    96 draft for life

fr! my favorite draft class of all time! A.I., Kobe, Ray Allen, Starbury, Antoine Walker, Steve Nash among others and also as an undrafted player Big Ben

@@inexpugnabilis Before the 96 draft, my parents had me into the players of older times like definitely the bulls on the rise of the first 3 peat (thats how old I am) and though the 2nd 3 peat, I cheered on the Bulls along with my parents, I remember the emotion of some of the battles the bulls and Utah Jazz had, or Bulls and Knicks, or Bulls and Pacers, etc...But I logged out of all of that blind fanboyism after AI got drafted, and I began watching him play, he was my new hero, and the 96 draft changed how I viewed basketball, the draft officially turned me into someone that was committed to watching basketball, not just watching it cause my parents were fans of the Bulls.
Same thing with football, I was blind fanboying the 49ers, because my parents are from Mississippi, and Jerry Rice is from MIssissippi, so I was a blind fan of the 49ers, rooting for them the whole length of my earlier years. I developed my individual, true fanism of the sport, when Tom Brady was drafted in 99, I loved Tom Brady from day 1 for some reason, I never watched him in college or anything, he had no rings yet, or anything, I just liked him for some reason, thus the Patriots became my team, and I was committed to Brady as my favorite player from his 1st game; I'm not a band-waggoner as some might peg me as, I liked the guy before he had a Superbowl won.

    Kobe > LeBalco. EASILY.
    High IQ people = MJ/Kobe
    Low IQ people= LeBalco
Kobe GENTLEMAN SWEPT the 2008 Spurs in 2009 with PRIME DUNCAN while LeBalco got Swept by the same Spurs in 2007. Kobe then GENTLEMAN SWEPT the 2009 Magic 4-1 with PRIME Howard who sent LeBalco home 4-2 in the playoffs, and then Kobe came back from 3-2 to BEAT BOSTON 4-3, the same Boston that sent LeBalco to South Beach.
THREE STRAIGHT YEARS Kobe BEAT teams that sent LeBalco home.
P.S. Kobe LED ALL PLAYERS in the 2001 Playoffs, INCLUDING PEAK SHAQ, in WIN SHARES.
Game 7 2000 WCF, the most important game of Shaq's CAREER, he was choking, and the Lakers were down 20 and Kobe brought them back and OUTSCORED and OUTREBOUNDED PRIME SHAQ in game 7.
2001 Spurs WCF, Kobe was the highest scorer in that series. 2002 Kings WCF Kobe led all players in 4th quarter scoring in a series that went down to the WIRE.
Kobe and MJ are tied for #1 IMO. I'll give MJ the edge because of the rings. 6>5, 1a. = MJ 1b=Kobe.
    Lebron does not compare.

Hey Folks. Very longtime Lakers fan here (60 years). Obviously Kobe's footwork is some of the best the NBA has ever seen. If you get time, watch some old videos of Lakers legend Elgin Baylor and Alex English. Baylor was MJ before anyone knew who MJ was and English was a smooth scorer. Both used great footwork to get their shots off.

NOT ONE SINGLE foul called in these moves. Compare: ruclips.net/video/1aBdKPUk-3g/видео.html

Hey Folks. A couple of things to mention here. First, I realize that the Refs can't call every foul but if you look at many of Kobe's post up moves and some of his regular jump shots, he was fouled on numerous occasions. Second, when players like Bruce Bowen and Shane Battier used to basically slap Kobe in the face while trying to "contest" his jump shot, Kobe would often say; "the basket never moves". If you go back and see those "attempts" at blocking Kobe's shot what you'll see is that Kobe practiced those shots with a hand directly covering his eyes which of course is why he was so successful in making them.

when you see kobe's moves you are like I can't do that. That is why he is in the nba. When you see Lebron pushing people when driving and then crying on the floor for a fould you are like ya. I can do that if I am 6-9 and most athletic person ever born.
