  • In this engaging video, we had the opportunity to interview Prince Paa Kwasi Baiden, who has distinguished himself as the overall best student at the College of Science at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). During our conversation, we learned about his remarkable journey, where he narrowly missed claiming the title of the best student in the entire university. He fell short by a mere Cumulative Weighted Average (CWA) difference of 0.162, with his closest competitor, Oniti Isaac from the College of Engineering, achieving an impressive CWA of 87.23.
Prince's background is deeply rooted in the Team community, where he spent his formative years. He attended Presbyterian Boys' Senior High School, where he excelled academically, securing seven A's and one B in his West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). His dedication and hard work paved the way for him to gain admission into KNUST, the premier university in Ghana, where he continued to shine.
In our interview, Prince emphasized that his story is not meant to serve as a boastful display of his accomplishments. Instead, he sees it as a source of motivation for others who may be facing challenges in their academic pursuits. He aims to inspire them to persevere through difficulties and realize their potential.
During the conversation, Prince opened up about the profound challenges he encountered after the heartbreaking loss of his parents. He experienced the death of his mother while he was in level 100, followed by the passing of his father in level 300. These losses tested his resilience and strength, yet he drew from these experiences to fuel his determination to succeed. Despite the adversities he faced, Prince's unwavering commitment to his education and his future helped him rise above the pain and ultimately achieve remarkable academic success. #knust #valedictorian #inspiration #education #academicexcellence #successstory #interview #motivation
