broken down into parts... which means you can watch the whole thing from the beginning in bite-sized lumps! No spoiler but; after the "foot" Guards march past the queen, first at a slow march, they then do it again in quick time. After that the Household cavalry come on and parade their colour. You'll be amazed at the horsemanship of the mounted bands, all in their gold uniforms! I'm sure you'll love the drum horses too... gonna stop now or I'll spoil it for you. Great reaction once again! Take care.

Great show, watch trouping of the colour every year, both my father and my son were in the army, my son was in Kandahar, Afghanistan with the American soldiers and has made some true and lasting friends from America, as you say we are the left and right hands of one body. So happy you liked your gift box. Look forward to Wednesday as always xxx

I am male, but a small one (5 foot 8 inches) but structurally slim; biceps as thin as my arms. However, I have worked in timberyards and physical labour and have a good grip. Salespeople etc have tried to crush my hands in a hand shake which has never bothered me, as I can squeeze back to match them. The biggest, natural and hardest handshake was from two sergeants in the Welsh division (I have never been in the army, I was just there to teach them maths in a week). All eight shook my hand when they passed the UK maths test. All of them shook my hand, but two of them nearly made my legs buckle. They were not even trying to prove anything it was just an incredible force. Those men were naturally strong, and I am glad I wouldn't have to fight them without a gun in my hand. Unbelievable strength.
Why not give our navy displays a try, I used to always watch field gun display, but manning the mast is also worth a look. You could also look at the differences between memorial day in USA and rememberance day is UK. To go all out how about the Rememberance Day at the Albert Hall always bring a tear to my eyes.
Nice video peeps, here's a suggestion, do a search for the royal tournament. It doesn't happen anymore but it's an incredible spectacle, particularly the running the gun carriages competition between the naval stations of Portsmouth and Devonport
I watch this every year, so proud of all of those wee souls that fight for us and defend us and then to be able to put on a display like this is incredible. Love them all!!
The best thing about this beautiful tradition is that it's an annual reminder to the government that they have no control over the armed forces. Every soldier there has made a personal oath of allegiance to the Queen and serves her alone.
Interesting, what happened in the Civil War when the Commonwealth of Cromwell was in power with respect to any raised army ? ( I suppose I am thinking of the use of the Army in Ireland by Cromwell - not that HM Forces were much better from time to time ). I think I would prefer it to be an oath to the people of GB/UK (though one could argue the Monarch is a personification of same), Ministers of Parliament also have to take an oath before they take their place on the benches at Westminster.
Am 77 year old and have watch nearly every year this parade. Only times I have missed this was when I was serving abroad. The parade continues with a quick and slow march for . Tis is shown in part 2 I believe. the Queen
I often travel in South East Asia and play a game with myself. Seeing how long I can go before seeing the Union Flag logo on a T-Shirt, handbag, trainers or some fashion item. I guarantee within 20 minutes I’ll see the logo on something. It seems to be everywhere in that part of the world. It must be one of the worlds most reproduced piece of graphics…

Its funny, I was in a royal guard for Princess Anne in New Zealand early 80's....the pride it instills in you is beyond belief. She is the Patron/Commander of RNZSignals.
Feeling the love from our colonial cousins, the feeling is most mutual !! x x
you really should watch the cenotaph service, now that's an emotional moment
I don't think. many Americans like to be described as colonised
@@mikewalsh6168 Yeah, I've been bombarded with complaints in the 5 months since this was posted, lighten up chuckles !!
I've been told that the advice given to the guards on hot days is never lock your knees. Apparently it helps to avoid fainting.
My father was a Grenadier guard who was a regular on Trooping the Colour.
Many memories!
One of the hottest days on record to that time in the UK from memory.
did he get put on a charge for it?
@Angelica I think everyone felt every sympathy for your brother...even if he got teased for it :)
I saw the Red Arrows a few years ago.when the performed in Bournemouth. They were amazing.
I’m lucky enough to see them all the time whilst they are training as I’m from Lincolnshire which is famous for its air bases and the dam busters. Barnes Wallis and the bouncing bomb came from here too
@@Jobladesuck my Great Grandpa was born in Boston, Lincolnshire.
They are THE aerobatic team!
@@Jobladesuck Shame they are selling off RAF Scampton though!
We've never lost one fighting along side each other, alright we take the piss ,but its only banter, But if anyone threatens either Country ,or Canada ,Australia and New Zealand, we will be along side in an instant.
You don't mess with family.
@@manuelgarcia2853 Love that!!!
The reason why America and Britain are hated is because those countries envy us 👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
LOVING this thread!! 😍
Natasha & Debbie you said it beautifully, very proud as you know my dad was in the USA army and airforce but served mostly in the UK, I did tear up too, love the T shirt it fits perfectly
If there's one thing we do well over here, it's tradition. Glad to see our cousins across the pond get chills from seeing this too! Stronger together!
Hi from the old country I'm sat here with tears of pride rolling down my face watch this every year at home much love to you guys
❤️❤️
BTW I am a retired history teacher.
we love you to, our American cousins.
You need to watch our Royal Air Forces ‘Red Arrows’ display team. They visited the US & had a great reception from the people. There are numerous videos showing their precision flying. We are very proud of them. Best wishes ladies 👍
Agreed, that was a brilliant tour, never get tired of watching it! 😁
love the fact that a majority of Americans love the pomp and circumstance of our military and Royal parades ...hoping you enjoy our Queen and Countries platinum Jubillee Celebrations in June.
Pomp and Ceremony. Pomp and Circumstance are a set of symphonies by Edward Elgar.
@@Lagerfanny-g7e I’ve seen the ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ comment several times over this sites posts, glad that you commented, I wasn’t quite sure wether to or not! 🇬🇧
Thank you Sir from a real English man
I served In Afghanistan as a british tank regiment soldier and I was blessed to have worked with the US forces .. we seem so different in many ways but we will 100% give our lives for each other.. we had some sad times and good times legends..
Hi ladies this video was so amazing and watching your reaction to it was brilliant. You love for learning about our country and our traditions is so lovely to see and so heartwarming. We are one always and forever.
I’m 70 years young this year and have watched the trooping every year since 1956 , great channel girls keep it up ,cheers phil
I just LOVE your genuine appreciation and love for the pomp and circumstance of the Trooping ... Thank you girls
❤
Thank you for your comments regarding our traditions it was great to see our late queen enjoying herself still cannot believe she is no longer with us
Thank-you for your lovely words .British people love the Americans and your Beautiful country
I'm not fighting back tears, my eyes are streaming. I love my American cousins and always have.
Absolutely love your passion and thanks. You are my favourite people on RUclips. The love for Britain is clear and yes we're more than allies.
We appreciate that! We're in this life and world together ❤️
We adored everything!! Thank you SO much!! ❤️
@@TheNatashaDebbieShow Aw you're so welcome 💖oh & yes you pronounced Norwich right we tend to not pronounce the w 🙂
Absolutely it's a must, you'll love it, you're virtually British anyway 😘😘😘
As someone who served in the British Army from '93 to '98, which was a life-defining experience, this to me is a very special video. For me, you focus on the most important things: service and duty. Those values together are the ties that bind the US and UK armed forces, and, as far as I'm concerned, always will. Thank-you for this!
Remember, ladies, Queen Elizabeth is an excellent horsewoman and very knowledgeable about all the manoeuvres.
It's said she watches everything and is not slow in telling the Commanding Officers if she sees something she doesn't think is up to standard.
It is well known that if a mistake is made the military top brass may not notice it but the Queen will.
Your British cousins love you too, Two hands One body across the pond.❤🤍💙
I love you girls. You cheer me up when i am feeling down every time.
How charmingly complimentary you are! I was impressed and very moved by your generous enthusiasm.
Those signs of ice cream so cool memories of my childhood
Watch it every year makes me cry ,glad you ladies enjoyed it from England 🇬🇧❤️
Love back to you too, from all your friends in the UK xxxx
Take care.
We can feel your pride I just wish all British people would . My father was in The Royal Air Force. The pride is always there ❤
Same here.
Just when you thought it was all over "and then we're ready for the formal trooping to begin" 🤣
Being ex British military when the national anthem played I got goose bumps. Glad you enjoyed the video. this is something we do very well.
Dear Debbie and Natasha, great show. In the opening you stated that someone told you to watch the
2012 Trooping the Colour. I think you would find it particularly interesting. You should be able to access it by by clicking on You tube and requesting Trooping the Colour 2012. The BBC show it live every year then show it on You tube. The first 20 mins is of particular interest to your great country.
I hope you will be able to access it successfully.
Keep up the good work, Nick a British fan
Love you ladies and how you react to everything you review. Keep it going and as UK Veteran I love your US/UK brotherhood attitude xx
Thank you & more importantly, thank you for your service ❤️❤️
i married a grenadier guardsman 46 years this year i was in the QARANC,my husband took part in the troop
God bless you girls. Big love from the United Kingdom 🇬🇧
I watch it wverybyear and have done for 50 + years. Never forget what the colour stands for ❤ its a very precious thing.
Every gold ribbon on the colours (the flag) represents a battle honour. It's a lot of battles over a lot of years.
Loved your passion and commentary, it is just so touching. I have great pride watching Trooping the Colour, it’s something we have grown up with and part of our culture. I loved your comments about us being from the same body - you’re so right!! I am
Scottish and my Mum was born and brought up in New York and almost all my family are in America so I feel such loyalty to both countries as they are both mine ♥️🇬🇧🇺🇸🏴
Watch the journey of the “Unknown Soldier” to his final resting place in Westminster Cathedral. VERY MOVING
We have something VERY special planned this month... stay tuned!
As a English man you ladies are fabulous glamorous lovely’s. Thank you for educating all who want it. 🇬🇧
I was privedged to attend the Trooping of the Colour for the Queen's 90th birthday, the last time the Duke of Edinburgh.
The 2 of you are amazing It's great to see 2 of our American cousins feeling good things about our military and tradition As we do about our American allies
Thank you very much 😊
Hi Ladies,
Really enjoyed your reactions to The Troop. I was an Australian in the British Army in this Regiment, Scots Guards. Good to learn more about Americans and individual Americans to counter my stereotypical thinking! I like you guys.
Your British cousin love u too 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸 when u coming over for 6 months you might need that to cover too to bottom off the whole of the uk. Would love to give u a tour off Yorkshire xxx
We are the best at giving a show but dont forget all those men are fighting soldiers.
i was in the grenadier guards for 14 years i did 3 tours of northern ireland cyprus hong kong germany ect bless you for your support x
Thank you so very much for your service!!!
Why not give our navy displays a try, I used to always watch field gun display, but manning the mast is also worth a look. You could also look at the differences between memorial day in USA and rememberance day is UK. To go all out how about the Rememberance Day at the Albert Hall always bring a tear to my eyes.
Good shout!!
@@tonywilkinson6895 I think manning the mast by the cadets is now retired ?
@@highpath4776 Pretty sure it’s not been done for at least 15 years
Nice video peeps, here's a suggestion, do a search for the royal tournament. It doesn't happen anymore but it's an incredible spectacle, particularly the running the gun carriages competition between the naval stations of Portsmouth and Devonport
@tacfoley Why not do both ?

I whistle the British grenadier alot.i had the privilege of knowing a true soldier Wally Massey ex airborne guards served with me I A,C,f, sadly passed on I knew him for 25yrs .he loved a drink too .he used to joke about putting himself on a charge.when he had too much .I love and miss him a true soldiers soldiers.i imagine Wally's spirit gripping any soldier on parade who gets it wrong .I swell with pride when I watch trooping the colours and I think of him ex grenadier & airborne guard.

Hello, just stumbled on your channel. I appreciate you reviewing the Trooping of the Colour, which I watch every year, as part of the Queen's Birthday. I was very touched to see you wearing the union jack, plus both of your expressions of enjoyment watching the Troop. How lovely to see you sharing the thoughtful gifts from parts of the UK. Very best wishes from across the pond.
I watch it and get goose bumps too, makes me so proud to be British. Thank-you for showing this. Take a look at the Remembrance day at the Cenotaph, unless you have already and I missed it. Love from 🇬🇧
It's the same discipline, precision and teamwork that they take into battle with them.
Its funny, I was in a royal guard for Princess Anne in New Zealand early 80's....the pride it instills in you is beyond belief. She is the Patron/Commander of RNZSignals. We stood in threes after and had tea and biscuits and she met and acknowledged every group. I have been a Royalist ever since. Nothing instills more pride in you than a full military pagentry parade !!!
