I’ve been deeply impressed by both gentlemen here. Isaac, your exceptional combination of humility and brilliance is a rare gift that will undoubtedly take you far, young man. And Augustine, my brother, your "golden voice" is nothing short of captivating-perfectly tailored for a long and flourishing career in media. Your interviewing skills, already so polished, reflect a maturity beyond your years. Both of you stand as living evidence of the power and dedication behind your parents' prayers. Keep soaring high, young men; the sky is truly your starting point!

Just because the young man is absolutely brilliant doesn’t mean he should-or would’ve easily-excelled in medicine. Yes, engineering and medicine are both sciences, but they’re entirely different in flavor. I’m studying medicine, and while I find it manageable and enjoyable, I can’t say the same about engineering. Personally, I dislike math-heavy courses, so subjects like physics and calculus would’ve undone me. With medicine, I can avoid those, but someone who struggles with the rote memorization required for biochemistry and microbiology might find their place in engineering instead. It’s all relative. Perhaps the medical school board at KNUST felt that, during the interview, Isaac didn’t convey enough enthusiasm for medicine beyond his stellar grades. After all, passion and alignment with the field often matter just as much as academic performance. But looking at the bigger picture, it’s clear God placed him exactly where he needed to be. Imagine if he had gotten into medicine-would you and I even have had the chance to know his name one day?
