maria baig it depends. For even visa seeking imgs who have a good application for say anaesthesia or any advanced specialties the soap can work well for prelim. Very few imgs tend to match in categorical soap positions

Pramod Phuyal upto 45 programs you may apply and that is free as long as you registered for nrmp for match

That is easier. Reverse is not that easy if you need visa.

if our usmle cs result is pending ans result is expected in January. can we update our cs result in eras and later use it for soap?
If you get cs result in January yes definitely you can be eligible for soap

No. it is already part of the NRMP registration so as long as you have paid the NRMP registration fee, you should be eligible
