The Asante Kings did very well when it comes to infrastructures back then. This school was built in 1951/1952 by the then Ashanti King. They named the school Kwame Nkrumah just to honour him. Kwame Nkrumah did not built the school or the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Just like they named the stadium Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Ashanti’s are the most sweetest people you can find in Ghana 🇬🇭
*You are a liar and that's expected of you because you are an Ashanti* The university which your king started had *short short buildings* and they were even few then. It was Kwame Nkrumah who built all the old huge halls and facilities you see on KNUST Campus today. The Unity hall, Katanga Hall, Republic Hall, Queens Hall etc were all built by Kwame Nkrumah Also it was Kwame Nkrumah who contracted a *construction company called Gee that built the Teaching hospital* (reason they call the hospital Gee till today) Hatred and lies has dominated the psyche and the whole being of Ashanti's to the point that you guys can lie without feeling any remorse whatsoever. Shame on you for lying against Nkrumah. Ungrateful group of people.

You’re all bunch of liars and I don’t blame you, you refuse to learn history hence all this nonsense, who told y’all Kwame Nkrumah built KNUST? So Baba Yara also built Kumasi Sports Stadium right? 😂. @@collinsmensah9380 If someone says it's a village, that's why do you argue with such a thing.
You can choose to even say New York is a village, no big y
Thats was a very beautiful blog but please Nana Prempeh Agyemang as the brother said was not the first kin of the Asante kingdom, it was Nana Osei Tutu I. It was during Nana Prempeh's era they built the school about 70yrs ago. And the fees too are not that expensive if youre not doing a fee paying course either than that the fees are well below 3000gh for most Art and business courses and even for the others its not that much.
Proud of my region ❤
The air that comes from there is different,is true
You don't know Ghana 🇬🇭 is really beautiful
Garden City is a perfect description of Kumasi due to how lush and green it is💯👌🏾
I just knew you weren’t going to cover every place in 37 minutes. I schooled here for 4 years and I’m just seeing most of the places for the first time in your vid 😂. KNUST is well planned and just amazing and serene
Great job am proud Alumni...
The serene environment over there caught me anytime I'm there
Very proud of my Alma mater; KNUST.💯👌👌👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰🥰
KNUST isn’t just a school for some of us, it’s a family tradition. Majority of my siblings including myself graduated from this great institution. I’m a proud Continental, my blood is wine. Will attend KNUST and reside in Conti in my next life. There are only two universities in Ghana; KNUST and the rest.
I'm really restless to gain an admission there next year❤️❤️
And some people are worried about not seeing Mercedes-Benz in Ghana as if Mercedes-Benz solved issues of life it brings life it brings education it brings jobs creates peace.
some people get their priorities all messed up .
@@abigailmensah9314 you are lying Kwame Nkrumah built KNUST,kwame lay the foundation for the building of this university.
*You are a liar and that's expected of you because you are an Ashanti*
The university which your king started had *short short buildings* and they were even few then. It was Kwame Nkrumah who built all the old huge halls and facilities you see on KNUST Campus today.
The Unity hall, Katanga Hall, Republic Hall, Queens Hall etc were all built by Kwame Nkrumah
Also it was Kwame Nkrumah who contracted a *construction company called Gee that built the Teaching hospital* (reason they call the hospital Gee till today)
Hatred and lies has dominated the psyche and the whole being of Ashanti's to the point that you guys can lie without feeling any remorse whatsoever.
Shame on you for lying against Nkrumah. Ungrateful group of people.
@@michaelbraimah4727
You see the thing?
These guys are really hateful and ungrateful set of people
Why are we even surprised? Even Kejetia that was built recently these set of people claim Otumfour, KMA and Kuffour built it when we all know Mahama secured the loan through Parliament to build that market .
You’re all bunch of liars and I don’t blame you, you refuse to learn history hence all this nonsense, who told y’all Kwame Nkrumah built KNUST? So Baba Yara also built Kumasi Sports Stadium right? 😂. You people should stop all the hate and give credit to the wise Kings of the Ashanti Empire. Your hatred for the Ashanti’s will not take u anywhere. Check the dates this infrastructures were built and compare it to the time Ghana gained independence.
@@abigailmensah9314
You are now acting foolish and childish.
We were emphatic on *KNUST and Gee hospital* . Neither him nor I mentioned Baba Yara in our comments so focus on what we are discussing here.
You need proper education
KNUST and Gee are the legacies of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah and that's what you need to keep in your head and not the lies your old Ashanti adults have brainwashed you with
@abigailmensah9314
*Ofcos you were not told by your elders that Nkrumah was a Prime Minister before becoming the President.
*Ofcos they lied to you that Nkrumah could not have built it because Ghana gained indepence in 1957. *This is how ill-educated the ordinary Ashanti person is* .
They feed you guys with lies from childhood, nothing but lies and it has manifested in all your doings
The worst thing in life is being an educated illiterate. You feel like you know a thing but in all honesty all that you know are false. That's the worst situation in life
That school is "A star for achievers"
The size of the school indicates premium Ghana places on education, the citizens and the future generations.
Something I am inclined to believe is absent in 9ja.
Thanks for sharing my university . I am Aluminia , Unity Hall boy . I bet KNUST is one of the best anywhere .
I guess you want to say alumni😊
Conti
Wow this is massive never knew it has this wow
Lily, I made a comment under your post on KNUST that the school is like a city. I guess you didn't see it lol

Lil, you guys are doing well, but Maame Akua, you guys just pick videos from the Internet and use which is not good but I understand since the budget is not that huge else you have been going to every place you want to project here.
All said, I like you guys, and I know all meaning Ghanaians do
If you were permitted to enter Business school, you will be amazed at the interior of our lecture halls....I was always so proud when i go for lectures.
This is where Mr Eazi schooled.
The best school in West Africa... according to Qs university ranking
Lol it’s UCC
You have to visit the university of cape coast ( it's the best university in west Africa ) which is located in the central region of ghana
Good things sells their selves. If it’s the best he will acknowledge and go there

Nice video thanks ❤❤
bro there is no science and technology school in Africa that can stand this school
This is king’s school that’s also part of what you’re seeing
He takes pride in the everything attached to the kingdom of Manhyia, Ashanti kingdom, otumfour’s own premium university
Which Otumfuo? Instead of praising Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
@@wayasAlunaka You people just heard the name of the university and that some of the structures were built during Nkrumah's administration so it must mean that Nkrumah established the university. Well we hate to burst your bubble but the answer is no.
@@o.t.9567Asantehene, Prempeh established KNUST. WHY ARE SOME YOU IDIOTS! That is why he has his statue there. I am not an Asante, but give it to them. They built their institions. Prempeh College, Opoku Ware, Yaa Asantewaa, etc.

Wow, fantastic!
In 2023, this Uni was adjudged the best in the world in terms of quality education. You. An check your facts!
Katanga hall fraternity is the wildest at KNUST. Experience at Ghana universities and senior high schools especially is a must in life.
Wow 🤩
The driver left the best for the last. The architectural faculty ❤❤❤❤❤

The maintenance staff in university of ghana and knust have perfected their art
