Yes a full setup video (including PC) is definitely on my to-do list, but off the bat I can tell you I'm using a Ryzen 7 3700X processor, GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, and 16gb of RAM
Finally pulled the trigger on my first sim racing setup with a Moza R12 yesterday after lurking in sim racing RUclips channels for last two years. I heard rFactor 2 has the best feel, even better then iracing. Will def be putting hours on this one. Glad to see you have a lot of videos on this game recently. Will be checking them all out. Excited to get started on this sim racing journey. The poster on the wall is sick too. Will def be adding something like that once I get settled in. Cheers!
Only had time for a bit of practice so far Lorenzo, but looking forward to try some races as all looks very good so far. Particularly like the M2 to drive myself as the most similar to my road car.
Good to see all the oil on the track from my race is still there… people slipping and sliding everywhere! Great drive though, and some decent battles with the guys around you. I’m really encouraged with how clean and fair the racing has been, so it’s good to see it in your races too. Looking forward to see you do some more of these in rF2!
I gave rf2 a try and after several days of trying to get the settings right, a miracle happened and the ffb felt right. I did a race a Sebring because before i became disabled i actually raced there on several occasions with the SCCA back in the mid 2000's. It eas just fantastic compared to the other sims ive tried. Unfortunately, getting my fanatec dd pro setup to work proved terribly painful, literally, and far too much work for this old, painful, disabled body to cope with every time i got the urge to drive. Trying to get rf2 set up so i could play it the same as i could play ACC is impossible and i had to give up. Hopefully some day soon they will make the setup something that doesn't take an hour to fiddle with before i can play and make it more intuitive and user friendly for those of us who dont have a computer programming degree.....
It takes a bit to change session from like qualy to race because people are still running in the track and they need to finish their lap first to then switch session
I totally agree - it is great - and a great new experience in this simracing world. But I also agree that there is too far away between each race of the same car - and it's even worse in intermediate level. But maybe they will change that when the userbase expands.
I am having great fun as well on RF2. I like it a lot more than iracing as the netcode and physics are quite a bit better. F8 changes traction control btw
Hi Lorenzo. I’m tempted to try it but very much afraid I would like it when I’ve spent a lot of money and time on iracing. At this point I’d rather focus on one sim at a time but keep these videos coming, they are very entertaining 😊
That makes sense Horacio - also switching sims is kind of a pain. Took me a good amount of time to reconfigure all my settings, set up my overlays again, and so on.
Yeah I have to say that in terms of settings, operability, and getting set up from car to car, the experience is way more annoying than iRacing. It’s only worth it because once you’re dialled in correctly (which takes a while to do) it really does feel great :)
Sorry but maybe we have diferent game. My rFactor 2 still give me only 3 stupid tracks and 3 stupid cars. I like just LMPs, and these circuits and cars like BMW M2, Radical and Tatuus FT-50 are bad for me so is impossible for me going up on higher level, I have still bronze both signs. Its stupid. I want just Le Mans and LMPs and nothing interesting for me. And another bad news for me is spotter which still talking only time, not infos during race about overtakes or ect...
I'd advise using CrewChief as a spotter for a better experience, but otherwise regarding the progression, I'm afraid all sim racing services have it - except for maybe if you play on unregulated online servers, but the racing sucks there!
@@LDFR Thank you, Now I know all these things, but in begining all was very hard. Crew chief is very good help, and now I use only it and tracks are diferent another week. One week are same tracks, and after week they will change they but cars still same, and I still have only bronze safe rank 😞
Great to see more rF2 videos on your channel.
More to come Barry!
Yes! I was hoping you we're going to cover RF2, thanks for the content, great job!
Cheers Ryan mate 😊
Looks good, I like the BMW M2. Can you make like a hardware setup video just to see what you are rocking. Good luck for the next races

@@LDFR Very nice.

Cheers Dan! Appreciate the positive feedback, and good luck in your first race on rFactor2! 🙂

Yes maybe see you in one of the races this week! I'm stoked to go back on, it was that much fun. Good luck with it buddy!
@@LDFR thanks mate 👍

@@chrisrogerssimracing 😂😂 there were slides for days! Looking forward to it too mate, I wish those races would be every hour!
This is nice if rf2 gets ovals I’ll leave iRacing

Yeah setting it up can be a real pain and definitely a deterrent for a lot of people who want a slightly more plug and play solution.

Makes sense!
Glad you're enjoying the Update! really sorry the results animation isn't working for you. is that still the case?
Cheers Corey :) I'll let you know about the results animation when I try my next race!

Yes it's really nice! I really like the natural feeling of the cars. Hope to see you on track!
Ldfr trying new games let's go
Yes I'm also excited about it! I just wish those races were every hour!
I tried this the camera shake is to much I almost threw up. I can't find the setting to stop it.
You can turn on Stabilize Horizon in the graphics settings. If you set it to locked the camera doesn't shake.
Thank you I will give it a try.@@blagger1975
Hey Bill, what Blagger said worked for me too! I also turned off the "head shake" setting

Are these fixed setup races?
Yep!
Not having basic things like a FFB meter or FFB adjustment hotkeys is insane, tried it out but small things like that really annoyed me.

You sound like a very distinguished gentleman!!
That's very kind of you, thank you!
@@LDFR 😇
I was told that on silver level qualy is with people
That's actually really cool - hopefully the case!
I bought rFactor2 for $3 😂 But to buy all the tracks costs $123 😭
Still way cheaper than iRacing 😂
