The Queen was above politics and loved people of all nations. She had a role and devoted her whole life to it. Prime Ministers and Presidents come and go, but she met them for decades. She had manners and genuinely cared, but was a mother & grandmother and very human. Think she was strict with following duty as she knew how privileged she was at the same time as restricting it was. Personally, I cannot think of anyone in the world who was admired as much. Thank you for your respectful reaction.

Your comment helps explain why the Queen was held in such high regard. With this position being of birth, the chance of having this position, to be the head of the military, the church, the empire now changed to territories and commonwealth all because of your birth. And yet she had no power and owned so little considering and was still a leader who took her role seriously and with graciousness. And then she topped it off by being like our own mother and grandmother with a bit of fun and finery. We could all use her example of service and benevolent behaviour,

The “big puffy thing” is called a bearskin! The flag draped over the coffin is The Royal Standard, the monarchs own flag. It is flown over wherever the monarch is in residence but never at half mast ( as there is always a monarch. The crown orb & sceptre are symbols of her rule…given to her at her coronation, removed & given back just prior to her committal. The flowers were highly symbolic & included a sprig of myrtle from a shrub grown from a sprig in her wedding bouquet. The clip didn’t show the public…that mainly came after the funeral service…they lined the route 10 deep for over 20 miles. She was a most loved Queen.

Actually, the first part was the coffin being taken from Westminster Hall, where it had lain in state for 4 days, to Westminster Abbey for the funeral service.
Interesting fact : one of the pall-bearers comes from a village in Fiji which is only accessible by sea.
And no, that wasn't it, the major part as far as the public was concerned was taking the coffin in procession to Marble Arch where it was transferred to the state hearse for the journey to Windsor Castle.

WEST-MINSTER - the Minster in the West (of original London). At 4.41 you will see a large soldier in his Redcoat and Bearskin looking at his watch. He is from Wellington Barracks near Buckingham Palace and is in charge of organising all the ceremonial events involving the Household Division (the Redcoats and the Cavalry), so he'd organise you :)
Talking about discipline - the French Generals ordered that their men fire and kill the British Sergeants (not the officers) because they were the guys who knew what they were doing :) One of the Officers gave the wrong order about turning with the coffin. He was ignored till he got it right.
It wasn't the BBC headquarters, but merely for that outside broadcast.
That BIG PUFFY THING!!!!!!!!!! Don't EVER say that if you ever visit England (or Canada for that matter - the Guards at Ottawah). Those are Bearskins - the actual bear skins are provided by Canada when they have a cull. Some of those helmets are over 100 years old! They were originally worn by French troops at Waterloo. The victorious British took them and have worn them as a trophy ever since. That was actually a compliment.
The Big Puffy Thing was actually removed by that particular soldier because he was a pall bearer. On other recordings you can see two hat bearers collecting these helmets, the two officers hold their own. You couldn't carry the coffin wearing one of those.
Hope this helps. You might be able to Google some paintings of The British Guards in Battle to see them in action - those painted by Lady Butler are very inspiring. They depict a century after the Redcoats you had visit:)

She was beloved for many reasons. She was not born to sit on the throne. Her Uncle abdicated in order to marry he twice divorced clover. As the Head is of the Church of England, he could not marry her. That, has of course changed as King Charles 111 is divorced. Her father was not at all prepared to become king, he was quite shy.
She was well loved because of her actions during WW11, as she became an ambulance driver and mechanic, her family opting to remain in London, when so many sent their children to the country side.
She was well loved for taking on the role of Queen at an incredibly young age. She promised to serve her people her whole life, be that short or long, and she kept that promise.
She served during decades of fast paced change and did her level best to stay current. She made very few “mistakes”. Her misstep with her reaction to Princess Diana’s death, one she made because she saw being there for her grandsons was her most important role.
She knew how to laugh, and in these later years that was a bit more obvious. I think she was also an incredibly kind person.
When I saw the imagine of her sitting all alone, among all those pews, with her COVID-19 mask , at the Dukes funeral, I knew she would not stay here very long. And the big head covering came off as a sign of respect
