THEE GREATEST offensive skilled player that has ever played the game... More like all around player!!! “The Black Mamba” was thee biggest beast with too many haters never giving credit when it is well deserved!!!
hermoso... despues de kobe el baloncesto no sera lo mismo para mi.... increible como adapto su juego a lo largo de su carrera.... mientras perdia capacidad atletica se hacia cada vez mas tecnico.... para mi el mejor de todos
@jandgies Exceptional video bro, you and jaysam really BROKE down kobes trademark mechanics that to ME are better than Jordan's. Kobe added more fitness/flare and RANGE in his arsenal
Pinch Post 1.) Kobe as the Passer = Kobe passing to a BIG (Pau Gasol), then cut around 2.)Kobe as the receiver = Kobe in the BIG MAN'S spot = High Post
I'm always amazed at the sheer amount of contact these defenders got away with, and the refs turned a blind eye. When you compare these highlights to Jordan's it's pretty OBVIOUS who had the deeper bag.
3:16 the "rocker step" is actually a travel. He established left as pivot foot but then move the left leg first. But NBA refs wont call it. Kobe isn't the only one who benefit from that...
That first clip 3:15 with the rocker step, isnt that a travel? He was pivoting with his left foot but picks it up before he dribbled the ball? Arent you supposed to dribble the ball first before picking up your pivot foot? Still a kobe fan though!
Kobe Bryant's movement WITHOUT THE BALL is what I wish we could see from 2020 Lebron James. 😞😞😞 Give the ball up EARLIER IN THE SHOT CLOCK, they will give it back to you.
With how natural those moves seemed, it's clear Kobe mastered his game
Tons of practice! 💪

You forgot about Jordan
@Big PP OG almost
Yeah he was very fundamentally sound. But jordan had tricks up his sleeve that even the most skilled veterans never saw coming.
The fact that this video literally gives the full blueprint and is criminally underrated is crazy
Master of the game.
This video is clearly underrated. Please keep the exceptional content coming. Thanks.
Best footwork video on RUclips
this was an amazing video. its really helped on how to read the defenses, defender, help side, attacking gaps
Fabrice January but it only will be useful if one masters the footwork first.
2:37 crazy arsenal without even putting the ball on the floor and defenders still shook with a stationary pivot! #poetryinmotion
Two legends who I wish were still here... Much love to Kobe & Dilla
Kobe is The G.O.A.T.
More content please. These are hidden gems !

Probably the best Kobe video I've ever seen. At the very least, the best Kobe Footwork video
GREAT VIDEO!!!! KOBE HAD ELITE FOOTWORK!!!!!!!!
The man was dominating defenses in one of the toughest defensive eras in basketball.
This & that Steve Nash pick n roll video are beautiful. As a matter of fact, all of the videos are good man keep it up
This video breakdown is excellent for me to work with my son on and to have him watch . Thank you for taking the time on this.
Yes sir! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment! 💪
This is underrated! Keep it up bro! Someday this will be big
You could just tell Kobe always knew exactly what he was doing
Best footwork ever
Damn I miss Kobe...
needed this thank you.
One of the best videos on youtube. Thanks bro
Kobe #8 was so much better because he was younger & trying to destroy everybody. 😀😀😀
Even his own teammates during practice games.
Great video on breaking down Kobe's game.
R.I.P. Kobe and j Dilla 💯🙏🏾
@jandgies Exceptional video bro, you and jaysam really BROKE down kobes trademark mechanics that to ME are better than Jordan's. Kobe added more fitness/flare and RANGE in his arsenal
Will Mccoy The pupil should always strive to become better than the teacher
Agreed, Jordan was more efficient but Kobe had a bigger variety of moves he dominated all the variations, that video was amazing
How did he have more fitness?
This is very useful!
Thank you 👍
🕊THE GREATEST
The breakdowns are nice! RIP Kobe
Footwork MAESTRO. Super underrated part of the game
Even the music is on point 👍
Rip 💜

3:43 wtf the score...

Great video! Just wished the music didnt stop midway :(
Thank u so so much

He dribbles before it touches the ground..........
I thought so too. Til I looked it up. It's legal so long as the ball is "on the way down/out of your hands" before the pivot foot goes back down.....
Great video
Mamba 4 Ever
This how you create shots without dribbling so much like the new era of basketball
Studying this
Rocker step is travel everytime 😂
How many different jabs are there
Can u do Lebron footwork?
Edit: nvm I found it. Lebrons travel compilation
Most skilled player of all time, period no arguments accepted 💯
6:44 hesi skip
Top 3 all time
Why is there parts with missing sound now?
In our game rules that's traveling
Now where is the Jordan video, cause that’s all I see.👀
This is to no comparison between MJ, Kobe and Kawhi. What made Kawhi Leonard lethal was when he learned this kind of footwork. Imho.
Weakside Triangle = Opposite side from the ballhandler😀😀😀

I think if he was to do that and not attack the basket he would be called for it. It does look like a travel though.
the ball touch the ground first before his left pivot.
daaaaaamnnn... looking closely i can really see the beauty
6:28 7:10 7:36 9:39
Ball-side Triangle with Lebron James at the WEAKSIDE MID-POST, waiting for ball reversal from a BIG at the Top of Key. 😞😞😞
DAMN coach.
"Kobe x Dilla" ill collab if ya ask me
Kobe Bryant's movement WITHOUT THE BALL is what I wish we could see from 2020 Lebron James. 😞😞😞
