Three of the top four scorers of the 2007-08 regular season all drop 30+ to open up this western conference 1st round series. It was a high scoring, entertaining game with lots of trash talk. Kobe got off to a slow start but picked it up as the game wore on. He scored 28 points in the 2nd half, including 18 in the 4th quarter alone. You could say this was a sneak peak into what was coming in game 2...

@@NETBU I literally just said how good Allen Iverson was in the original post bro 🤣 how could i be hating? He clearly states in many interviews that he would skip practice sometimes, and when kobe went to the gym he was at the club. I can post links if you want, i got the receipts. Stop being so sensitive, i’m not hating just repeating what allen iverson said himself

I appreciate this video so much. I really would love to know how the NBA brass came to the conclusion to make the game more "free flowing". This was a relatively high scoring game but it is Game 1 with the two best Western Conference teams. So, it makes sense but now with the lack of defense and rule changes this score can happen every night.
The old NBA was better 😂

Honestly, as a long time Laker fan this matchup was so good at some point I was rooting for Denver to win 😅 Been trying to copy Melos jumper for years and I think I got it but he made it look so smooth and since he didn’t fully extend his shooting arm it looked like it wasn’t going in! Best shooting form of all time 🔥 second is Tmac.
